- We recently took our first international trip to visit our SADC neighbors, Botswana! The goal was simple: get our passports stamped and step out of South African soil for the very first time. What we thought would be an easy pass at the border turned out to have its fair share of ups and downs-but that’s what makes travel an adventure, right?
Join us as we share our journey, the unexpected challenges, and the memorable moments from our cross-border experience.

Usually from here to Joburg we would pass through 3 to 4 check points in SA, the 1st being in Mokgola/Zeerust and the second being around Swartragense. 🤞
Would that be via the Gaborone border?
Thanks for sharing your journey, l wish you well

Hi Bots 🎉🎉🎉
😅😅😅
Guys most of those hondas are taxi's 😅😂
😂😅
@@KgaboandPelotrue they're used as taxis here
Those are road blocks, equiting it to police state is a bit extreme. those are for road laws enforcement and car roadworthiness, might just be that it is not normal that side.
Makes sense hey. Thank you for the clarity.
You’re welcome to come visit Oklahoma too 😌😀
That would be great hey😅
New Subie ☺️
Hello sis🫶🏽
Mrs Maupye Did you actually eat mashonzha? 😱
I didn't😅 Let me get through atchaar first nhe, then we can talk about mashonzha😊
@@KgaboandPelo I am rolling on the floor here. I cannot imagine most meals without atchar. My dad makes loads of it every year. As for mashonzha, last had them in summer of 1988. For some reason that memory is very vivid for someone turning 44 in a month's time.
@@TheFisikalMy husband loves atchaar so much so we always have one in the house. I’m just not used to it. Maybe 1 day I will try it nhe😊
@@KgaboandPelo Atchaar is the Best but it must be a Limpopo and Gauteng people thing coz most people I know from EC and WC don’t particularly like it
