    Sorry you got heckled. You handled it as gracefully as possible. Another great video. Love the stats & history you include, as well as the drive arounds. The blue houses are supposed to be "Haint Blue." There is a particular shade, but I guess they are going with any shade that resembles the sky. It's supposed to keep the spirits away. I've always seen it on porch ceilings. It's supposed to confuse the spirits, somehow.

      When I was a little girl growing up in the south I learned that porch ceilings were painted blue to fool birds and insects into thinking it was the sky, to keep them from building nests and cobwebs there. Haint blue, a more saturated blue and less like the sky, was something some folk painted their houses or around their doors and windows to keep evil spirits out.

    Groovy episode. The town goes from old, broken down houses, to well maintained antique homes. In between older track style homes, perhaps originally built for workers. Some of the locals seem somewhat protective of their town.

    • @TIMJMEANSBUSINESS
      @TIMJMEANSBUSINESS  Місяць тому

      There's nothing wrong with being protective over your property, not the public. It's important to know the law before approaching tourists or others to tell them what they can and cannot do, it could lead to serious consequences like a crime or even a lawsuit. This is why we have Law enforcement. Glade to hear you like the video, thanks for watching.

      You were trespassing. That dirt road you went down when you said let me get out of here. That was her PRIVATE road. You broke the rules and didn't stay on the public street. She was going home when she seen you coming out of her property. She wanted to know who the hell you were. It was your fault and you need to erase the video and make it right. @TIMJMEANSBUSINESS

      If it has a street sign, I don’t care if it’s paved or a dirt road, it’s still registered as a street. If it were a private road, there should be a sign clearly stating “private road”, “no trespassing.” You people in Cassadaga need to educate yourselves on the law.

    • @TIMJMEANSBUSINESS
      @TIMJMEANSBUSINESS  29 днів тому

      @@multiplemyelomajourneyofjo6506 So, there are 3 houses on that street, right? How did she even know if I wasn’t coming from one of those homes? Also, she shares that street with others, whether it’s a dirt road or a paved road, it’s still a public street for everyone. I drove down the road, turned around, and left. Trespassing only happens when you're on someone’s property, knowingly, and after being told to leave either by a sign or someone directly informing you. There were no signs, and no one told me anything. So, legally, I wasn’t trespassing on that dirt road. You sound ridiculous.

    Very cool video-- are there only 66 people in town or 66 homes, wasn't sure if I heard that correctly. It has a vibe that I really like-kind of a decaying Southern Gothic. I like the juxtaposition of well kept homes & homes left to ruin. What is the closest "bigger town" for shopping & dining? Btw, love the yellow home with the bright purple door.

      The village of Cassadaga has a reported population of just 66 people according to census and local government records. However, there are many homes and residents near the borders of Cassadaga. The closest towns are Orange City and Deltona, Florida. Thanks for watching!

    You did not film Cassadaga until 18 minutes in. You filmed Lake Helen. None of those houses have anything to do with the religion of Spiritualism or George Colby. The woman you call "Karen" is pissed because you went on her private property. You know that road that wasn't concrete? The one you said im going to get out of here now? Yeah that was her private road, not public, and you were trespassing. Not to mention sharing her face without permission. You should erase this video, it is not fact and you got all your info wrong. Schedule with the PR committee to get it right and do a proper interview. NONE of those houses have anything to do with Cassadaga for the first 18 minutes.

      I don’t need her permission. I can film anyone in public. If she didn’t want to be recorded, she shouldn’t have approached me. Learn the law. For your trespassing claims. If it has a street sign, I don’t care if it’s paved or a dirt road, it’s still registered as a street. If it were a private road, there should be a sign clearly stating “private road”, “no trespassing.” Keep out! You people in Cassadaga need to educate yourselves on the law.
      As for her approach, I don’t think she was nice, she was condescending. She should have approached me with respect instead of being so demanding.
      I came there to film the town like I do all around the United States. I’ll be reaching out to the county to see if I can have a sheriff officer patrol that area more. Because you guys don’t NO THE LAW. Someone needs to train your town representatives on the law. Further more I don’t have to schedule anything with NO ONE to come film any town here in America.
