Where did you find the airbag cover if you don't mind me asking?

Yes, just pull the pin and replace it with the new paddles

Hi, we found out that the steering wheel was completely faulty. I returned this wheel and reordered a GTI wheel this time and everything works perfectly fine now.
The Airbag just fits in normally off your old steering wheel as i'm going to change my Volkswagen Jetta Steering wheeel to the golf gti steering wheel.? I only need to buy that cover.

did you need any coding or something special for the cruisecontol? because the buttons of the wheels are different and i have the same one you had but im scared to lose cruisecontro and to code it in again
No coding needed. Was just plug & play
@@QasimJPand how about the dsg paddles? How did you connect them since i think you dont have them on the original steering wheel?
@@Kyzjen it’s integrated into the steering wheel so when you plug the airbag in it should work straight away

Bro please how did u connect ur paddle shiffters i need them working on mine how ?
Mine worked right away without any coding. You can also activate them via OBD11
I got a 1.4 mk7 with no paddle shift how can I get them and would it work if I just swap wheel with one with paddle shift ?

No, if it didnt come stock with paddle shifters, sadly it won't work
