A most enjoyable video. I watched the first part of your workshop with Roy and have now watched this second part. A very pleasant half hour and some fantastic and inspiring photos. Once again a very nicely done presentation Paul. It had a nice flow and a great variety of images, and dialog. Thank you Roy for allowing Paul to video document your trip. It is a destination to visit. Paul perhaps you could do a four season type of a presentation at this site.

Wyming Brook in my beautiful city of Sheffield and you did it proud Paul. As you say there are many compositions along the length of the brook and then the beautiful Rivelin Valley continues the journey from the reservoir at the bottom. Thanks for sharing with us, loved it.
Next time i come ill carry on down to see where is goes to someone did say it opens up

Enjoyed thanks for sharing. The path down the Brook is closed at the moment due to the bridges being washed away in recent floods.

@@paulcomptonpdphotography Yes I was down there last week, you can cross the stream but thats as far as you can go. Theres a barrier up and a sign saying the first bridge is completely gone and the others are badly damaged, missing boards

Hi, I really like the editing you do with your photos, the colors, contrasts etc. Have you done any post-processing video showing how to get that look on the photos? If not, could you please do one? :) ...and thanks for all your great videos. This is one of my favorite channels.

Hi Paul, great video, Just been to that location and the brook was in spate. The stepping stones were covered and the path on the other side of the stones was closed so had to retrace my steps and follow the path on the true left bank. Keep up the good work...

@@paulcomptonpdphotography Hi Paul, thought my tripod was in the car but guess what - left at home!! Nevertheless took some shots hand held with the 16-80 ( no filters used ). Heres one of them.

Awesome images and what a beautiful place to visit, I’m sure you’ll be going back there again in the future. BTW I’m sure Mrs C will buy you a Medium Format for Christmas if you ask nicely and promise to do the washing up for the rest of the year. 👍

Peter mate that medium format is WICKED but big to carry the inside glass on the lens is like a bean can haha
Probably your best vlog to date. Great series of images. Especially liked the 'upward' panos (I must try that !). You gotta' love them Fuji greens.

What a fantastic location, it even looks good in Fuji Green. I suspect Roy didn't need his hand held much when it came to taking the shots.
I'm at a bit of a loss as to what Medium Format digital is, my guess is that the sensor is just larger with different physical proportions that allows for a greater number of pixels or does it also have something to do with focal distance (sorry, I can't be arsed looking it up!).
its the DOGS mate, sensor much bigger way more pixels and the lenses well these are very good, all makes for a heavy kit but wow its good oh yes and the dynamic range is off the scale
I'm thinking of buying a top of the range Sony Alpha for an amount of money I cannot justify. Waiting until after Christmas in the vain hope that they bring out a new model and the price drops for the one I'm after. Its probably a pipe dream as I'm far too mean to buy a camera that costs as much as my cars worth.
I considered buying one of those 'I'm overcompensating for something' tripods as well but as I'm usually carrying it too far it'd probably live in the boiler cupboard like my Manfrotto. I definitely prefer to travel light as I'm usually tempted to go just that little bit further, deeper, higher.
Try out the fuji keep the cost down

Love you Videos Paul, but to me this proved what I have thought for a long while now is that in my opinion you tend to over warm your images, in comparison to Roy's I can definitely see the difference. But great video all the same.
I think you are right. I have the fuji set to 6100k so may need to lower that a bit. To start with
