I really want to try it i've hesitating since it's launch it looks nice and it will be a nice change from my medium and full coverage foundation 🤔
Samantha Jane YEEES I have it and I loooove It I brought it with me on vacay in humide climate and it hold it super well on my combo skin I am super happy with this foundation and I definitely think it’s worth the hype for at least normal/combo/oily skin 😅

Haven’t tried it, but swatch it at my cousin, her shade is too pink (I’m more on the yellow side), but texture looks good.
Did the fragrance irritate you at all?

In Sephora France once is open you're stucked with it.. You're very lucky in North America with your customer service
Same in Brazil. I bought 4WO. Too light. Then 4N. Too dark. Now I mix both to have my color.
USA Sephora has the best customer service ever, you can even return perfumes if you’re not 100% satisfied

Really happy to see you did a dedicated video to review this foundation. I'm wearing it for the first time today and I tried applying it with my fingers (will try it with a sponge next time then a brush) and it blended in really well and quick! I have a combo of oily skin+dry patches and it still applied beautifully! Had it on for about 6 hours now and it still looks amazing despite the hot and humid weather here. (34C/93F weather that's super humid).
PS. I loved the original Forever Perfect foundation by Dior, just finished up the bottle actually. Would love to see if you'll like it as well!

From what I remember, Thataylaa has dry skin and it creased on her and she hated this foundation, but it looked so good on you. I think dry skin might have trouble with this, but oily/combo/normal should be fine.
I love that you always give us all day wear tests and check ins. I've seen foundation reviews and all they do is apply it and say "it looks great" and 5 minutes later "bye!". Wtf kind of review is that? Lol

I really liked it on you with just one layer, it looked so beautiful and natural! I wish this foundation didn't have alcohol because my skin is already dry but I like the color choices and the size. I've used it few times and it's great for my combo skin. But I've noticed that I use it a more than my other ones, so for me that extra amount pretty much goes with that.

I think the foundation looks great and what a value for the amount of product. It's good to remind us about the amount of product because packaging is deceiving, as you said. So you think you can review some Essence products? :)
I feel the packaging on this foundation is very youthful and since the price point seems quite reasonable i can see why a lot of younger consumers are interested in this! Even Roux seemed quite excited as well 😻

I received a deluxe sample of this foundation. It was also 4N.I adore it!lightweight blurring an long wearing!I'm just not liking some of the ingredients (alcohol and perfume)I also would like to test other colors before splurging

I got a deluxe sample in 4N from Sephora. I only used once and loved how light it feels. I do need to test it some more though since my skin is VERY oily. Thanks for the review. 😉

The 4N suits you, however i find i am 99% the same colour as you in other brands.
Try 4W i wear it after i came back from hols, and i will try 4O in the winter which had more yellow
All the same shade pretty much just a difference in undertones so you could potentially make all the 4’s work depending
I will definitely be trying the Dior Foundation you just reviewed. Your skin looked absolutely flawless!!........Just a quick question. You said you suffer from major sweating on your face and head, to the point it just drops off your face. I have the same problem. This makes me not even bother putting Foundation on half the time, because what’s the point if it just going to run off my face. Do you have any tips or tricks you use that prevents you from sweating so much??? It’s so embarrassing and I hate it! My face and head even sweats in the winter time, so I have the airconditioner on in my car both winter and summer!! I’m a mess!! Lol I heard Botox under the armpits stops it. But I’m not sure if that is just for sweating armpits. You have to get it done monthly I think, so it’s a bit of an expensive solution. Have you heard about using Botox for facial sweating?? I’m from Australia so it’s starting to get rather warm over hear. I hate summer!! Lol So if you have heard of anything that may stop the sweating could you let me know please. I am way over it!!........That Dior Foundation seemed to stand up well with your sweating. So as I said I am definitely going to purchase some of that. Sorry about the novel I just wrote you!!! It was just nice to hear someone else suffers from the same problem and I’m not the only one!! Lol
I dont have any sweat specific tips I’ve honestly never tried to really look into it II’ve just accepted it and keep paper towel in my bag haha - but I have an older vid called how to keep your skin matte and my most recent foundation routine both have some tips in there!

I've been debating this one off and on. The Sephora in this area doesn't have it. Went to The Bay and at the time they didn't have it either. Wanted to try this before splurging ..my greatest apprehension though is the fragrance .

This was definitely one the best foundations I've ever worn but it was HORRIBLE for my oily skin.. I was an oil slick after about 5-6 hours but before that, it was gorgeous!
Oh that’s too bad! If you still have it I recommend adding some loose mattifying powder under it

Hi, I m looking for my next foundation wearable / that wouldn't budge under mask. How does this compare with other foundations that have come out since ? Hesitant between this and the Fenty eaze drop one, or even the Sephora perfect skin one that came out this year ? I'm a little darker than you but similar skin type ( combo skin as yours)

If you had to pick between this Dior foundation, the new makeup for ever foundation that you recently reviewed (matte velvet) and the Nars radiant long wearing foundation. Which one would you pick to wear on a day that you want your skin to look amazing and you will be wearing your makeup all day? Or is there another one you rather use?

In summer time you still use 4N ?
The quantity you get is more BUT it's so light in coverage that you may need a couple of layers to get the coverage you need,
so you go through the product way faster.
Depends how much coverage you’re looking for, I wouldnt look to a face and body style foundation for full coverage so I don’t need much to achieve what I’m looking for - I also thought it gave great coverage without much needed!
$40 is not that bad..now $50-60 and over is way to much. I will try for $40.. if its wears 12 hours.. Got oily pore skin

That will be dependant on your skin, everyone has different sensitivities so what breaks one person out may not do the same to someone else! I recommend getting a sample and testing to see how your skin reacts

Maybe I would even buy it. But right now I do not need it. Looking online I'm probably 2W or 2WO as my winter shade. But with my skin tone I can never know :/. It is always a struggle for me to find my shade anywhere.
I loooove this foundation too! tho, its tricky for me buying this online i end up buying 2 shades. but i am loving this its not that heavy on your face. i am dry face this doesn't makes my skin dry maybe because i use it with 2 moisturising serums and sunblock but even though with that layer it doesn't transfer and not cakey at all (or atleast from my experience). :)

You have yellow undertones, so I don’t think that neutral suits you very well. I mean it is a REALLY close match, but if you really want to get technical, then I think you should get a more golden toned foundation.

I mean it kinda did? I blot because that’s what’s realistic for me, I don’t often do it anymore but if I’m oily and you’re oily then if you see me blotting throughout the day that’s a good indication you may get oily too. I’ve never gotten a comment or complaint about it before but I’ll never be able to please everyone, some people say I shouldn’t use power, primer etc! It’s impossible 😂
Oh, I blot at the very end of the day? When the video is over, so why is that a problem - I’m just curious as to why that negate the whole review. I assumed it was a mid day blot, but if I show how it looks at the end of the day before removal and how it holds up with blotting, that’s not helpful? Curious to know why
For me personally it s more helpful to see how oily it gets because i cant always blot of powder or fix it so im looking for a foundation that doesnt look that bad without bloting, but yea im a reslistic person and you are right you cant please everyone and bloting doesnt bother maybe most of the people, so dont mind me do your thing, it s just for me that it s more helpful to know if a foundation looks okish or just terrible without bloting and i feel like fixing the foundation mid day it s a bit defeating the purpose of a wear test and it doesnt let the foundation reach that true lever that shows how good it is and how it holds up in the case that people cant fix it mid day. But as i said i didnt mean for it to come off as rude so im sorry
