Imagine gentrifying an entire neighborhood and kicking out all of the lower class people that lived there, covering it up, pushing them out, and remodeling. You never would’ve guessed the kinds of hardships that people had to experience down there, while the less fortunate suffered during their time there, the middle and upper class now get to go down there having no idea what happened.
People don't care about anyone else's struggles and hardships. We all have our own problems to deal with. People only care about being safe and happy in their neighborhood.
