With thinning shears I wouldn’t cut an entire haircut with em so does that apply for the staggered blade? Or is the effect not so pronounced. You can definitely overdo thinning shears so I wonder . I don’t cut my hair super close for fades etc , I also don’t like obvious lines or divisions but like the hair to look natural to medium length. I don’t like showing scalp at all I saw a vid of a guy using the magic and senors w the same blade and somehow the magic seemed to take out more and show more scalp while the seniors seemed more flat and dense . Idk if a motors speed would cause that difference... I’m tryna figure out for what kinda cut I like if a tapered blade vs fade blade is best . Considering what I mentioned what do you think would be a good idea? I was looking into Magic’s or seniors. I see the corded magic and senior 5 stars are exactly the same w motor and blade . I actually heard someone use the crunch lower blade with a different top blade. Iv been cutting my hair for a few years but am looking into taking it more serious for a more consistent and appealing cut. Any ideas? Thanks.
Id use a taper blade. The way it naturally sits against a head makes so it doesnt create harsh lines, and doesnt cut as flush as a fade blade. If thats what youre looking for I wouldnt get neither the magics or seniors. Id go for a babyliss fx. They should be pretty cheap by now.
When I got them fresh out the box I struggled. Now I can fit them snug without any modification. I guess your method could work if you don't want to struggle the first time like I did
Yes like I mentioned in the video it's hard at first cos it won't sit flush but I don't have any issues with them since. I can remove it and place it whenever I want to clean them correctly with no issue
A zero gap doesn't. Necessarily mean a complete zero gap. As stated in the video I had no cuts when I did my neck test. And on children again I have had no cuts. If you properly set them there safe. A ceramic Blade isn't necessarily sharper as a steel one it just stays sharper than a steel one and causes less heat since the friction isn't being done steel to steel
Within the context of clipper blades, there's no such thing as "too sharp" - either it's cutting skin because it's too close or you keep the space between it and the bottom blade.
Honestly, the Staggertooth blade is one the dumbest things I've ever heard of for a clipper. Imagine if you had a saw and you were chopping a tree down. Half of the blades are taking the full brunt of the cut and the other half are only doing half the work, at best.
I recommend it 100%. It beats having two machines, like the wahl magic clips and the seniors, which is a very common combo for barbers. The slower motor of the wahl magic clips combined with the staggertooth blade, which essentially texturizes as you cut, is a great thing to have. But I do a lot of mobile barbering so having one machine that does 2/3 things leaves room in my mobile barber station. But you do need more control cos the seniors are designed with I believe 7200 rpm so you need more control when blending cos it will push the guidelines up very easily if you're not careful with your arm or wrist. So you will need to master them. I struggled with it I will not lie. If you don't practice it WILL take a good bite put of a blend if you're not careful
You still need oil. Always use oil on everything that rubs and causes heat and friction. But if you're oiling after every cut there's no problems with doing that but typically once every 5 heads is enough
You can find then on the web if you look hard enough. But I personally wouldn't recommend them. It runs on friction and heat most of the time it'll just flake off.
is the magic clip combo good for beginners and do you have any recommendations for a beginner barber clipper

You gotta sand the cam follower to remove some plastic. Then it’ll sit flush

Is it hard to install? Lots of reviews on Amazon say they don't fit

@@ragethewickedbarber9999 can you make a video bro ?
Do you need to change the top blade as well?
No
Personally I wouldn’t fully zero gap w/ the stagger tooth blade , the blade it self is too sharp

Very informative
Bro have the stagger tooth ceramic blade on your senior the nice crunch sound ? Thanks for the video man ! Greetings from Germany buddy✊🏼
Do you recomend the ceramic stagertooth blade on the whal crodless senior??
I recommend it 100%. It beats having two machines, like the wahl magic clips and the seniors, which is a very common combo for barbers. Do I need to oil ceramic blade after each use or not more oil?
It still needs oil.

In my opinion, the stagger tooth blade creates too hard lines in de fade what can ruin your fade…
Yo would you recommend the ceramic ?
Yeup. Even if it cuts the same you'll definitely notice the machine staying cooler for much longer.
Where can l find magic staggered in gold ceramic?
You can find then on the web if you look hard enough. But I personally wouldn't recommend them. It runs on friction and heat most of the time it'll just flake off.
