Prof got it spot on, positions are given but status is won, Natembeya will elbow all of them out and occupy the vacant Luhya kingpin space.
For a luhya kingpin to be there, they must not work with Ruto early on and they must get out of the shadow of Raila. Leading the luhya’s first as independent then they can make friends close to the election.
I don't like the fact that us Kikuyus started working with Ruto early. I wish we could have consolidated ourselves and made him and others work for our vote. So far, I don't see the benefit. A few people might have received govt positions, but that's just optics, not real/actual benefits to the people
