@AlbieAughtie they're a junk footy team, stuck in the mud of the mid table mediocrity Wont be surprised to see them bottom 4 Only thing saving them from getting belted consistently is Ross Lyon and his defensive game plan
It's significantly different. Geelong actually have good, solid young talent coming right now and for the future. The likes of Max Holmes, Jack Bowes,Tanner Bruhnn, Sam De Koning, Oliver Dempsey, Shannon Neale and Ollie Henry. Collingwood by contrast have no real young talent whatsoever other than Nick Daicios and will very likely be rock bottom of the ladder as a result when Tasmania enters the competition in a few years.
In all honesty that's kind of an unfair judgement on a guy who has been a kick away, a draw, and under 3 kicks from winning one. It's the definition of unlucky. Not sure how you can make a statement like that, especially when this is his first rebuild as well. Not sure how you made that conclusion.
He's far from a rebuild coach. He walks into 80% rebuilt teams and finesses the next 15% and falls short of the last 5% for GF. Leaves the club depleted and used up. He inherited good list from Grant Thomas and Mark Harvey

It's a long season, big call to just expect they'll be that good again. And why be so rude just because you disagree with something he says, why make personal attacks and insults?
He said last year multiple times that the Lions couldn’t win a premiership, that we had the wrong coach, that we had the wrong system, that we had the wrong players, everything. He came up with that many reasons as to why Brisbane weren’t good enough that it’s become a proper running joke amongst Lions fans and no vindication was sweeter than when we actually did what he said we couldn’t and won a flag. Biggest flog in AFL media but good for a laugh all the the same 😂

Blues have the most overrated least flexbile no versitility side I've ever seen, Cripps is 30 and Still hasnt learned 1 other position on field, doesnt go behind the ball because he cant set up a team like a Hodge did for eg. And Cripps also cant go behind ball because his ball use isn't good enough to play there. You already know everything about them before you play them and they have a poor culture with a poor coach. You cannot compare that to lists like a Hawks have with a Sam Mitchell at the helm.
Cripps has two brownlow medals and is the best extractor and most consistent player in the comp, WTF would he need to learn another position when he dominates in one of the most influential positions on the ground. Poor culture? what facts can you offer to back that statement up? The Sayers issue has nothing to do with the clubs culture and was of a personal nature. Dont disagree that Voss still has to prove himself but until Mitchell has a premiership medallion as a coach I wouldnt be calling him a messiah either.

@@Tatumstantrum Keep saying that to yourself, at some stage you'll start believing it...
@Roddrummer haha. Touched a nerve i see....lol
Ahh, yes, Kingy with another flog take
Kingy’s list was Fkn terrible .. Fremantle top tier? .. Sydney and Essendon in the same bracket ? Lost the plot
he put port in the same tier as roos. the guy is a certified flog
@ mental
Kane is just an absolute clown, talks positive about other teams but talks negative about Collingwood, typical delusion
Kane with the annual "Saints bottom 4" with zero analysis 🙄
What's there to analyse?
They are a bottom 4-6 team. Mediocrity at its finest
Are u expecting more?
@AlbieAughtie2023 was a fluke and no they did miss Finals by a lot last season. The end result doesn't show it because they pointlessly showed up for the last month of the season. But make no mistake their Finals chances were well and truly buried at least 2 months before the season ended.
@AlbieAughtie they're a junk footy team, stuck in the mud of the mid table mediocrity
Wont be surprised to see them bottom 4
Only thing saving them from getting belted consistently is Ross Lyon and his defensive game plan
god Kingy cant get over hating port
Dogs will fall in a heap.
Collingwood have a better list than Sydney. King is joking
Easily
Fuck no you dont lol You take Daicos out of the pies and it isn't even a finals side ( again ) lol. Go Hawks. And look at the floor when we speak too.
@@HawthornWestMinerals jesus christ man just relax its preseason predictions its meaningless
@ Those pensioners on the list are a real asset lol
@@HawthornWestMinerals Take Heeney out of Sydney last year and they don’t even make top 4, what’s your point?
Now matter how much charity the AFL gives Gold Coast they will always be an average team.
I started looking at their forehead wrinkles and now I can't stop seeing them.
Take a look at Kane’s dad Graham and you get an insight as to where he is headed
Mid season trading is a terrible idea!
Hawks, sadly, to go backwards a little this year - hoping to be proven wrong.
Hawthorn are so overrated.
Will create extra work for the media - croc of shit "mid-season hope".
King will have egg on his face because Sydney will be a top team again. If they can fix their grand final problems they are flag contenders.
My god the age thing look at Geelong no different
Pies have the oldest list in the history of the AFL.
@@camt5216 Mainly based on Pendles at 37
@@michaelebeyer6513 Pies have 12 players over the age of 30 this year. It ain't just Pendles lmao
@@taliamason7986don’t forget baz
Gws have the best list in the comp
Brisbane’s players 25-35 is way better than GWS players 25-35
@wayneperry7413 I agree, but giants have the better best 23
Ross lyon, the never win a flag coach. He is only a rebuild coach. And below, average at that..
If you can be that crap and get paid, I will have a job thanks.
Re read this at the end of the year and King will never work again my God 😮
This flog and not having sydney there. Lmao. They lost the gf yeah. Smashed even. But they have the exact same team. Just more experienced now. King = flog
It's a long season, big call to just expect they'll be that good again. And why be so rude just because you disagree with something he says, why make personal attacks and insults?
What happened the season after they got smashed in a GF last time?
Sorry to say but Sydney won't make the eight
He said last year multiple times that the Lions couldn’t win a premiership, that we had the wrong coach, that we had the wrong system, that we had the wrong players, everything. He came up with that many reasons as to why Brisbane weren’t good enough that it’s become a proper running joke amongst Lions fans and no vindication was sweeter than when we actually did what he said we couldn’t and won a flag.
Biggest flog in AFL media but good for a laugh all the the same 😂
Sorry Sydney, now damaged goods, they got no hope in 2025. I put a grand on them to fall out of top 8. Haha, Sydney loosers 4 grandfinals lost= loosers.
Over rating hawks
Won’t even make 8
Yeah, The Premireship favourites with the Best Coach in football and number one sporting facilities in Australia wont play finals, Dumb fans like you are why we achieve more success than any other club factually. @@HawthornWestMinerals we shall see what happens
Remove North and the Saints from the competition and you can have mid season trades. Otherwise it’s way too Vic biased
Yeh just remove two clubs 🤣 righto champ
@ That’s literally my point. Removing teams wont happen, so there is no point in talking about mid season trade.
If half your teams are in one city and you can’t force player to move then there is no fair version of mid season trades. Nobody is going to accept relocating their family to Perth at short notice
Imagine taking about st kilda for 6 minutes 😂. No one gives a F
Thank you, that's what I was thinking 🤔
Blues have the most overrated least flexbile no versitility side I've ever seen, Cripps is 30 and Still hasnt learned 1 other position on field, doesnt go behind the ball because he cant set up a team like a Hodge did for eg. And Cripps also cant go behind ball because his ball use isn't good enough to play there. You already know everything about them before you play them and they have a poor culture with a poor coach. You cannot compare that to lists like a Hawks have with a Sam Mitchell at the helm.
Cripps two brownlow medals - get a grip.
King, you're full of it , waffle on about rubbish. Help ratings Mr. King let Cornes do the talking. At least what he says is relevant.
I'd rather have mid season trading than mid season draft. The MS draft is pretty useless.
You kidding it been a great thing. Guys like Jai Newcombe, Massimo D'Ambrosio, Sam Durham, Nic Martin, James Peatling, Cooper Sharman, John Noble and recently retired Marlon Pickett probably wouldn't be playing AFL footy right now without it.
