Hey Oege, i had a question about getting the CA dealer license. For the retail dealer, can my location be a decent size shed with a dirt lot indicating exclusive parking? it will have an office and solely be used for the dealership i just don’t want to lease it if it will not get approved when they come to approve it. I do believe the shed and dirt lot is ok, it really depends on the area. The city has to have that area zoned for dealers. Are there others retail dealers in the area ? You definitely don’t want to lease it DMV will not approve but I have seen dealers on dirt lots. Maybe try to Google the zip and check the zoning.
Bro, great content, i got a pair of salvage cars for me from Arizona loctaion iaa as a "available to public" and did all the process, repair, get a smog, inspection of brakes and lights, chp inspection, to finally get new ca plates and title, my question.. how is the process to sell this as Dealer, first you have to get a ca title before and do the papework to transfer to the buyer? if there is a way yo contact you, i will appriciate couse im in the process to get my dl. thanks.
Yes so you can apply for title then sell it when you get the title . Once you submit all your paperwork for title it can be about 14 days to receive title .
