Maybe Mrs survival Russia could do a video on food shopping/pricing in Moscow? Those kinds of videos seem to be popular these days, plus it would be interesting to show the price difference between Moscow and rural Russia. Good luck with the tank's tank.
Dry off the tank with solvent( brake cleaner, petrol etc.) then wipe over with something powdery. Flour, talc etc. That will show up the leak.
Bit over complicated, just get some soapy water, put it all over the tank then use a air compressor to put some preasure in the tank and look for where it is bubbling.
If it's functional, Putin will take it for the spezial military operation.

..prices of consumer goods in different countries are of interest, especially with household costs here in Canada that are zooming. My monthly pension cheque would go a long way over there, at least for domestically-produced products and services...
At $250 a week, working, I retired and got 1000 a month social security. Wow, good deal. No chance for a raise. $30 a week for groceries was enough. Now? I go to the grocery store to window shop. $1 bread, now $4. Meat, forget it. Get mad and go home. Ah! The good life.

Now if you want HOT DOGS though, you might pay nearly $8 for 375 gr. at regular price.

I would love to see a walk around of Moscow with the narration of you and Mrs.SurvivalRussia. Narration in the sense of, "What does Mr./Mrs.SurvivalRussia think of the way things go in the city. What UA-cam does with adds and revenue and algorithms really sucks. What I often do with your videos because after 10 years you are still my favorite channel, I will go way back to your older videos and just let them play while I'm sleeping. It is not uncommon for me to wake up for a piss at 4am and have a survival Russia video playing on the bedroom tv still. I will quite often watch the same video multiple times over a period of time just because they are good and I enjoy them.

The Monetization Program turns UA-camrs into beggars. That and it is effective at getting UA-camr's to follow their guidelines; Doing as they are told and speaking only what they are allowed.
content creators wouldn't have to beg if UA-cam actually took the time to not only leave the algorithim alone but actually took time to fix it and the litany of issues that plague this platform like false copyright strikes

Would be cool to city footage of Moscow, the shops, the so called main shopping area if possible. Maybe prices of shoes and regular item. Would ALSO be cool if you could show land prices, house prices, cost of electricity and stuff like that. :-)

good to see you got snow this year, we had little to no snow in Northern michigan. normal is 130 inches, next to nothing, no ice on lakes, weird weather. couldnt even go snowmobiling this year.

For the general public this days, its more and more difficult to distinguish between the paid by the advertisers or companies "youtubers" and the genuine guys. You do what you do and if people like it - good, if not, you know what to do! What you do the other channels can not just repeat as it often happens with advertising "youtubers" AND they beg the most!

I had to replace a fuel pump on my truck, and the only way to get to it was either remove the bed OR cut a spot out of the bed where the pump is. I opted for the later. The bed on the truck is so rusted that it's damn near impossible to remove the bolts. I feel you on that pump, Lars! Why can't manufacturers leave an access port to easily get to the pump!?

The content creators should receive the biggest share of revenue. You tube may be the best platform presently but hopefully more competition from Rumble and others grows so that creators have more choices.

Is the Hermitage open to the public and can people video inside? A tour of it would be amazing. Back in the 90's there was an exhibition at a museum in Delaware with all kinds of treasures from the last Tsar and the Hermitage including Katherine's golden carriage and many paintings. It was unbelievable.
I went there in 2018. Most of it was open. Not sure about now due to the war

People don’t understand UA-cam censorship. I belong to a Patreon channel that we pay for. The host does private video training on camper restoration. All he said on our private class was that the new wood screws made in China are junk!. It is just the plain truth, but UA-cam warned him to stop or there would be consequences, which is ridiculous on a private, paid channel. I’m sick of it all.

Does I watch what I want when I want and if I don't like it I don't watch it and if I don't like it I will comment on it and tell him what's wrong. But other than that now good your back. Well, Unfortunately that's the way, ALL media channels including YT make money. Either by Advertising for corporations, and "institutes", or by subsidies from the state, who then ofc influence the "Narrative" so to say. Sad to see, that Google is not yet "wealthy" enough.

That way, you both may benefit from double-view counts and subscribers? I, for one, would be interested in hearing what sorts of different/same ingredients are available in Russia and what the average food costs are. I would be very interested in learning any family recipes from Denmark or local Russian recipes, as well as any local tweaks that are done to flavor it in different ways. I just love food, so anything would be interesting to me.

Lars, I've enjoyed watching you for many years. You can't trust everything you hear on internet. It seems a number of the bushcrafters, campers, survivalists, at least the ones I watch, are slowing down a bit. Don't know if it is funding or not, or maybe life events just happen, or the enthusiasm is slowing a bit, a bunch of you guys have been at it for a while.
Maybe they tire, or maybe (for some) the legacy of many videos allows them to ease off a bit. It seems a number of them are doing more of a maintenance pace. Maybe the merch and other streams might be providing more. I just don't know, the income streams are so diversified, and I guess everyone is trying whatever they can. It is hard for me to tell. Are YTers sufficiently fraternal that others in your field would explain (off line) what streams are lucrative and which not, or is it so cut-throat that everyone feels desperate and not willing to talk. I've seen a number of guys I valued, just seemed to disappear.
Good friend of mine, many years ago, he and I worked together, and he explained, things evolve in cycles. The courtship, the marriage, and the divorce. The blush of youthful enthusiasm when everything's new and exciting, middle age where ya carry the burdens of life, family, and getting things done, then post middle age, when things start getting more difficult, endurance starts to whither, and support systems start needing more maintenance with fewer and fewer resources, and ya make a break, and look for an alternate path.
So I guess the question is where in the process do you think the various elements are? The enthusiasm, the excitement, or is it the plodding drudgery, or is it just that things are breaking down, to the point ya can't fix 'em as fast as they break?
Is there such a thing as downloading copies of all your videos, setting up a server yourself, and letting folks request downloads of the video files, and they buy you a coffee or two, ya give them a numerical key and they can download some number of videos during a month period. Right now, I understand it's 100 rubles to the dollar, so it's not really a great opportunity there, but maybe those better off may be willing to share their good fortune not so painful to them, and prosper you as you may have a lower cost of living there. Lars, I gotta wish you a bunch of good luck. It sounds like "A tough row to hoe" so to speak, but you certainly have proven yourself and your family to be pretty hearty Survivors, under some fairly tough circumstances. Am sure it is not easy. I followed this channel for a long time and said some “unjust” things towards Lars, basically to do with the war. As time has gone on, it’s obvious that anyone that doesn’t want the war and speaks out is chastised! So someone with thousands and thousands of viewers, it would be suicidal to cast his opinion “either way” ……so will continue follow lars for great content!
