Hey Fik-Shun! Huge fan. You, Nonstop, Poppin John, and other dancers I see on UA-cam give me large amounts of inspiration on me wanting to dance. I am just a 17 year old with a partial weight problem (5'10 235-240lbs), and Autism (on a minor scale, not that serious, but it's kinda noticeable on some levels), and I'm not double jointed at all. Even with that, I have huge hopes in myself practicing freestyle dancing. I do it in my privacy so I won't get any hatred for trying to do so. I've been practicing and trying for roughly 6 months. In that time, I got results, improving on my freestyling than I did 6 months ago. I can't really do special moves, because again I'm not double jointed, but I can still have practice to dance.
I appreciate it if you read this, you and several other dancers are what keep me up and alive! :)

My mother said that too: with dance you can't get money for a house and other stuff. I'm NOT going to stop because i believe in my dreams.. I still go dancing and dancing.. i'm learning new things (even when i don't take lessons) And my dream is to become a real dancer, i always wanted to be a real dancer. And i won't give up, even when people say: you suck at it. Thank you fikshun🙏💜✌

Crazy thing is that alot of parents don't back their kids dreams. My parents are straight outta africa so the only way the knew to get success was through the school system. People in Africa aren't really out there becoming huge artist that much so hearing their son say that hes gonna do that scares them. I originally wanted to be a writer at a young age, but my parents really convinced me that I wasn't going to make any money doing that and ever since I stopped taking writing seriously. But luckily we have this thing called the internet. People can share their stories across the globe. Its like a window to the world. Most of what I learned about life wasn't in classrooms or even from my parents, but through youtube and people sharing information. So fik-shun, I want to formally thank you for taking the place of my parents and letting me know its possible. I now have the mindset of "fuck what you say, you don't know me better than me" and its thanks to countless artist on the internet and just soul searching in general. So please make more vids like this, because so many people hate on us dancers like were only good for backgrounds. Well who do they think comes up with the choreo that their favorite rappers use? And many dancers including yourself are known by name, and not some nameless background dancer (respect to them tho still). And what they don't realize is that dance is a language that is understandable by all. I don't need a translator to tell me that gliding and waving looks sick as fuck haha. As long as their is music, theres gonna be dance.
I used to be really into dance and I loved it it was a passion but there were people who said I was good and others who said I was bad and I understand what fikshuns saying and honestly I regret giving up my passion because I didn't have that mindset and I honestly don't think I have still it was mostly because in my area not many people danced not many people enjoyed dancing so when I kinda started doing it I guess everyone's feedback sunk into my head and unlike fikshun my parents weren't that supportive of it they wanted me to pursue what they thought was a real career and honestly looking back now I know now that I shouldn't have listened to what they said
Nate Abreu aw mate im sorry, i guess it really is about motivating yourself cuz even someones parents arent gonna give them the drive they need to continue doing what theyre good at. The only coach you have is yourself, i think that if it really is something youre meant to do, itll come up in the future or in a time of your life that youll want to continue doing it.
He is such a great dancer, and seems like a great person too. Kudos to him for making this video, I hope he continues to make videos!

i used to get people telling me that i look stupid when i dance as a joke to not make me feel as bad 😂. but ever since i started watching you dance , i dont know why but it made me want to dance exactly like you and now ive been dancing for 4 months and people actually say im a good dancer and that im improving . so thank you fikshun! i just learn by watching you and dytto dance . people never believe me that all i do is watch you and dytto dance to learn lmaoo

Fikshun, I dunno if you'll ever read this but as an aspiring dancer I really love that you put this video out, I've been a fan for a couple years now and to hear words of serious truth from you is really just inspiring. I mean I know a lot of dancers can say the same but it means a lot when the one saying it is somebody whose style you admire so much! Keep killing it man, you're great!

Hello Fik-Shun. I recently started dancing. Sometimes I love it and sometimes I don't, but I'm never bored. I can dance for many many hours without getting bored. I'm not sure if it's my true calling and passion. Did you ever have doubts like these or did you always love every second of dancing? If you had them how did you break through?

Do videos on how to perform your dance moves techniques and how to work ur body to have the ability to do it. I'm sure u have a strong core looking at ur moves and also with ur foot work maybe u work ballet or something. Hey, thank you for this. To be honest, I've been dancing for about 4-5 years and I feel like I've leveled up but only a bit because it's hard for me to figure out what I wanna do when I lab. Like I know what I need to fix, but, how do I go about fixing it? It's stressful trying to teach yourself by watching other people dance and taking bits and pieces from other styles and areas of dancing to form something new. Idk how I can do it but I will figure out a way and this video has helped me to rekindle the passion I have for dance again.

Fik shun i have a questions for you and it is regarding dance moves. I don't get how do you create new crazy moves (standing on the tip of your shoe) every single time, it is impossible for me to come out with crazy moves because i just don't have that creative mind, i even try to dance to every single beat of the music like you but i can't! it is impossible. You have that unique talent that's why you are so good at dancing, wish you all the best and hopefully there well be more of these videos because i love it..XD

Wow, great video. It didn't quite help me because I already know what I can do but yeah, true words haha xd. fyi I don't dance but I really like your dancing so I just subscribed...Did not expect this kind of video. I never thought "I can't do it" or "This is not possible" cause you can actually do pretty much everything if you work hard enough, like talent almost doesn't matter. I often build a ton of confidence just by working hard. Sadly, most people I know are just too lazy or like you said "not believing" and then they just make up excuses. Hopefully that helped you to make another video (although I'd like to see some street dancing haha)

Fik-shun i'm 16 years old and you inspired me to dance but my mum tells me its too late for me and if i wanted to dance i needed to start earlier. +luka lomidze bro you're nowhere near too late to start, (I'm 15 and I'm starting now as well) think about it. First of all, age is only a number. Whether your 28 or 18, if you can dance, you can dance simple as that. Even if we do bring "age" into this you've got a good 3-4 YEARS to practice before you even reach your 20's, and that's still pretty young. You can improve so much in just a year if you practice hard enough, 1-2 hours a day and you'll see for yourself how good you can become! It just takes time and dedication. But most of all, you gotta BELIEVE you can get there. Flush all the negativity and doubts out of your head and just DO IT. I'll be working right along with you!
