I only got it because of Vagabond 2 is slowly dieing and I die cut lots and lots and have had this one 6 years and my first Vagabond lasted 7 hears and the one after that I broke it so got the Vagabond 2 and LOVE it but your new Switch Plus is the perfect go to. This is the best machine ever for people like me & others who has rheumatic diagnosis or any kind of pain diagnosis, CRPS, EDS fibromyalgia etc. I couldn't handle my Big Shot anymore, so this machine gave back my quality of life.....can't work.😔 I'm watching this video 2024 in February. Bought my Switch last year in February....my Birthday present. I still have my Big Shot but it's in my closet, where a lot of stuff is that doesn't have a place in my studio. I need to know how the magnetic platform should be handled with the Switch.....sorry but I'm getting old'...er & my memory lost the ability to charge the batteries I ones had - lol. Anyone who knows...Tim? Thank you so much for a fabulous instruction video, helped me a lot.🥰
Thank you for the great information in such a common sense way. I love my Vagabond and wondered what the benefits of getting one of the new machines would be. It's a significant cost outlay for something I may not need.
@@KDubTwin2 yes I did get the Switch and LOVE it! Can't believe what a great machine it is. It sits on my counter and is used frequently. Love that you can feed the machine and it automatically grabs the sandwich and pulls it in then all you do is hit the switch button and it reverses coming back out the front. Well worth the $$. 😊
Very informative! I got my TH Switch for Christmas as a gift from my hubby. I liked using it until it held onto my plates and won’t release. They won’t budge, power on but machine is frozen. Is there a way to get them out? Do sensors go bad on the switch? I have contacted sizzix because it’s under warranty but they don’t respond.
Sorry you’re having trouble with your Sizzix Switch machine. I can only suggest to please keep trying to contact customer service through their website or message them on social media.
I am a happy new owner of this fantastic switch machine. I am glad I invested two hours to watch your video. It is really well explained, I learned a lot and you have been a great inspiration for me. I tried it a shorter way before (in German), omg it was wasted time. And Tim...I love you for your scissors, daily ;-))) Tim, today I have been ordering this B-plate but to be honest, what do I need it for? I thought for embossing but would I be better off with with a chrome position base plate?
Watching this a year later as I'm now in the market for a new die cut machine...Definitely sticking with Sizzix...my trusty little Big Shot is still going strong but I would like the larger base. Do I stick with manual Big Shot Plus or go with the Switch? Such a dilemma! Absolutely best video on this machine, Tim! Thanks...
I just bought a switch and so far I love it. I'll still use my trusty big shot but watching him emboss a card front without folding the card around the plate convinced me even more that I'm going to love the switch.
I learned not to use reverse with smaller plates that are warped it killed my machine. It got hung up it the machine and you can’t turn it off and I could get the cord fast enough to unplug it! Just keep this in your memory banks!
M’y small plates got stuck a few days ago. My brand new thin dies were warped beyond use…first time I used them! I finally wrestled the plates from the back of the machine. Scared me so much that it was ruined! I wont use old warped plates again!

So happy the vide helped. Sizzix does not recommend using the Magnetic Platform with the Switch.

Can you use the heart felt creations flower molds in this machine? I know you can in the vagabond

Did anyone get an instruction/registration sheet with the machine? I did not. Who do I talk to?
The machine should have come with instructions, you can contact Sizzix directly via their website.
