Truthfully it is just way too suspicious for this not to be a arson. We need to keep Buffalo's historic buildings.

City of Buffalo putting a lot of effort into saving this, where was that effort back in the day, when they tore down Frank Lloyd Wright's Larkin Building? Maybe the politicians (Brown) ought to get their heads out of their asses, and let him demo the building with the understand that he rebuilds using that 'Cobblestone' design/thyme/feeling, on the ground floor! You have a developer that wants to do something in Buffalo, and these idiots are fighting him? Remember this shit come election time!

Just tear it down. Is it a beautiful building? Clearly, no. Is it old? Yes. I am basically for preserving historic buildings but these two buildings would have been torn down for a football stadium so l say just take them down and build an apartment building with first floor retail. Heck, you could have a small historic novelty store selling the bricks that came down. A win win situation. But the only ones who would buy the bricks are those in the Buffalo Historic Preservation Society or whatever it's called. Anyway and finally, if you're God fearing I think He was giving Buffalo a message. The building owner owns it so let him do what he pleases. Rebuild Buffalo and get out of the past.

Listen, my Uncle did antique restorations. The most important thing he taught me is, there is a huge difference between an antique and old junk. This building is worst than old junk. Stop wasting money on this BS.

Stabilize , protect the remnants and then once cleared out by courts rebuild to use it a a real historical cultural and museal center with food amenities and conference rooms. Condos are so passé, inefficient, and they do not sell at all being too small (367 sq foot versus 2000 square foot for a house.) and too expensive nobody has that money to afford a condo. developers are so outmoded outpassed and out of the box for urban development it brings tears to my eyes to listen to their greedy blobs. They even do not make money with these 55 floors towers 3/4 empty most of the times.

Why do we need to save every building in this city? We’re talking about spending millions just to stabilize for a rebuild. Let us have a new building.
