Ceiling Fan Teardown @ MKE Gadgets #174
A client gave me an old ceiling fan. It was unused and not needed anymore. I thought it was a good candidate for a teardown. If you ever see a ceiling fan along the side of the road or you have an old one, please don’t put it in the garbage take it to the scrap yard and you might make it a dollar or so. Or better yet take it apart and see how it works and see what parts you can harvest I always like the wire nuts switches and light sockets. Enjoy

I cant believe you are throwing the fan blades and mounts away. You can make a Dragonfly lawn ornament out of those.
