I’m going to start a monthly Currently Page!! I’m new to all of this- I watch you all the time and am learning a lot. The Currently pages are a perfect way to have a memory making journal of what is going on in our lives! I LOVE your pages! Watching your videos relaxes me so much 🌸
I love how you say this looks messy. Your spreads look incredible! Keep going with the inner critic, trust that you’ll learn to actively listen and selectively ignore the detrimental parts.
I’ve been meaning to comment but I keep forgetting….i have ADHD too so I kinda enjoy the sporadic posting and thoughts. It’s how my brain works so I totally follow all of it. Anyway….keep being yourself. If you try and cater to others for how you think they want you to be…you won’t be as authentic. So make your videos; let those creative juices flow. I just know for ME…I’m my most creative when I’m being myself and I fail miserably when I try and please others or do it the way I THINK people want me to be. I know you know all this already…I just wanted to be a voice that said I prefer the randomness:) in case there are fellow ADHDers that don’t get around to commenting too. We like your authenticity. ❤
Here’s your encouragement Mary Ellen - with the money you are saving by not drinking alcohol and what you could save by canceling your Y membership, you can afford the personal training that was working for you. Physical activity also supports mental health which is your other big investment. You deserve to feel fit and healthy 😘
I was going to say the exact same thing. Feeling fit and healthy is worth the sacrifice of other things. I’ll bet you can find other things to cut back on. But I understand the hesitancy with pricey training. Hugs ❤
Your Summer Beach spread is beautiful, and this sticker book is gorgeous! I would do an aquarium at the bottom the page using the washi you used and add some boxes, fishes, turtle... If I do it I will send a pic for you to see it.
I love it! And I'd like to share an idea I saw somewhere (unfortunately I don't remember where). It is to do a "washi scrap" page. You just add this title in the middle of the page and surround it with all the scraps. It looks good when it's done and you're not wasting any washi anymore.
Oh, I'm so terrible with the beating myself up. And I just did it again - I called myself terrible! I'm also working on it with a therapist, but your videos and beautiful spreads help. 😊
Very pretty. Love the color combination. Every time I watch you draw your own boxes I think I can do that but I don't. I can't draw straight lines and I don't know if I could overlook it. Maybe one of these days I'll try it.
I know what you mean about the dashboard/big vertical struggle. I love the big vertical, it’s so satisfying. I have the big camping one to start in July, it’s so cute and makes me happy. I have a dashboard that I just scribble out plans on and lists etc, but I don’t decorate. I decorate the big vertical and use it just to record happy memories etc from the week
Absolutely Beautiful!!! Your free-hand drawing with such precision is amazing. I watch your videos late at night and the sound is always muted. So I get to appreciate your spreads without knowing what you're saying about what you're doing. I LOVE IT!
I would be interested to see how you use a classic vertical spread. I think it is the hardest layout to use because it is too small to go “sticker crazy” like the Big vertical or doesn’t seem as functional as the classic dashboard. I am currently using the classic dashboard for planning and the Big vertical for fun - this combo helps with my “Planner Peace!” Also - trying finding a personal trainer at your Y. Not only are they very encouraging; but they can give you exercise plans for the time when you aren’t meeting. (I meet w/ my trainer every other week; but am at the Y 2 to 3 times per week working out on my own.)
Here's an idea! What if you talk with your therapist while you're on the treadmill? I'm kinda kidding, but not really. It's so hard to find the time to do all of the things that are good for us. You can do it. This spread is super cute!
Love the spread, I can't believe how much alike I am, the brain fog, talking about something and in the middle of it start talking about the other things in your head and it ends up that no one knows what you're talking about LOL. I think the only difference is I'm 57 😅😂,if I didn't laugh I'd cry. Love your 'no edit ' videos it shows the real you. Never change it's one of the reasons I subscribed to your channel.❤❤
Great spread Mary Ellen, I love the colors and summery vibes! 😍 In relation to your discussion in this video, have you read the book Atomic Habits by James Clear? It was a very helpful one for me in trying to create and stick to good habits in my lifestyle and offers a different way to look at these things we call habits 😊
@@PlanningwithBumble I also had some issues. A lot of Pilates instructors are previous dancers or Physical Therapist. That made a huge difference. Working one on one helped so much and some are fairly priced.(:

The YMCA should have a personal trainer you can get for a discount. Mine has a women on weights class I keep saying I am going to do!
Could you see if there is a personal trainer at the ymca? There was one the last time I went to mine.
