@@MBRBLB I've fought both DoG on Death Mode pre 1.5 and DoGon Malice Death Mode after Draedon Update, and the DoG on Malice is way, way harder than the Death Pre-1.5 version. So no. In fact, most of the bosses are the exact same but harder due to the new difficulty mod. Yharon, for example, has never been this hard either.

I feel your pain, I really do. Dying to DoG at any point past 10% Health always hurts, and 1:35 hurts even more. To share my own experience with DoG, I died right when he hit 0 Health. While it did count as my victory, I was still pissed because it took me forever to find the drops
You should focus more on dodging accesories than defensive accesories, master ninja gear and such, the counter scarf is also perfect as it lets you dash thru the devourer every 20 seconds without taking damage.
lmao the feature when boss have small hp and kills you is so relatable, yesterday i died from devourer of gods and yharon when they had really low hp, and today i did the same but my bosses were exo mechs and calamitas. but i still killed them both and now only boss rush remains!.. ':D

If you can kill polterghast before providence as it can be summoned before providence, and therefore old duke, isn’t the recommended post-polterghast gear possible for pre-prov DoG

@@notveryartificial4486 Imo in Deathmode you should use the cryogen Lore Item, bc it dont uses a slot and you are oneshot anyway so i always run full glasscanon against him. But they will remove the Lore item Effects in dreadon update
murasama and solar armour are very helpfull i would reccomend that ( edit) its worth it because its easy to get in later game and it does tons of damage
Mage doesn't have good DPS weapons pre-Prividence Luckily, post-Polterghast phase of game has Stratus sphere, Venusian trident and Phantasmal fury, those are quite powerful

I’m stuck on providence, since this is my first calamity playthrough I figured out I needed to kill brimstone elemental after I had killed moon lord, so it was easy lol, my closest on providence is 3.9%, I play on controller xd
She is really fun fight, I think, and kind of easy - you just build 4 platforms, 200 blocks each, with 26 block gap. Then you just run in one direction on the top platform, drop down at the end and then run opposite way on the bottom one. If there are some blasts/flames on your way - fly over them, if the platform is heavily obstructed by blasts or flames, use the nearest one instead. When she stops - you dodge her spears/stars(spears are easy - you just fly upwards slowly, in a gap between spear rows, and stars are easier to dodge when in a mid-distance from boss, when there are enough gaps, but stars speed is still low)
@@nerfjanetreal struggle, I think This is the only tough situation that may occur. I try to make guardians spawn immediately after anti-heal-star attack to have enough time to kill 'em before next star attack

RoD would of saved u on all 3 of those close deaths, but u probably would of spent more time getting it than the amount of time it takes to beat DoG

for sentinels u just circle around em and use stormbow 2.0 (the bow from storm weaver)

In my opinion, devourer of gods is harder than providence only if you are using pre providence gear, otherwise I think that providence is much harder.
