Wow, this documentary is absolutely mesmerizing! 🐺 The storytelling, breathtaking visuals, and insight into the lives of Yellowstone's wolves are unparalleled. It’s incredible to witness the drama, strategy, and resilience of these majestic creatures in the wild. Thank you, Nat Geo, for bringing such a powerful and emotional journey to life!
25 years ago I was obsessed with wolves. 25 years later and I can't call it obsession anymore, it just is. Wolves have a way of getting into your soul and staying there. I'm comfortable with that. Thank you 💛 for this absolutely brilliant and beautiful documentary about them. I look forward to watching more from you.
Thank you so much for uploading this. I've wanted to watch this series for years but never had the opportunity. Edit: So, I'm probably preaching to the choir here but if anyone is interested in learning more about the individual wolves in the documentary (21, 42, 302, and 06) then I highly recommend the series of books by Rick McIntyre.
@cornell833 they are predators, it’s their instinct to hunt other animals for surviving. However, there was rarely an attack on a human (if ever).indeed, wolves are scared of humans. The only humans that complain about wolves are the shepherds as they risk the loss of their sheep. Moreover, wolves are super important for the biodiversity and balance of the ecosystem. After all, they are named as ‘keystone’ species. Yellowstone is an example after its reintroducing of wolves.
The dramatic and tense battle in Wolf Valley in Yellowstone Wolf Dynasty is not only a battle for survival for wolves, but also a vivid demonstration of the power of solidarity and strategy in the wild, where every decision can change the game
Wolves captivate me. I think the puppies are kind of ugly but the adults are beautiful. They are ferocious and unforgiving towards eachother, clan to clan. Fascinating
Incredibly informative and interesting. I love wolves and learning about them. Teach this in schools instead of algebra. Increase a younger person's interest in things like this that matter. Wonderful documentary.
Danke from Germany/ great documentary from an awesome place. The only thing is bothering me is why would one shot a wolf? T protect their livestock or ones live?
I'm obsessed with wolves. They are beautiful, intelligent, strong, mysterious. It's absolute gift to watch them in their natural habitat.. Great cinematography. Bit I can do without watching animals die. Aren't documentaries supposed to educate us? Watching an animal get torn apart is not teaching us anything. Our planet is violent enough.
you can't leave that part out because it's educating us how the wolves survive. They don't eat grass. They are carnivores. I don't like to see it either, so I fast forward through it. I don't like violence either, but it's part of a their lives to survive. You can't leave that out of a documentary.
I often wonder - how human laws and institutions shield us Humans from the brutal MIGHT IS RIGHT law that nature often enforces on the weak and old with ABSOLUTE RUTHLESSNESS..
17:40 "A coyote pair depends on wolf kills to help them survive the winter." So for 96 years coyotes have been starving to death at YS then? Someone needs to realize that coyotes staying power is infinitely stronger than wolves:: 1926: Wolves were eliminated from Yellowstone National Park 1995-1996: Wolves were reintroduced to Yellowstone National Park and central Idaho.
Nature is too brutal. As I get older, nature survival documentaries like this are becoming harder to watch, even though I used to love them as a kid. I only want to watch the "happy parts". It's sad to see animals get killed for food. 😢

Wolves are so cool!
Very dangerous also
Yes they are
@@cornell833 Not really a threat to humans tho.

Simply wonderful!!!
Can't imagine a world without wolves. People who hate wolves love their dogs. However, we wouldn't have dogs without the wolf.
I love dogs and wolves lol. I dont know anyone whos ever claimed to "hate a wolf".

The moment when wolf 06 crossed the park boundary to find food for her pack was heartbreaking.
Always devastating 😢😢 their survival is making me question my life decision.Amazing wolves ❤
This is an old video... I remember watching this video when I worked in yellowstone summer of 2008.
So this doc is from 21 years ago? Wow
It is another re-hashed documentary. Par for the course for UA-cam.
Its from 2018. TV doc called "Yellowstone Wolf Dynasty"
7 years old .
Thank You for the new update video. ❤

That’s some scary thinking.
Poor female coyote, losing her mate like that. Coyotes mate for life...

This is an amazing piece. Having said that, I disagree with its narrative. 06 was a complete failure as a pack leader.
I honestly believe that wolves should be protected killing them animals is unjust if it was up to me I will find a way of helping these animals
SICK EM PUPPY SICK EM! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🐺🐺🐺❤❤
❤
