She a new age Sade to me. Pure talent with absolutely no gimmicks or using her body to get notoriety. This song is everything. The video is so damn beautiful and creative. As you're watching it you're captivated by her voice that picks you up and take you away, and the beauty of her artistry in this won't allow you to look away. I wish that the music industry was fair because artist like her deserve the same attention as Beyonce and Rihanna.

Ever since I first heard this song, I immediately knew there had to be a music video! So glad she made one! It's absolutely beautiful, and I love her interpretation of it. For some reason, the beginning makes me think I'm floating in water letting all my worries fade away in nature. It's such a gorgeous, relaxing song that can be interpreted in so many ways. I'm so happy Corinne Bailey Rae is continuing her journey in music. She's truly a class act musician.

If you like this, check out Minnie Riperton, if you haven't already. She was a heavy influence of the artists you named. She also had a sweet, soprano, organic soulful sound like Corinne with songs like Inside My Love, Memory Lane & Loving You. This could have easily been one of her songs.

Esperanza actually sings backup on this track, believe it or not. A duet between the two would be amazing. You can hear Esperanza especially towards the end of this song.

Don't sweat it Tracy. They're either:
People that just don't like music that we listen to, and think that we give a rats ass about their twisted perspective on our world.
Or they're pretending to be sophisticated (so that they can talk about artists other than the likes of Taylor Swift) and wouldn't know a quality tune if it came in a sleeve marked "Pay attention, this is a Quality Tune from the Quality Tunes only shop".
Or (and this is almost forgiveable) they didn't listen long enough to get to the supernova chorus, where it grabs you by the aural pleasure centres and floats you along for the rest of the ride. I guess, in isolation, the beginning feels a bit abstract, but in the structure of the song makes perfect sense. This world of instant gratification means that impatience costs some people dearly, like missing out on THE tune of the moment. I say "Tough, it's Corinne Bailey Rae, the dumbasses should show some respect" (I did say it was ALMOST forgiveable!)
