Noah when he killed Ornstein and Smough, it was super fast because he glitched the OP weapon to have the moveset of the Estoc so it does a ton of damage super quick and use less stamina.
At 8:08 some speedruners will spawn in the weapon so they can keep playing the run and not have to keep reruning the same section if they don't get the weapon.

He put the heavy armor on during Nito because of his bleed resistance. At that early on, one skeleton can kill you quick. Also Noah, you need to play the game dude it's so fun.
The reason he is doing so much damage is also because he is doing a weapon animation glitch so that the halberd has the estoc animation which has a multi hit run attack
we also have hitless and deathless runs that you should react to in the soulsborne community , not necessarily for a video but just to see how insane people are , A few people have even done the god run going from Demons Souls to Sekiro without taking a SINGLE HIT
27:35- when he says the bed of chaos is stupid, he means when you don’t use the firebombs to break the things on either side. Doing it the “intended” way is just a parkour boss where you have to avoid stupid tree arms that are guaranteed to knock you in a hole and kill you 30 times over, Bed of Chaos is undoubtedly the worst boss in the Souls series
Ok, it is just me or did noah completely butcher the sen’s gate skip explanation. It might just be me who doesn’t actually know what is happening here since it has been awhile since i last heard the skip’s explanation, but i will still put it here how I remember the skip anyways. At around 10:15 or so the skip starts. Anyways, the way i remember is that you lure one of the enemies from the undead parish, as you see in the video the speed runner hit an enemy with the bow, and then position yourself in a specific spot on the bridge, i don’t remember exactly what happens next, it could be a shielding a hit or parrying one, but what ever happens clips you out of bounds. The next part is the most important thing that allows the glitch to happen. The developers of the game put two planes in the game in give your death a more cinematic effect. The top layer is the death cam plane while the bottom layer is the actual kill plane itself. The death cam plane and the kill plane are not one and the same and are placed separately from one another. When you get clipped out of bounds by the attack, your character’s hitbox touches the death cam plane, but doesn’t touch the kill plane, which is good since you would die if it touched that plane. Touching the death cam plane does a lot of thing in game, like not loading different areas of the game. This can be exploited by memorizing the path to sen’s fortress and since collisions is always loaded no matter what, only the textures and actors in an area are unloaded. Normally you wouldn’t be capable of getting in due to there being a gate, but (don’t take my word for it since i don’t remember the actual reason on this part) i think that the gate itself is considered an actor since it has to be moved later on in the game, as you remember from earlier, actors are unload in this state of the game and you can just walk though Schrodinger’s gate. You are not attacked by enemies since they are actors and thus unloaded. When you reset the game, your position is stored and everything is loaded properly. I don’t know how noah got the invincibility part and i honestly don’t know if that is a thing that death cam does, but since enemies are unloaded except for the area that was already loaded, you will probably have to try yourself to see if that is true... or just look it up in the internet. This is how this skip works... hopefully, i’ll look like an idiot otherwise. Also, I don’t know if he corrects himself later on in the video, and if he does... Sorry
Also, red tear stone ring. Does not cause more damage when you take damage. Once you get down to 20% health, you gain a 50% increase in damage. It is static.

I just want to clarify something on the parry attack on the hollow before sen's fortress what actually happens, you hit a death box and your camera glitches into the death animation, the game then doesn't load sen's fortress because of the glitched camera, letting him walk through the gate but im here for Noah's reaction, what am i saying
He's doing so much damage with the halberd because he's glitching the running attacks to double hit with the sword and halberd animations. Notice he's 2 handing the halberd even though it's equipped in his offhand, this is normally not allowed. @31:48 and @37:04 when he messes up the glitch and has to redo it.
I'm commenting this just after Iron Golem, so I'm not sure If he finds this out later or not, but he didn't seem to notice so imma let him know Notice when he rolls and equips the Warpick just before Iron Golem, if you look in the bottom left of the UI he's two handing it in his left hand? Normally, that's impossible. The fact that he has is part of the move-swap glitch, and is done with a bow (which is why he had one). Basically, with the Estoc rapier in his right hand, the Warpick he's holding gets the running attack animation of the Estoc - which hits twice in rapid succession - while keeping the attack power, and most importantly, poise breaking capabilities of the Warpick (And it keeps the Warpick regular attack, too) to stagger the boss as fast as possible and send him tumbling off the arena. 😀 This was pretty funny to do back in the day with Smough's Hammer. Charging someone down with that and getting those quick hits in was devastating.
I remember being the "one guy who knows how to make atheon and templar fall" and getting spammed by invites when ever i were online. But tbh i cant blame them, ez raid clears.
Fun fact: oscar had way more screentime. He was supposed to guide us to ring the bells and watch us defeat demons and when you relink the fire he would challenge you to death.

I love the fact that you first learn how speedrun is done then watch WR run. You can appreciate it so much more and understand what he's doing.
Pretty sure you put armor on for Nito because he does toxic damage and the armor gives toxic resistance.
In this video he'll use nothing but a spleen to defeat every boss in record time.

Nope, that ring makes you do +50%dmg as long as you are under 20% of your hp. Half the things this guy is saying is wrong
