It was such an awesome surprise to see Leonard Nimoy at my daughter's graduation. Congrats to my daughter and all the graduates and good luck to you all. Live long and prosper.
My dad grew up during the war in Italy and after he came to America in the early 50.s he told me stories of Jewish guys that helped him and that he helped they were kindred spirits. there was no racism or hate for anyone in my family. In the house where I grew up. Just respect for every human being
Loved his poetry and photography of the 1970's when i was in my early to late teens. I bought his books at a local 5 and Dime. His work, and his essence, set for me the standard of what to look for in life; the philosophy thereof... and what to hope for in finding romance someday. This all happened for me as a 14 year old. I learned black and white photo developing and how to be creative with it. He was the inspiration for this! I loved his spark, off beatness, and sweet attempt at singing. I felt such a kinship with him. He got me through my teen years..like a virtual mentor. I loved him for that. Got to meet him once in spring of '78 at the Syracuse Civic Center. I also loved Star Trek. Thank you Leonard Nimoy.🖖
I could cry after watching this. That man was a part of my life from the moment I first saw him as a 5 year old. His "Live Long and Prosper" at the end is so iconic. That is his creation and it will live on forever. I'm 53 now and I love Star Trek TOS. I always will. Thank you Leonard Nimoy, for entertaining me.
Awww...so touching, real, heartfelt, inspiring and informative to the soul of any seeking sojourner ready to blaze some trails in one's life!! Loved hearing his own story and testimony!! Love and miss you Leonard Nimoy!!!! A speech for all time and for any college graduation!!! A gift.
Great speech and I think with any form of human endeavour there will be struggle He fought and won but as you can see here he then has another battle to deal with, his health, For me Leonard Nimoy =Quality yeah that's it Quality
Everyone watchin this should watch the doc by his son. For the love of Spock. It's got some intimate clips, well not really cos Leonard was in family life as he was in public. Star Trek has never seen the like. 4 of the main cast remaining. Bill Shatner, Walter Koenig, George Takei, and the wonderful Nichelle Nicols there will never be a series like it again. Full of diversity, all creeds and colours. Remeber that kiss between Uhura and Kirk that was so taboo in the 1960's? And so yer lets remake it with women in charge. Awesome choice.
Hearing this man speak, even years after his passing, is so inspiring
Really enjoyed hearing Leonard Nimoy's speech. He is so very missed and it is good to hear him again.
