Game definitely lived up to the hype. Reverse game later in the month should be great as well Indiana just plays really great team basketball. Make the extra pass, rebound decently, defend well, score off sets vs both man and zone, make the most of transition opportunities. Berger seems like your ideal pg and Holmes is an elite big, good role players as well overall solid team, very well coached Iowa seemed a little rattled. Huge away game so it makes sense, but Indiana are also just the better team to be fair. Iowa couldn't buy a free throw, also looked poor on defense in terms of screening action. Clark is just insane tho. So fun to watch, entertaining, has a bag and a jumper. 20:2415:3428:0912:013:072:5030:21 She's tough
I love South Carolina ball movement and the one three one zone. It stretches the South Carolina big Centers and forwards to challenge the wing shooting from opponents.
Clark, while a great scorer and creative assist player has had 15 turnovers in the last two games giving her opponents an extra chance for 30 additional points. Her team lost to Indiana and she had 8 turnovers, the same amount as her assists.
Your numbers are off. She actually had 10 assists, not 8. But I agree 8 turnovers is obviously too many (particularly against a good team). In the game prior to this one she had 14 assists and 4 turnovers in a 95-51 win. Nothing wrong with that.
When Czinano struggles Iowa doesn't have much support offensively for Caitlin. Warnock was able to hit some shots but that was likely due to the defensive attention on Clark.
Over 4 seasons Warnock is averaging 43.3% on 3 pointers (very elite) and 52% on all field goal attempts. With a percentage that high there has to be more to her making shots than defensive attention on Clark (but it obviously helps as is the case every game). Even with Czinano struggling they would have easily been over 80 points with a normal free throw percentage (and got 78 as it is) against a team that averages 60 points against. The team not including Clark and Czinano got 37 points and would have been about right at their season average of 42 with a normal free throw percentage. The team's biggest problem is almost always defense. That should be enough points to win with a good defensive effort.
I love Kierra Flecther pushing the ball with a purpose and Raven Johnson pushing the pace. It brings another level of play. I like to see Amihere. Cardosa finishing layups.
Amazing! Both these teams will romp UConn unless UConn can put both Azzi Fudd & Caroline Ducharme on the floor at the same time for at least 33 minutes. Of the four UConn guards, Azzi, Caroline, Nika, & LouLou, Caroline is the only one who can run a static offense. Of course, Nika can run a fast break and obviously, Azzi is amazing when there's a jumbled defense, but UConn needs Caroline's floor management & Azzi's shooting right now - by March for sure. The "Board Banging Bunnies" from UConn can't do it alone against a Top 15 Team.
Her free throw percentage says she should have made 4 of those. She was clearly rattled by the crowd. Teri was right to say the crowd helped in the win.
Can’t wrap my head around indiana being number 2 and lsu being 3 but all that won’t matter after Sunday. Iowa cool but Clark does a lot for them without her they not top 10
What do you mean foul trouble?? Indiana getting fouls bc of bullshit calls, while Iowa goes deliberatly in to harm their opponents. Then it's right I guess.

Grace Berger seems to be at her best in the biggest games. She rises. One turnover. One!
This is the best WBB team IU has ever had

Free Throws, Free Throws, Free Throws. Where is the game won and lost?

It's because she has 2 or 3 players on her at all times.
@@danpals7678 Not really. She has no handles.. Lol
@@danpals7678 She just booted more than a few of those turnovers.

When her teammates muff a pass Caitlin gets the turnover. Should be on the passee, not passer. Not a true stat reality.

Amehiere over dribbles into traffic too much and forces too much play
@@anthonytaylor7928 she be starting, she supposed to be the scorer on the second team. She's definitely forcing the action.
Berger is a coach’s dream. WNBA as a 3 or 2 guard.

Hopefullly UCONN recovers next year. They are exhausted.
South Carolina has the potential to take it up 10 decibel.
This is the state of basketball though. Can south Carolina compete with that?
I love the all pink unis
Wow that was a ton of continued praise for Iowa from those commentators. Was a great game though.
It's a shame when an announcer can't see contact from where he's sitting and the rebs can't
0 for 8 on FT? That's not college-worthy.

But she was 5-5 from the field. Probably one of the strangest stat lines you'll see.
Not if you're an old school big man (or post player).
Iowa free throw shooting was difference. I'm fouling Steulke all day!

LSU hasn't played anyone all year.
