When Wallace entered the scene, you said, "Now you're gonna hear him purr," and the video cut to a commercial with a motorcycle revving its engine. I thought MY cat had a loud purr! 😸
I’m so glad you did this video without the use of boxes. Certain planners call for boxes, but bullet journalers and memory journalers generally don’t use functional boxes, only stickers, washi tape, and maybe decorative paper. I’ve resorted to buying only sticker books that do not have boxes in them. But I understand that some people love them.
I always say this, but I love your long videos. They’re so relaxing for me. Since you mentioned it though, I have been wondering about double speed. That’s how I watch most of my UA-cam videos and I’ve been wondering if it influences video revenue because I wanna make sure I’m supporting my UA-camrs. I would appreciate any insight if you or anybody has any. As mentioned before, I always watch the ads because I really want to support the channel. Love your work!
I love how you don't take yourself too seriously and have fun with planning! A breath of fresh air in the planning community since everybody else takes themselves way too seriously. I really appreciate your approach to planning and I had your video in the background while planning the rest of my month (I'm late as always lol).
I love this spread! Great idea with putting colored marker lines for writing appointments, etc in the boxes. Very creative. And I loved hearing Wallace purrrrrr.....😊
I loved this and it’s NOT LONG at all ❤️ I think it shows THE PROCESS, and it’s not always an easy way to plan or decorate your planner. It takes time and it can be very therapeutic if you take the time 🌱🤍
Love, love, love this spread!! The lines are so different and so pretty. I must admit, I sometimes get tired of the boxes and wonder why I even use them. This is a great, fun alternative! Thanks for such an inspiring video! And I love seeing Wallace and Bumble when they pop up on the scene! 💞
I am terrible at keeping plants alive as well. 3 years ago on Mother's Day one of my daughter's bought me a plant that you only have to give it 3 ice cubes once a week and it's still alive!!!
What a creative spread Mary Ellen! I always get so many great ideas from your videos, plus it is so much fun when a kitty or a doggy stops in for a visit! 💜💜
I think it turned out so pretty! When you were talking about the plants were too symmetrical and was going to add more, I started chanting "add more plants, add more plants" . LOL
I love this alternative to boxes! I have been overwhelmed unpacking after moving and you've just motivated me to get some drawers from Ikea and finally unpack and organize my planner supplies!
My parent’s anniversary was May 29 and they also got married in 1965!!! So they just celebrated 59 years, as well 😍 I love Wallace and his little sparse white fur in the middle of a sea of black fur 🥰 This spread turned out so pretty, Mary Ellen❣️
How do you know when I need your inspiration?! 😊 I was struggling to choose June’s layout, and here you are with a gorgeous plan. The stripes and plants are FANTASTIC! I know you weren’t crazy about the stripes along the left edge but I literally yelled “YES” when you started. I usually just take ideas but make it my own, NOT THIS TIME! I love it so much I’m flat out copying it as is. And please pul-LEEEEZE keep all purring and grumbling in the videos. I adore your pets. 😍
I love this! June is my birthday month, and since I'm a plant mom, I wanted to do a plant spread. This video is a sign that I should do what I love in my birthday month! Thanks for the inspiration! And reading my mind. 😅 😊
Writing on top of the colors is actually how I do my planner. I think it looks so neat and pretty. I kept watching and thinking this looks so nice, and that I realized it’s the same as mine. That’s why I like it. Lol! 😂 😆
I love your videos and I love when Wallace visits. His purr is very calming. Also my grandpa was a Wallace aka Wally so he makes me think of him. I miss him a lot! Can’t wait for your next video!
I love this so much. I love how unique this is. I would have never thought to do the lines. I am going to try that in mine but I am sure it will not be as cute as yours. Wallace reminds me of my Piper. As soon as I sit down to do my planner Piper comes and will lay on my pages and then slap my hand.
On days where I can’t or don’t want to put a washing tape or highlighter for extended days, I just write the days below the event. For example, Chicago 26 through 28. It still helps visually.
Love how it turned out! Its so hard to take a risk when you think you might ruin a spread but you went for it! I can’t say I noticed any particular colour changing during the video.
Oh my gosh, I do the same thing (disclaimers)!! I didn't realize it until my daughter pointed it out. I do it regarding gifts, and also FOOD! I'm trying not to, but it's hard. I'm a lot older than you are, so you know what they say...can't teach...etc. Thank you for sharing your thoughts -- I'm sure you are a bright spot in the day for many people! :)
I was so excited to see you had a new video out!! Loud Purrs means HAPPINESS! This video made my day, I love how you decorated this spread, I love it!! Thanks again Mary Ellen, you have been so missed😊❤
Hi, Mary Ellen! I’m from Chicago. I strongly recommend visiting the Art Institute downtown. It is a fine institution with a fantastic collection of Impressionists' work. There are also a lot of Van Goghs. Try Chicago deep dish pizza. Gino's East on the near north side has great deep dish pizza (I’m getting hungry). There are also Lou Malanati's pizza at various locations. You might want to try Chicago hot dogs with the works if you are so inclined. You can also visit Sear's Tower skyscraper. I think it is called Willis Tower now. But I’d recommend the Art Institute as a must-see. I’ve never been to a art museum that rivals it. The weather will likely be spring-like or early summer. You are visiting at the best time of year weather-wise. Let me know how you like it, if you remember.
omg I love Chicago, my daughter lives there and we visit A LOT. You have to eat at Greek Islands, Beatrix, Manny's, and Shaw's Crab House. Sooooo good. Andersonville is a nice little neighborhood with little shops and a bakery, also a stationery store called Paper and Pencil. Also if you like pizza, Lou Malnati's is very good. I'm so excited to be an ambassador for Chicago. I love it Have Fun!!
If you like popcorn, get some from Garrett Popcorn! I went to the one at Navy Pier and got some of the Garrett Mix (cheese and caramel together) and some buttery. It's a staple!
Once again, I was so excited to see your video posted. I’m off today and I got up and made tacos and grabbed my planner and watched. Perfect morning! Thank you for being you.
Absolutely love this spread! Wallace’s purrr was so sweet. Definitely get you some plants 🪴 do some research on easy to care for ones that’s what I’m doing.
Have fun in Chicago!! I'm from there and I miss it so much! My recommendation is you have to eat at Lou Malnati's. Their deep dish pizza is the best. The Art Institute of Chicago is beautiful and has lots of famous pieces, and you can usually find a Chicago hot dog cart outside to get the most authentic kind. There's the Bean, which is iconic, and Sears (Willis) Tower of course. If you like space, the Alder Planetarium is small and lots of fun, right on Lake Michigan. Its a great place to have a picnic if the weather is nice.
I love the way it came out! I kinda like the lines instead of boxes after seeing how the finished layout looks, less “boxy”. I will definitely try it! Thanks for the inspiration!
I lived just north of Chicago for several years. The Field Museum and the Shedd Aquarium were always a couple favorite things to do. Go early, they are huge and it'll take quite awhile to get through them.
Mary Ellen you are so cute! I’m at the beginning of the video but if you don’t call this planters and planners I’m gonna be disappointed. 😆 I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before, but I really think you are a type nine Enneagram. If you haven’t heard of the Enneagram before, it’s a personality test and it’s really helpful in sorting out things about your stress and happiness and goals. I really recommend looking into it it’s super enlightening.
oh, I love how you do more than just stickers ;) I rarely use markers like that in my spreads, and I have so many of them, lol. It really is a beautiful spread! And I also have birthday on the 24th of june :D
I love hearing Wallace's purrs
He’s a loud one! 😍
It turned out so cute. Love how Wallace joined in on the planning.
I just love Wallace purrs and Bumble grumbles. I’m glad you are back. I love this so much.
When Wallace entered the scene, you said, "Now you're gonna hear him purr," and the video cut to a commercial with a motorcycle revving its engine. I thought MY cat had a loud purr! 😸
😂
Wallace's purr is so relaxing. Adorable spread.
Wallace's purring is everything ❤
“I don’t love the quote but the quote loves this space” … I thought I was the only person who thinks like that when placing stickers 😅
🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️

Thanks for that! I doubt double speed affects anything
My parents' anniversary is in June too. 66 years!! They set a wonderful example for our family. Love this monthly spread.
I love how you don't take yourself too seriously and have fun with planning! A breath of fresh air in the planning community since everybody else takes themselves way too seriously. I really appreciate your approach to planning and I had your video in the background while planning the rest of my month (I'm late as always lol).

Another fun, innovative and inspirational spread. Thank you for sharing your ideas. And Wallace purring. 🥰🥰🥰
Such a lovely spread! Oh my goodness Wallace purr was simply adorable … that is one soothing sound! ❤
I'm so tired of the news... Thank God for your videos of just regular mellow stuff I'm gonna plan and binge watch planner videos
I love hearing Wallace purr. Makes me want a cat. Beautiful spread.
I LOVE how this turned out. I would have never thought to do the lines like that. The colors worked perfectly together.

I thought my cat Bruti was sitting on the back of my chair behind my head when I heard the purring! I love your fur-baby Wallace!❤🦋
I'm here for the Wallace purrs and the Bumble grumbles! As usual, your spread is gorgeous.
Your planning is so therapeutic and realistic. So glad I stumbled upon this.
Thank you so much!
59 years God Bless Them! I am working on 27 years this August. Please tell them Congratulations!
Lovely spread, and I love "plans and plants" but I looooooove that purr even more. This could become a whole new thing! Planning and purring!
Love the layout! And the snort you hear coming from California is me watching Wallace insert himself into the video.
What a creative spread Mary Ellen! I always get so many great ideas from your videos, plus it is so much fun when a kitty or a doggy stops in for a visit! 💜💜

So glad you did a video. Long, hard day and depression and your videos and voice always make me smile. Sorry to much info. Thank you for your channel!
I'm so glad my videos can be that for you ❤️
Same! Got home from work, slept for 3 hours, and now I have something soothing to watch.
I kept watching until the end because of Wallace 😊
I think it turned out so pretty! When you were talking about the plants were too symmetrical and was going to add more, I started chanting "add more plants, add more plants" . LOL
I love love the STRIPES for writing in stuff!! What a great new idea 👍🏻🤗🌼
I love this alternative to boxes! I have been overwhelmed unpacking after moving and you've just motivated me to get some drawers from Ikea and finally unpack and organize my planner supplies!
I love the idea to use markers for making lines instead of boxes! That will be coming up in my planner!
Chicago! I’d recommend House of Blues, Navy Pier and a boating tour of the architecture ❤ Chicago style pizza is a must.
My parent’s anniversary was May 29 and they also got married in 1965!!! So they just celebrated 59 years, as well 😍
I love Wallace and his little sparse white fur in the middle of a sea of black fur 🥰
This spread turned out so pretty, Mary Ellen❣️
I like it a lot too, purrs and all.
Love this! Your videos make me smile 😊. And I loved Wallace’s appearance and his sweet purrs. He seems like a sweet boy 🩷
He’s a big lover boy
When you go to Chicago, be sure to try Giordano's for deep dish pizza! Thank me later. 😊
This has to be one of my all time favorite monthly spreads! 🎉

This inspires my to do my June monthly, and I never do monthlies. I love it!
Wallace's purrs are so cute!! And the spread turned out so great, nice job!
This spread is so soothing
I love this so much. I love how unique this is. I would have never thought to do the lines. I am going to try that in mine but I am sure it will not be as cute as yours. You inspired me. I used highlighters in my monthly spread also. I love the way it turned out. Thanks for the inspiration! 😊
Cute! Happy Anniversary to your parents!
I know I’m watching this so late, but that you were there for that conference. It is a fun one. Last year’s was in Vegas.
Love this spread!
Love how it turned out! Its so hard to take a risk when you think you might ruin a spread but you went for it! I can’t say I noticed any particular colour changing during the video.
I worked hard on my end to match the colors in editing. May need to switch my background up again or figure out something
@@PlanningwithBumble What a shame when you already work so hard on your content! ☹️
I really like this spread and your idea for replacing the boxes. I will have to try this.
I LOVE how this turned out!!!
I love this too!! I’m excited to do some stripes in my own planner for June. Thanks for another grey tip and super cute spread, Mary Ellen! 🙌❤️
Your videos are never boring🥰
Thank you 🥰
Love how this turned out! I enjoyed Wallace's appearance. I have 2 cats and their purring is very calming and relaxing.
I really like how this one turned out! So different! I enjoyed listening to Wallace ~ the purring was actually very relaxing. 😄
Really love your monthly layout design! Also thanks for the awesome heartwarming purrs while I work on my planner

I just did it today when I brought deviled eggs to a party 🙈
Love how this turned out!!!!
I love the purring
Def do the Architectural Boat Tour while in Chicago. If you like zoos, the Lincoln Park Zoo used to be nice but I haven’t been in 20+ years.
Your cat is a plant whisperer- purrs.
I was so excited to see you had a new video out!! Loud Purrs means HAPPINESS! This video made my day, I love how you decorated this spread, I love it!! Thanks again Mary Ellen, you have been so missed😊❤

I love this spread so much. Gave me the Inspo I was looking for
Oh my gosh, your spread is really cute, but Wallace stole the show today! I love his carefree purring.

I love the purrrr❤. Thanks again for a great spread!
Loove all your vids but wallace's purr was everything for me this time haha.

aloe and Christmas cactus are both easy to keep alive in your house. you can forget to water them for a month and they will be fine.
Good to know, thanks!
I love the way you did the highlights. So glad you are back .
Love this! I want to incorporate this. So pretty
Go to Old Town it’s a great place to visit and enjoy a great meal

Omg! If you are coming to Savannah you have to come see me! I do ghost tours.. not scary but interesting. I would love to meet you😄
Love it!
