Just for other people, when you are in the last step after flash preloader at least in my phone philips, I had a little problem with spflashtool, with one annoying message: "pmt changed for the rom it must be downloaded" and nothing happened after that. So the solution was I had to first config into "Firmware Upgrade" select every item and then press Download, then I had to connect first pressing down Volume button and then putting in with usb cable, in the whole process I pressed down Volume, then no more annoying message and everything was flashed smoothly. You are the best *****

Great video. Thanks for taking the time to make this video, it was really helpful. It can't be stressed enough that you need the correct version of SP Flash Tools. In my case I thought I had the latest version of the tools and was about to disassemble my phone when I found out there was a newer version of the tool. When I used this version, my phone mounted inside the program immediately for downloading the preloader. Look online and find out what version of SP Flash Tools other people are using for your phone.

hey, Leeco kindly help me out my phone is stuck in recovery mode while reset it is not getting switched off until battery gets drained and it says either update system or clear data. when we select update system it says no .zip file found in directory and when clear data is selected it says there is no backup done so you cannot proceed. previously it was showing that in english but now it shows the same in chinese please help me out. when i tried to contact customer care of after sales service they say that it is closet ( those 555 service centers stated by you ) and one of them said all service centers of leeco in india are closed. please do help me even my phone is in warrenty period any suggestions can i do the same ?

HI! I've been following these instructions. So far my PC recognizes de MEdiatek USB VCOM port. I run the SP flashtoools so I can flash my preloader (My PULID S4 doesn't get recognized by any PC, just charges). When I download the Preloader (Download only, just as shown at 17:30 ) I get 100% with the red bar but it never turns purple nor do I get the Download Ok message and actually the device shows up as unrecognized in the device manager and I have to reinstall Mediatek USB VCOM... Anyone has any advice? thanks!

Where is testpoint or reset on BV7000PRO? Had a bootloop to twrp, flashed super su uninstaller and wrong boot.img instead of spflashtool stock rom. Now it is forever logo screen and no fastboot at all. PC and SP FLASH won't recognize it anymore in any state.

I open a flash tool with this phone i press accidently the format button and the phone is bricked now. I think it was formated all included the bootloader. i recently bricked by lenovo a3300-GV its not booting not vibrating even not showing charging. Hi Steven! SInce I have had some serious problems, I would like to ask you, If you have ever had Vernee Thor to unbrick it? I am getting always error S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL(4032). I have tried to press all the combinations on the phone, but nothing worked. There are two things that I cannot do right now, because the phone is in warranty still - open up the phone and connect those contacts and the second is - to flash with some other Preloader, because Vernee provides only one Preloader at the time. after i flashed a custom rom my fly iq4516 phone stopped showing the display it is booting properly but not showing anything on the screen touch is working as i remember the position of buttons so i can navigate a little around the screen and press a button or few but the display is not showing any thing but black screen, even i am not able to see the fly bootlogo please help waiting for you
Hello, I have an Emoto E58 which I bricked trying to install a new firmware. Following the steps I noticed that the device is coming and going in the Usb port list (just like you show in the video) but I can't get it to stay even by pushing the Vol button, it stays visible for a few seconds and the disappears again. Of course I couldn't flash even the android Preloader. I tried to disassemble it but it doesn't come apart. Do you have any suggestions?
man i did what u said i flash at the end the rom with sp flash tool and it says complete.And when i start the phone it says Encryption unsuccessful With one button Reset Phone .I press the button going me in recovery mode and when i do wipe data/factory reset it says "Mount /data error , force format /data". I just don't understand at all.... You connect the golden pins with a short? or jus use the multimeter? ... how i find the correct golden point and how to use it? pls. I heave Htc desire 310. What if I dont have a SP-Flash tool rom but a CWM recovery rom? Is it possible to flash the recovery menu, only the costum recovery menu, and install the CWM recovery rom from there?

Hi, thanks for this video but I am having a challenge, I have tried all available options (except the motherboard solution though), I could lay my hands on to flash a TECNO K7 phone with CPU MT6580 but to no avail. Whenever I want to flash I get this error message "ERROR : S_FT_FORMAT_FAIL (4010) Format flash error! I am trying to upgrade my Canvas HD 20 Android 4.2.1. But, everytime I connect the phone with my pc, the "MTK6589 USB Vcom port" appears for only 2 second in the device manager, then it's gone. And the "Device Disconnect Sound" is played. So, I cant flash the ROM. what's going wrong?

What is that button for. I have dead atnt atrix 2 mb865 mt6572 that went dead during a software repair upload. I have open it to view the motherboard but has very few test points and none seem to give a response, can you help me out. Many people have the dead atrix problem but no one talks about opening and trying to get the computer to recognized, so i am a pioneer in this repair, would apreciate the help.

Hello, I have a M-Horse N9000W MT6572. i tryed to factory reset the phone and he died after it powered off. When i power it on, i can see the first logo with ANDROID and there the screen splits in a few parts, start changing colors, and the only way to power it of or do anything is to take out the battery. I tryed all the methods to unbrick it and i can't figure it out how. The phone continues to connect/disconnects. i have a SP backup but can't connect the phone. tryed to do all the steps on 3 diferent machines and still the same result. please help

I open a flash tool with this phone i press accidently the format button and the phone is bricked now. I think it was formated all included the bootloader. I dont have a method to find what model it is or if really it have dtl 450 model. I think this is not the model because i cant find it in anywhere. Please sorry for my english. The computer detect the phone yet but the phone dont show images when turn on. Do you think it is dead at all?
i recently bricked by lenovo a3300-GV its not booting not vibrating even not showing charging. The same condition has occurred few months ago then i have flashed it with sp tool on window 7 32bit System and its worked. But this time i have Windows 10 64bit when i flashed lenovo a3300-gv mtkxxx_140826 rom after successfully flashed the tab dont showing anything or in same Condition plz Help What was going wrong this time. is 64bit system fault for driver compatibility or i have to flash another version rom suggest me. after i flashed a custom rom my fly iq4516 phone stopped showing the display it is booting properly but not showing anything on the screen touch is working as i remember the position of buttons so i can navigate a little around the screen and press a button or few but the display is not showing any thing but black screen, even i am not able to see the fly bootlogo please help waiting for you

Hello, I have an Emoto E58 which I bricked trying to install a new firmware. Following the steps I noticed that the device is coming and going in the Usb port list (just like you show in the video) but I can't get it to stay even by pushing the Vol button, it stays visible for a few seconds and the disappears again. Of course I couldn't flash even the android Preloader. I tried to disassemble it but it doesn't come apart. Do you have any suggestions?

man i did what u said i flash at the end the rom with sp flash tool and it says complete.And when i start the phone it says Encryption unsuccessful With one button Reset Phone .I press the button going me in recovery mode and when i do wipe data/factory reset it says "Mount /data error , force format /data". What if I dont have a SP-Flash tool rom but a CWM recovery rom?
Is it possible to flash the recovery menu, only the costum recovery menu, and install the CWM recovery rom from there?
+Techmagnet , the thing is that i cannot manage to remove the lockscreen password that i have forgot , i have tried to : wipe data / factory reset , wipe cache and partition.erase eMMC , recovery with SPFT , and nothing removes the lockscreen password ( 4 digits ) any idea on how i can remove it ?

Hi, thanks for this video but I am having a challenge, I have tried all available options (except the motherboard solution though), I could lay my hands on to flash a TECNO K7 phone with CPU MT6580 but to no avail. Whenever I want to flash I get this error message "ERROR : S_FT_FORMAT_FAIL (4010) Format flash error! Thank you so much! I got my phone to work again! It was such a pain in the ass. I had to hold down the volume button while the rom was downloading, but after that it rebooted and went right back to working again :D

hello my good friend steeven from itxtutor, thanks for the nice video. In youre video at minute 7.19 you talk about a reset button in the back covered by some type of removeable plug. What is that button for. I have dead atnt atrix 2 mb865 mt6572 that went dead during a software repair upload. I have open it to view the motherboard but has very few test points and none seem to give a response, can you help me out. Hello, I have a M-Horse N9000W MT6572. i tryed to factory reset the phone and he died after it powered off. When i power it on, i can see the first logo with ANDROID and there the screen splits in a few parts, start changing colors, and the only way to power it of or do anything is to take out the battery. I tryed all the methods to unbrick it and i can't figure it out how. The phone continues to connect/disconnects. i have a SP backup but can't connect the phone. tryed to do all the steps on 3 diferent machines and still the same result. please help
