TNJ, All of Travis Hunter's physical abilities you thought were silver were Platinum btw. You can tell on the right of the screen that his Mental abilities were 2 silver and 1 bronze (they are circular shaped), and the Gold and Platinum tier abilities are Diamond shaped (the shapes could just be distinguishing mental/physical also). But you would be able to see the level needed to upgrade the ability to Gold tier if they were Silver, just like the Gold one is showing. But you can definitely tell the difference between the Silver and Platinums on his ability tree.
Game looks good, with potential to keep us comming back year round with the different schools and player abilities/archtypes.

One big question I have for dynasty. Can you adjust simulated stats / downs played to more closely align with the play counts we get off in 5-6 min quarters?

Will be interesting to see if a two way player like Hunter can have physical abilities for CB and WR positions. The screenshot seemed to only show offensive abilities
I would have loved the high school experience it's what I loved about previous RTG modes. I do like that you can be red shirted and can transfer now since it wasn't an option before. I understand too that this is the first game we have in 11 years so hopefully next year's game they can make some adjustments. I realize if they just put everything into one game it would have been a a lot of work.

This just shows you to never judge a book by its cover. People were beyond mad when they heard EA was going to release a college game and claim it's going to be a reskin, but it's clearly not.

wait… since in college when you dive for a catch n hit da ground da play is over without you being touched down like it does in da NFL so will we be able to get back up or will da play be over da moment we hit da ground without being touched in CFB?
The play will be over as soon as you touch the ground

Yes player ratings will get updated throughout the season confirmed by EA.

They just brought back fatigue. And amped it up to burn quickly.
I understand it’s a dream come true to have College Football back but let’s be real. It’s EA. I’d rather wait til the game releases and make my decision from there. All of this sounds good but will it work as good as it sounds. Who knows especially with all the times we gamers have been let down by EA.
Lmao, dude there are endless videos on all of the new features and the gameplay. If you’ve watched an hour of those and are still unsure, then maybe this games not really your thing.

What’s the difference between abilities & maddens X factor abilities? It’s literally the same thing
Yea always kinda been that way. College has its own name for features. But tbh most of the new stuff was started in ncaa back in the day. I just need a dope ass presentation and very deep dynasty. Not like madden franchise. That ish boring.
X factors are triggered by reaching a certain threshold like one 30+ yard completion. Abilities just straight up are there. And the abilities in this game are triggered based on archetypes and certain set ups as well as ranging based on ratings.
If u play 2k its like badges it just makes players elite versus just good

Depends on if you prefer a more realistic or more arcade style. I'd be surprised if you can't turn it off though
