    Love the birds feet. Do you have any recommendations on adding feet to a bird after the fact? I made a small bird and thought I could add legs and feet after (I didnt know about using wire at the time.)

    • @LivingFelt
      @LivingFelt  4 роки тому +1

      Hi CAS, Balance can be a challenge. If it is low to the ground, try the same method we used for beak and eyes. If the balance does not work out that way, consider running a wire horizontal through the body and creating legs/feet from there. It tends to slide around, so not my favorite method.

    At -31.36 I noticed that the legs on your piece are bent not straight. Why is this? Are we supposed to bend the legs at some point before adding wool to them? I am following along and needle felting at the same time.

    • @LivingFelt
      @LivingFelt  4 роки тому

      Yes, see the part where we laid the quilt ruler on the table and used it to bend the legs :)

    • @ctay122
      @ctay122 4 роки тому

      LivingFelt thank you. I saw where you bent them to make the feet but obviously not the knees.

      If you have a Google account and log in to UA-cam, you can subscribe to the Living Felt channel and have notifications sent to you for live videos. As for commenting, while video is actually live, you can only comment in the Live Chat (which on my computer is to the right of the viewing window). Then, a few minutes after the video is no longer live, UA-cam adds a comment option below the video (where we are now). But they don't have regular comments below the video available while it is live. Hope this helps :-)
