I had a used one on my Focus st but sold it after a year. Bought a Vega spoiler extension and had it on the car for over a year but it worked the screws out and chipped up my spoiler. Gonna buy a new one to complete my maxton add on’s. (Splitter and rear RS look bumper valance (RS look))

Wow that is a beautiful car I’m hoping to be able to purchase one after the ex wife gets out of my wallet this November 26. I like the mods but I will be riveting mine to this boiler because in the past when I was doing this to a Mazda three the 3M tape even using new tape not what was sent with the part things wanted to lift off her come undone at speed because I Race my cars. So it will be riveted to the spoiler which does give it that good mechanical look like a racecar great video thank you for the information and you are a fellow Texan and i like that. I’m from Shepard Texas which is north of Houston.

lifted off because of heat gun. warping the mold

Hi, the car looks great! Very smart :-) I’ve got the spoiler lip and will get a heat gun following your advice as it just doesn’t sit right from the factory. I just wanted to check, do you heat it while it’s resting on the spoiler itself, then stick it with the tape afterwards? I’m worried about heating it on the spoiler itself so as not to damage the spoiler, is it ok?

Just generally get the spoiler warm and more plyable on those corner areas before attempting to stick . You’ll notice it kinda sticks off the rounded area and not lay flush to the car .. clean clean clean and prep the surface very well and you’ll be good .

i bought a spoiler cap from maxton for my f20 bmw, it is rubbish!!! only one side is gloss finish as requested, and other side is terrible (no finish all) even it is highly visible on eye level.

yes, i did that, no problem there, they have great customer support and refubnded me straight away,, it is shame that even they have the best designs in the market, the quality is terrible.

These maxton add ons are just about passable on black cars. On any other colour car it literally looks like the car has been driven through halfords covered in superglue.
