I feel like deadmau5 overmasters himself. His work is always better in its unfinished form, as here it's raw and pure, not filtered through his lens of mastery.

Which is really sad, because what’s the point of putting months (or years in terms of Hit Save) of work into a masterpiece of a song if it never gets to see the light of day and heard by millions of people?

@@xaptus even though I would absolutely kill to hear everything deadmau5 makes behind the scenes and for everything he works on during streams to see the light of a full release, I would still want him to have the the freedom to create purely to satiate the urge and need to create, without any expectation as to what will happen with it.
Some might see it as misleading if he is working on a track during a stream only to never have it manifest as a tangible deliverable piece of art. And I understand completely. A lot of people (myself included) resonate with his music very much, and having access to the ability to play a piece of music you resonate with (and that might help you through a situation) at a moments notice through the efficiency of streaming platforms is really convenient and desirable.
But there is so much beauty in the act of doing something just to do it. It’s a similar beauty to monks creating mandalas out of sand only to wipe it away afterwards. And at least we all get to watch it happen and experience his creativity together and connect because of it

I do, but I can't upload it due to the major copyright lawsuit it faced. The summary basically follows that someone tried to claim 'All I Have' as their own song and uploaded it to Spotify, where it was eventually removed from all streaming services and would be blocked if it was ever found. Soundcloud luckily has a couple of versions floating around, and I have three different ones.
