Central Florida is a great place to fly gyros, and the Kallithea with the doors off is a fantastic flying machine. Feeling the cool air around you is priceless...
You are correct about the noise level witout the doors, but with decent headset you can ignore the extra noise. On a steamy hot day, flying open cockpit is a delight... That being said, I will keep the doors on for long cross coutry flights where the wind beating you gets old befor too long. The vents provide enough ventilation to feel comfortably in flight.
Beautiful footage with the doors off 👍😎

Those were some crazy crosswinds this year.
That was not a joke... and really demonstrated the ability of the gyro to handle those with grace...
That machine must have some serious power to lift those enormous balls required to fly that thing.
Haha, you are funny… 😉
On a serious note, I would consider modern gyroplane before i give a Cessna a look.
Peter, I’m thinking that flying with the doors on will quiet the interior making communications much better. What’s your view on this issue?

@ , this is why I’m leaning toward an enclosed. Thank you.
