FUN FACT if you arrange the dates in the show you’d quickly realise the anomaly of the timeline: There was no summer. So its interesting how ‘summer vacation’ is emphasize in first trailer but if you align the time youd realise that lu guang’s watch says its april in the first ep of s1 but everything thats happening that we actually see is in September. Theres multiple clues scattered throughout the show that proves this. (The company holding their 3rd quarterly meeting, emmas parents giving her more warm clothes, also I think emmas death day in ep 9 when the captain was looking at her file)

It was one day earlier than it was supposed to be, because from what I know they were already arrested the day CXS finished investigating. Theres also files showing someone (Probably LX) was investigating the Time photo studio and is highly suspected to be the one who gave them the Emma case to test their abilities. Lu Guang's phone password is important. It is theorized to be the date and time Cheng Xiaoshi died. This date is before the case with Emma (it is september). It could point that Lu Guang of S1 EP1 is already a time leaper by this point. 2. Looks like he already knew something sus is going. Also there are more Bridon PV in youtube or bilibili, and even the song release related to Bridon makes it look like Liu Xiao knew Lu Guang. Possible ex? Possible animosity? Who knows. It is also hinted that Liu Xiao is the master manipulator that ultimately lead Xixi to her death just so her brother goes to his side. So about the hat guy, he was the boy that looked like Cheng Xiaoshi that we saw talking to Li Tianchen when he was little, he’s the brother of the blonde guy from s1 Liu Min. And as for the ending Cheng Xiaoshi died in the future, and as you saw with Qaiolin when people with abilities die they pass on their power. Lu Guang inherited Cheng Xiaoshi’s power and has been going back in time to save him, he said that this was his last chance as well meaning he’s likely tried and failed A LOT of times before this point. Also about season 3 it’s confusing whether it takes place during the past in their college days or present after s2. My personal guess is it’s a bit of both, there’s also one more trailer that dropped very recently, it’s pretty short but it gived more info about s3 so if you’re interested DEFINITELY check it out! People reading this can correct me if I get any info wrong and such but I think that’s everything!
This finale changes the ENTIRE series. It's actually fucking insane. Cheng Xiaoshi has died at least two seperate times, and both times Lu Guang takes his powers, returns to season 1, and tries to rewrite Cheng Xiaoshi's fate. Li Tian Xi's death is explicitly shown to transfer her ability to Qiao Ling. Season 3 is coming soon, and we will likely be seeing Cheng Xiaoshi die. At least once. I'm not ready 😅
Chinese names are structured "family name (surname) + given name" Lu is the surname and Guang is the name his parents gave him Cheng is the surname and Xiaoshi is the given name

And it is also worth it to check out the full songs for the openings and endings and seeing how much of the story is actually spoiled or hinted at in the lyrics and seeing the symbolism In the visuals. They really put so much thought into this show, it's crazy amazing 🤯.
i couldnt stop crying. Every scene just hurt so much. I never imagined xixi would die. It just sucks to see. Maybe its because I can relate so much. I have a very close sibling, we were physically abused alot growing up. My mom passed away 2 year ago due to family drama. Everything hurts when you can relate more. 10/10 season 2. Maybe its because I can relate so much, but wow this show is really good. 😭😭

Introduced them by their english names with glasses guy beinf Xavier, model guy being Felix and the new guy as Vein. Those three are being teed up to be the next main villains.
so based on the final eps, ppl were theorizing that in s1 and s2, it's not the 1st/original timeline since lu guang have seen cxs died before. we don't exactly know how many times lu guang have jumped into a picture at this point. lu guang jumped into a picture to save cxs and he could do that bcs when cxs died his powers got transferred to lu guang. also season 3 (yingdu chapter) will consist of 8 eps and it's a prequel of when cxs and lg were on a vacation to london/bridon if I'm not wrong, it'll be released latest this december i think🤔 i think it's not really a season 3 per se as i heard the real next season actually will be after yingdu chapter
Okay, I'm not tapped into the fandom or online theorizing, and have been avoiding promos for s3 in case of spoilers, but here's some interpretations of things in the finale as I take it and a little theory: -Hat guy is the brother of Liu Min (crazy rich kid who attacked Emma, got paralyzed, was being piloted by the boy twin via his sister's power). I don't know if he has powers or just has a sort of oversight of the lines of fate or something. He is also the kid that jumped into the fountain after the boy twin's soccer ball, establishing their relationship. (My personal vague theory is that Hat Guy can go to any point in his own life and take over his younger self to influence the past and bring about the future events he thinks will bring about his ideal future.) -The way the boy twin controlled people remotely was by controlling his sister, whose power was to enter the current minds of people that she sees in a photo and know all their thoughts and memories. By touching and controlling her, he can jump into the other person and control them, and Xixi goes dormant and is unaware. Chen Bin's emotions were too strong and got through her brother's control to reach her and she broke the connection and ran. -The spark moving from Xixi to Qiao Ling I am pretty certain was her powers, which raises a heck of a lot of questions about what the powers really are, but also answers why Lu Guang had Cheng Xiaoshi's clap power. That part of the scene was a memory from when Cheng Xiaoshi had been killed and died in front of Lu Guang, and therefore his power passed similarly to Lu Guang. Lu Guang then used it to go back and change the timeline so Cheng Xiaoshi didn't die (which is a DIRECT paradox but we'll find out why that worked at some point no doubt). Lu Guang probably does not still have a clap power since Cheng Xiaoshi is alive, unless he's like, a Lu Guang from an alternate timeline wherein he might have it but not be using it? Unless only one occurrence of each power can exist per worldline but that's carrying off into theory-weeds so we'll find out at some point what's going on there. -Uhhhh, aside from some projections I think that's it?
Yes, it is now confirmed Chen Xiaoshi was dead. Lu Guang used his power teleported from the "future" to save Xiaoshi. Lu Guang now is in the "picture" and can't clap or he will return to the "future"! lol
Here is a little summary of what we learned with this S2 finale : 1- You got it : When someone dies in another’s arms, their power transfers to the person holding them. That’s why Qiao Ling can access the sister's memories, and why we see Lu Guang being able to use Cheng Xiaoshi's abilities. Initially, Lu Guang couldn’t use this power, but in the original timeline, Cheng’s death enabled him to. 2- Lu Guang cannot actively use Cheng Xiaoshi’s power in the timeline we know (S1+S2) because he’s currently within a photo. If he claps, he’ll exit and return to the timeline where Cheng is already dead. 3- It’s likely that Lu Guang has been repeatedly attempting to save Cheng Xiaoshi, and that this time he possessed a version of himeself long before the events of the 2 seasons we watched (presumably before their first meeting at the basketball court). This explains his unusually deep understanding of their powers (he was the one teaching Cheng Xiaoshi since S1), his sometimes “old” way of speaking, and the fact that Qiao Ling once mentioned he “just appeared” in their lives. So it seems he’s made numerous attempts to prevent Cheng’s death, failing each time, and we don't know how many photos he used. 4- The timeline we followed across these two seasons is likely Lu Guang’s last photo-his final attempt to save Cheng Xiaoshi. If Cheng dies here, it’s game over. But with the introduction of a new character discussing parallel timelines, it seems likely that he has a power of his own, possibly the ability to see the future? From his perspective, Lu Guang and Chang Xiaoshi’s actions could be disrupting the timeline, making it harder for him to foresee events clearly or something (like if no one uses powers it’s one certain timeline and future he can see, but when there are people with powers messing with the past that’s what creates the uncertainty because the initial timeline is divided ?). So he might see Cheng Xiaoshi’s death as necessary since he is the one with the power to actively change the past ? Just theory of course for this last part
in my opinion season 1 link click was a solid 8 or 9 out of 10. Season 2 overall was a about a 5. Season 2 had a couple of great episodes but overall it didn't hit as hard as season 1.
Nah, I disagree. But that's your opinion. While s1 had more emotion in their episodes.I prefer s2 whole season long coherent story over episode by episode short story style in s1.
It's still good, I would say 7/10 but there was just too much fight scenes that detracted a bit from the story I think. Season two does have its moments with the siblings and the detective stories.
