I struggle to see Kalonzo as a serious challenger to President Ruto. Kalonzo doesn't give me confidence. If Kalonzo is to vie he must drastically change the Azimio campaign team let not the same people that handled and managed RT, Hon Raila Odinga's campaign not be the ones to manage Kalonzo's campaign and by now if Kalonzo was hungry by now he should have shown his appetite to unseat Ruto. Kalonzo plays too safe , he takes no risk.
In my view I don't believe Ruto has fought so hard to only be a one term president. Ruto is a tactician I'm not saying it is impossible for him to be a one term president but it is very hard as a realist point of view. I think by 2027 a considerable chuck of Kikuyus will be rebellious against Ruto.
