Another neat benefit of costumes is battle damage. Take when the hero gets slashed with a sword for example, if you are a kid's show you wouldn't want blood and gore on screen but you would still want to show that the situation is tense, so the best move would be to cut the clothes. If superman gets attacked you can also let the clothes be torn while the body is fine to show how tough he is. If the suit has a lot of patches in it then you can tell the hero is in an urgent situation, or is not taking care himself properly or lacks the necessary funds to get a new suit. If the hero keeps the damages then it could also work as a scar, showcasing what the hero has been through and overcome.

this isn’t really related to the video, but let’s say, in a completely hypothetical and very very alien and unfamiliar scenario, you make a superhero over the course of almost a decade that you REALLY REALLY love. The concept, the backstory, the personality, the look, EVERYTHING.
Now how do you introduce that superhero to the reader without being completely and utterly disappointed in how you’ve introduced them?

If Drelix becomes popular and successful enough, would you consider creating a film division for it to produce movie adaptations of your comics? It would be a sick idea.

@drelixcomics Rob Liefied based Deadpool's look on the concept of, "What if Spider-man used guns?" Only the his backstory is based on Deathstroke
, and that was by Fabian. Taskmaster looks more like Deathstroke than Deadpool, because their looks were both created by the same artist.

I got a question. Can you do a similar video for personalities like the power system that you made pls? I would love to have a easy to understand personality chart that's similar to your power system chart that I can use with my characters cause for me honestly? Personality SUCKS!! And all the novel writer tutorials don't really work well for me...

I Loved the Phantom comic strip growing up ngl .I also watched the movie but I'm sure it's aged like milk so I won't watch it to not ruin the nostalgia.

@@drelixcomicsPulp heroes are THE MOST underrated kind of superhero, not gonna lie. And the thing is, they came first! Superheroes are based on pulp heroes! The only ones that I’ve seen in recent years is Tom Strong and Flash Gordon. Other than that, there aren’t that many. They seem really fun to play around with, because they’re meant to be over saturated, comical, colorful, and entertaining. I’ve just played around with making one for the fun of it, and it is SUPER fun and I would totally recommend it if you ever want to make a fun art piece/project when you’re not working.

Imma not a fan of the Power ranger suits cuz of the spandex hopefully in the reboot they make it more like Armor like Black panther's suit

@@drelixcomics I love the PR suits! They give off so much nostalgia from binging the franchise on Netflix before Dino Charge was out! I chose to give SoulFire, my character, a civilian form specifically for the purpose of having a morphing like sequence that resembles the Disney era of the show!

Well, unfortunately, Objectively Speaking and 'Impartial'-Wise, Critically Speaking and Analytical-Wise, and Realistically Speaking and Truthful-Wise and Generally Speaking and for Simplicity's Sake, this's one of the most disgustingly awful Super-Hero Suit(s) that's ever been creatively made for characters such as SuperMan at corporations such as Warner Brothers'-DC Comics' and DC Studios' in and of themselves, since this very Super-Hero Suit takingly steals particularly specific parts from other Super-Hero Suits that're from Comic Book Era(s) and Continuities' such as DC's New Earth Continuity (EX. Trunks. (Unfortunately.).), DC'a Kingdom Come Earth Continuity (E.G. Symbol(s).), DC's New 52 Continuity (EX. Turtle-Neck Collar, and also, Suit Color(s).) and/or DC's Rebirth Continuity (E.G. Boots.), w/h out making any lick of logically rational sense(s) of what they're even actively doing w/h any single facet(s) of said Super-Hero Suit in both the short run of things and in the long run of things at all. (Aesthetically Speaking and Visual-Wise, and also, Artistically Speaking and Creativity-Wise. (Amongst many other things and matters.).). - And, so, this very Super-Hero Suit is a conflictingly inconsistent mess of a Super-Hero Suit that should've never been creatively made in the first place in a critically analytical way overall and they should've gone back to every single of their drawing boards in order to retroactively change and constructively (re)-design said Super-Hero Suit for the betterment of films such as SuperMan: Legacy in a positively great manner and in a spectacularly amazing fashion altogether as well, too. - Just Saying.
