I totally agree with you my man, if Nike really wanted “sneaker heads” to go crazy for the new Jordans, (31- 36) they should definitely bring back the retro color ways for the latest Jordans. Infrared, grape, cement just to name a few.

Some NBA Players had custom 35 in the Bel-Air, Infrared and other retro colorwqys and they looked so good
they kinda did that with the 31's and some 33's as well i kinda liked the 33 se that looked like the black cement 3s

That's to make sure that it stand the test of time. You ever had someone ask you? Or you ever herd somebody say if you could wear just one pair of Jordan's for the rest of ur life witch one will it be? That's all the reasons for the wear test.
I picked these up today they were just sitting at finish line. I was like “what?!” had to get em for retail can’t let that opportunity fly by. I like these even though the 7’s were the original.

I followed a lot of sneaker review channels when my interest in sneakers began to grow, but Weartesters stands as the only one I watch almost every single video of to this day.
Always appreciate the history lessons because as a new sneaker enthusiast I'm eager to learn about them. Chris' delivery is always nice to listen; doesn't sound scripted (though he probably have talking points ready lol) and he always has this air of enthusiasm when he talks during these reviews.

I'd go with the 6 Bordeaux. I've always preferred the 6 to the 7. I felt like when the 7 released it was just like a 6.1 or something. Either way, the color way is fire. I hit for my size on SNKRS, and I'm pumped to get them in hand. The fact that the insole is better than anticipated makes me even more pumped. Great review as always.
OG Bordeaux VII's are the first Jordans I remember owning as a kid (there are pictures of me in ones, but I don't remember them) and to this day the VII is my favorite model. It's nice to see they did a great job with these.

The Bordeaux colorway is perfection and I absolutely love it on the 6
i’m not a sneaker head and i don’t play ball competitively but i like sneakers especially now that i can afford them myself. i always look for your review first since you aren’t extra like a bunch of the other guys. you get straight to it and you speak on the pros/cons without hesitation. been watching for a couple months and i’ve just subbed. keep up the good work man.
I’m a big fan of the 7’s and their comfortability but from an aesthetic POV the 6’s just go hard. 🔥

I owned an original pair of Bordeaux 7s when I was a teenager, to this day still my favourite sneaker of all time, the retros just don't seem to be the same quality, judging by looks as I've not actually held a pair of 7 retros

Me too! My grandma got a pair of 2012s from a neighbor and gave them to me. I wasn’t into sneakers at the time so they went on eBay. I bought a pair of 2015s last year because I missed them.

I can’t wait until mine come in. Got “Exclusive Access” on SNKRS, for the first time. These are the shoes I wanted the most out of recent releases. I love the Bordeaux colorway. I’m gonna wear tf outta them so idgaf about resale value. Never been a reseller and never payed more than retail for a shoe. I’m grateful for these.
My man! I've legit only paid resale one time (fairly recently actually) but it was under retail for a pair of MIUSA 990v4s so it was worth it
@@adampandit4326 that’s a dope ass shoe so I don’t blame you and it was less than retail so you won either way!!! Even in 2011-2015 when I had a REALLY good plug and could get anything, I wouldn’t overcharge people I messed with. I’d charge $20 more if I had to drive to you or ship them. Even on the yeezy 2 solars I was giving those to my boys for retail. Made sure the whole team was fresh 💯.

im placing my money on the hard 6, 7’s were never my shoe I always felt they were to light n not enough ankle support where the 6’s were incredibly durable and well crafted

Honestly Nightwing I have been following your channel forever… thank you for the content.. now as far as the 7 or the 6 that’s a tuff one, on 1 hand the borduex 7s are one of the best color ways on a Jordan hands down, not only did mj wear them in the music video and on court but that was also a colorway bugs bunny sported too, now on the other hand.. my older brother gave or got me my very first pair of Jordan’s which was the maroon 6.. so sentimental value on the 6. I’m not saying the 6s are better but the color way on the 6 is to me a mix of pure perfection.. it’s like the 7 and the 6 got it on and this was the out come and yes the first Ring in a jordan 6…..roast me if you want but they are very awesome and I’m happy I was able to get a pair! Also they may not have put a 23 on it because tinker already designed it in the shoe and if you don’t know the 2 is on the back area and the 3 is on the side build.

Same, 6s are a Top 3 Jordan silhouette for me. And even though I'm not a huge fan of 7s in general, the bordeaux colorway is my favorite, so these are a must cop

6s hold up forever. I still wear my sport blue 6s from like 8 years ago and if they get dirty i can literally just wash the white leather in the sink.

I'm a Batman Returns and AJVI fan, and I wish JB would release an all-black AJVI in time for the movie's 30th anniversary next year. I love how the 6 was customized into Bat-boots which Michael Keaton reportedly loved.

Those look good! I agree….hopefully they stay the course and just implement those extras touches in all the retros regardless of distinction between OG and non OG.

Oh shizz!! The Bordeaux 7s were the first pair of Jordans I ever owned. My mom would never buy me jordan's but since I was 14 she set me up for some babysitting and I was a Paper boy and I came up with the money and got me the shoes. Long story short(too late) that colorway has a special place in my heart.
Facts the built in huarache make the 7 one of the best of 1-17s to play in and wear

I'd imagine the colour blocking would be similar to the flints, but it would be red instead of grey. Would be interesting tho!

I’m the fence..I’m more loving the 7’s than the 6’s..I feel like since the bottom of the shoe is very colorful, I feel like the could have done that on the 6’s.

They are. Super comfortable and they don’t have that annoying jordan 6 tongue. The tongue on the 7 just stays in place .

The 6s are my favorite jordan of all time but I definitely prefer the 7s. Kind of a double standard, I think I like the 7s just because the colorway released on them first. I do like that colorway on the 6s though.

I always wished since a child that Nike/Jordan brand switched it and did a Bordeaux 6 and a Maroon 7. I felt like the silhouettes complemented the others colorway more. I need to really see if I can get my hands on these
I think that the yellow/orange lacelocks pay homage to that section of the 7s outsoles that is yellow/ orange. You can see just a tiny area of these when you look at the 7s from the side. Sorry if i did repeat that thought, i didn't scoll down all the other comments. Cheers from germany

I am a huge fan of the Bordeaux 7 . I agree the 7 in my opinion maybe the most comfortable Jordan there is ! I’m a fan of the OGs but being that these are a original color way on one of my favorite silhouettes I copped em . However the 6s are more stiff which makes them more crease proof so I put the beat on these and they stayed fresh for a year ! These were done great ! They are durable and with that smoked out sole they are built to last but 7s always !

Bordeaux was my first pair of Jordans my dad got me ....They were sitting on the shelf at V.I.M in Brooklyn NY for $125 man the good old days. I'm definitely copping these
I saw these today in footlocker in my size, they are actually very nice in hand. I might go back and pick em up. The Jordan 6 Carmine was my second pair of Jordans in high school (91).

I'd def choose the 6's over 7's. The midsole alone is way better than the 7's and the 6 is overall built nicer than the 7's. Good review tho, glad I picked them up early on SNKRS

I'd still pick the 7s all day. I loved the Jordan 7. Back in the day I had the 3, 7, 10 and 12. The 7 was my favorite. Though I have to say my favorite old school (90's) era Nike Basketball shoe is still the Air Unlimited that David Robinson wore when he won the scoring title.
Dope review guys. These are a go for me. I have been anticipating this pair since the rumors and early images leaked. That smoked translucent outsole compliments the upper so well. Just letting you know, if I can obtain a pair. I am stealing the way you utilized the lace locks. Lol. The lace locks are on of the best features on the 5s and the 6s. Plus this shoe comes with an extra pair of laces. I can't wait for the release. This might be my Jordan Retro of the year. Later.

When I first saw the Bordeauxz on dope boyz and rich kids bacc in Jr high, was the first time I fell in luv with a shoe.... I had prowingz.... these were works of art fuccn masterpiecez.... and people took em for granted kiccn roccz n shit I was appalled.... like "wtf ru doin????".... this colorway came from tinkerz original muse for the 7 which was an afropop poster.... I did an essay on the 2011 and og pair
I really like those sixes and sevens this is a sweet colourway also! I like the look I have an actually on a pair but I may actually add to the collection someday. I’m trying to decide which one I like more and it’s so difficult because each one has certain things on it that I really like. It’s hard to tell also when I haven’t worn them but I just looking at them maybe the sevens just by a little bit and I mean full length air isn’t bad also, might be more comfortable. But yeah probably would have to go with the 7s. Both are some of my favourite retros though for sure! I really like high tops when playing ball but that’s because I got smaller ankles so it just helps with the support lol 😛 but I really like some low tops also just depends on the shoe. Loved the video Chris and gf ☺️
I think they could’ve done a better job on the tongue on the 6s, if it was closer to the 7s then the 6s would be unmatched.
Just copped a pair. I always liked the OG colorway, but not a fan of how the 7’s are actually low tops with a high collar. 6’s feel like a more solid shoe. Probably why they’re heavier. A def. part of my rotation now.

I had the original 7’s when I was a kid. So my vote would be the 7’s. I loved them. But am a huge fan of the six and think they are sweet too.

There are two pairs of Jordan’s that I hold near to my shoe loving heart.. one of them not being a original color way however to me the best color way in the 11 lineup.. the 72/10’s.. and my ultimate favorite pair without a doubt are the Bordeaux 7’s.. I had them when they first released and had the Hare’s as well.. I must say I have also been eyeing these Bordeaux 6’s since they were first announced last year however preferred the original picture version with the painted black souls.. however, to me these are a MUST cop.. dope video as always. I liked the hare 6 as well but feel like the dropped the ball on the pinkish looking outsole. These were executed well tho.
