This is without a doubt the most powerful and important video and lore video you’ve ever made - this (lore) video was very much needed and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for making it. Kenny Petrovic is, for me, regardless of whether we see him or not, the most important and arguably powerful character in the whole GTA series. He is, as you said, the most important unseen character in the GTA series. Rockstar Games has done such a powerful job of making him so important that whenever his name is mentioned, we, the players, automatically shudder. His name, Kenny Petrovic, is scary. I will never forget the way Dimitri tells Niko what he has done in murdering his son - the fact that Dimitri was acting in doing so is not the point, I am referring to the way he tells Niko that he has done something very serious and dangerous. The tone he takes when telling Niko “Niko, do you know what you have done?” is powerful, chilling, and serious. And when he goes on to say “The boy you killed was the son of Kenny Petrovic. This is a very dangerous man. He will not take kindly this. […] I will speak to people and see what I can do.”, we understand that we’ve done something very, very dangerous and serious. This video was very much needed - so thank you, again, so much for doing it. Also, another point I would like to point out : it is indeed important to keep in mind that the Vice City we will have in the next GTA is not the same Vice City as in the 3D universe. And this system is valid for all other cities in the GTA games and other Rockstar games mentioned in the GTA games (the only exception being L.A. Noire, which I highly doubt would take plage in the same universe as the HD GTA games). A perfect and important example : Carcer City, from the Manhunt games, is not the same Carcer City mentioned in the 3D GTA games, and the Carcer City from the 3D GTA games is not the same Carcer City mentioned in the HD GTA games either. And the same goes for Los Santos, etc. The only exception is the city of Miami - it was revealed in GTA III that the city of Miami did exist in the 3D GTA universe. Ray Machowski, in the mission where you have to drive him to the airport, says he is going to Miami. I very much doubt that this is a mistake by Rockstar Games in which they actually wanted to talk about Vice City, since the Francis International Airport website in GTA III (searchable on the GTA wiki by typing “Francis International Airport website” in the search bar) does mention the city of Miami by offering trips to the city. Miami is also mentioned in GTA: Vice City. Vice City and Miami both co-exist in the 3D GTA universe. However, it is currently unknown whether Miami also exists in the HD universe - perhaps the city will be mentioned in GTA VI. We'll see. 45:06 - yes, even though it’s a (beautiful) reference to GTA III’s ‘Bomb da Base: Act I’ mission, it should be noted that the game also has an ‘Act II’ mission that takes place right after ‘Act I’. Nice lore video as always :-) Anyways maybe the russian coke runners in Alderney(from Phil Bell and Gravelli missions) are part of Petrovic's organization. He is the only known russian mob boss who known to have turfs in Alderney and it wasn't mentioned they are from Dimitri's gang. If they were Dimitri's men it's sure Niko would get a threataning phone call from him. So they are rather Petrovic's organization or a totally different russian mafia group.

You can still do the co-op missions on PC but you need some workarounds to make the multiplayer work like downgrading the game to a specific version and installing some patches.
My head canon about Kenny is that he escaped from Yuktobania and decided to operate overseas into Vespuccia. And despite the present Russian mobsters already operating in Liberty City. Petrovic would be the most luckiest mobster in the history of the city’s underground. Even he allowed opposition groups to operate in Hove Beach only because he would take over as a means of his plans for criminal monopolization of Hove Beach. He learned to be Machiavellian. At least Kenny had a plan in taking over Liberty City’s underground. Better than Dutch Van Der Linde.
1:08:26 In this case "Petrovich" is a patronymic not a surname. Russian surnames end with either -ov, -in or -ev. Kenny Petrovic is probably of either Belarusian or Yugoslavian descent.
Great video. I think the reason he didn't appear in GTA 5 is because the Russian Mafia aren't as active on the West Coast compared to the East Coast. I hope we see him in GTA 6.
Ye n then next then u know luis is working for him it's kinda like luis niko and johnny were all against each n still saved theirselves in the end, Bulgarian had too many connections
Petrovic is not a Last Name, in Russian everyone has a first name - like Peter, a surname - like Romanov, and almost always a fathers name (derived from the first name of Person‘s father) - like Alekseevic, or Petrovic. Peter |, or Peter the great (emperor of Russian Empire) was named Peter Alekseevic Romanov, because his dynasty name (family name) was Romanov. The first name of his father was Aleksiy, hence his fathersmane was Alekseevic. And he wasn’t the first of the Romanov dynasty, he was the first who took the title ‚Emperor‘ after expanding and modernising the country.
Petrović is a well-known Serbian surname, the founder of the Serbian royal dynasty was Petrović, it is the second most common surname here in Serbia (just a fact)

@@yeet24tMrSAUCEGODYou’re 100% thinking of SA
These lore videos are simply amazing, keep up the good work dude!
I killed a man and got away with it in West Virginia.
16:09 So, that could mean the Benefactor Schafter (the black sedan) we see in the intro was Kenny's property, also, it's an expensive car (being based either on a Mercedes-Benz C-Class or E-Class, but most likely an S-Class since it's used by every mafia in the game, regardless of nationality) and (as you said), it will be difficult to import and sell a stolen car, especially if it's expensive (may have a tracker) or not USDM friendly
Damn,I didn't know that. That's an INSANE detail 😃
GTA IV Schafter (from base game) is based on W220 S-Class to be exact
Ye I think that's a 4 door s class replica from 2008 cuz they also have that same version in 5 which is more detailed I drive it around ever nown n then in online but that does seem like it could be in that color so he can avoid open exposure from outsiders 12:08

I honestly hope that we at least get to work with Petrovic, or he gets to be a protagonist, or ally in some capacity. He is an interesting character and I’ve always wanted a Russian protagonist in gta.
John wick was found out to be Belorussian. From Belarus. His real birth name is Jardani Jovonovich.
Niko Bellic doesn’t count. Even if I love him as a protagonist and Johnny Klebitz.
We can all agree that we want some characters from the Balkans or Eastern Europe
@@choffynho I want more Eastern European characters I want some Russian allies and a Russian protagonist
@@choffynho Eastern European characters are the best
I really appreciate the effort you go through man. The depth of lore you uncover is amazing. Plus i always enjoyed your outfit commitment.
Keep up the great work.
What a coincidence I literally plugged in my ps3 like 2 hours ago to play it still playing now that's mad, good stuff Pro keep it going! 👍
You know your day will be so much better when Professional uploads a Gta Lore video.
Great job my man . 😁
Interesting video Pro! Thanks for the upload.
2:42 it was a fairly common tactic in the 1990s after the collapse of Communism and USSR
Israel has a “Law of Return” that states that every Jewish person is entitled to an Israeli citizenship and residency
A lot of Russian criminals have forged documents that claimed Jewish ancestry and received the Israeli citizenship and passport
That's crazy so they were assigned legal citizenship to enter israel even if they were just jewish descendants born in america?
@@yeet24tMrSAUCEGOD yeah you can say
Great Video Pro!!, I been waiting for this one! Definitely make more lore videos! Happy 15th to GTA IV, also my favorite GTA Game!!
I love these lore videos mate. This is mainly what i watch on your channel
The teamwork you and Buzz have, it's so good
When Professional uploads a lore video you know its good.
The Professional is spot on. The most important thing I heard is, if Kenny Petrovic found out who Nico was, I also highly doubt he would ever spare Nico
Think about it this way also
Who in their right mind would ever spare someone
Even if you’re hired gun
But to kill someone’s son
And to spare someone would be classified not only weak
But also ignorant
Cause if Kenny Petrovic actually did that
Then he didn’t care about his son Lenny
But then cared about some random person instead
Great job once again Professional 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Shoot I agree if he knew what niko was up too then ye it would be over for him but Dimitri is a big trick which is the reason y niko got himself caught up in the first place, he told him kill some guy related to kenny n then switched up as soon as it happened which led to the burning of Roman's home and business
@@yeet24tMrSAUCEGOD Nico’s first downfall
Was dealing with Roman’s debt
After always bailing him out with the loansharks
But the moment he killed Vlad
Everything just seemed to fall apart
Dimitri was part of Nico’s downfall
But Roman I feel like is also kind of responsible for this
Because if he hadn’t to gamble and let himself be so close to guys he owe money too
Nico would have never been part of this
Nico Bellic didn’t wanna listen to Mikhail
So Nico had to follow the consequences afterwards as well
Awesome video bro Happy anniversary to GTA 4 I can't believe is 15 years old damn I feel old it's crazy 2008 wasn't that long lol
Yea man
Bro I absolutely love these types of videos man! Keep up the great work! Thank you for your service, you have an absolute certified classic!
An hour long lore video on GTA IV, the best GTA, by the professional. This is gonna be a good one
This is the first time I’ve ever seen anyone actually discuss and talk about Petrovic, good topic
Thanks for another gta 4 lore video Patrick 👍🏻
I love how I can make out the sound of the ice cream truck while Niko and Dimitri are talking about Faustin
I enjoyed the video. It is very cool learn about little history at the end. Good work on the video.
Cool video explaining everything. Also, another little piece of evidence that Vice City exists in the HD era is the Vice City FM radio in GTA 4. It has to be a reference to the new Vice City. It can't be a coincidence.
Best GTA game to this day. I still remember getting it the day it came out and playing it every day afterwards until I beat it. Such a great game!
I remember Kenny being mentioned many times throughout GTA IV's storyline but I didn't expect it to go this deep
These are great lore videos. I played GTA: Vice City and San Andreas growing up, and watching these helps me make connections through the entire GTA gaming universe. Happy holidays Professional and to everyone else 👍
In over an hour long video on a character that we don't really see only hear mention of great job on the commitment of these lore videos keep up the great work and happy 15th anniversary of GTA 4
Fr man I havent seen anyone else do wut the pro did with this analysis I wanna see don percival lore too from gta 5 because just like petrovic his presence remains anonymous n hes only mentioned true the story aswell but they have a lot of tied connections wit the fib and merryweather

This video is every reason that I love gta 4 just as much as any other gta it was so good
Awesome Lore Video! Now I get to know Kenny Petrovic a lot more.
I've never played multiplayer of GTA IV because I played on PC after R* discontinued the multiplayer
You should do lore on more games. Id love to hear your take on the old silent hill games
If Pro ends up playing Silent Hill 3 would he have to dress up like Heather ?😂
Bro I actually kinda like Mikhail Faustian 😂 3:43
Faustian -do you think it is ok to kill my employees
Niko - if he is an asshole yes
Faustian - 😵💥 🔫 I agree😂
Dimitri 😮Mikhail
Faustian- Asshole look at me like I am piece of shit😤
That's is true Mikhail had a temper but he called em out when he knew it was Something up
@@yeet24tMrSAUCEGOD Yes
He was abusive towards his wife
And didn’t have the best of terms with Dimitri or Nico in the end
But one thing Mikhail didn’t follow wrong
Was loyalty
If Nico listened to Mikhail and not Dimitri
Things could have gone differently
Petrovic and don Percival will be the main antagonist in GTA 6 hopefully

I was actually unaware those modes were canon to the story. I just thought it was some side story unrelated because of online reasons. That's actually really cool. I hope R* will respect their established canon and confirm your theory and evidence of the GTA VI prediction. Since the Bonny and Clyde inspired story seems to be true, I wonder how that will fit in with Petrovich, though drugs would make it an easy hook in the jaw for the duo, or be their nightmare, who knows.
This is my second time watching this video. Love this gta lore vids Pro your the goat!
It would be awesome if there was a DLC in GTA Online with Kenny Petrovic assigning the characters missions. During cutscenes he can make various references to GTA 4 Multiplayer protagonists. Kinda like Lester making reference to the GTA Online characters during the mission "Casing the Jewel Store" in GTA 5.
Playing GTA 4 earlier this week and these two question did pop in my mind WHO IS PETROVIC? and WHY NOBODY TALKS ABOUT HIM? I’m glad you cover him I was going ask if you had lore coming to cover this topic
Thank you pro!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Same man for petrovic it's like, hes a well known guy on the news that rarely about knows the backstory of
Professional has uploaded a lore video, truly today is a good day!
Im damn happy that you released a GTA lore vid,Loved every bit of it and also Niko Belic is the best GTA character and he is a very based and most best serbian ever (im also serbian so my love for his character is even deeper, only wish that russian actor whoms Niko's appearance was based on accepted the role cause Niko's serbian couldve been better but still i wont complain)
Your videos covers interesting topics in these games. In the beggining of discovering the channel I kinda err disliked (not the correct word but anyway) the amount of time they all had, but eventually I started to like! I mean, it covers every detail very well and they are interesting to watch!
Good work!
I was sleeping and left my headphones on the screen and your video was on notification and my phone started playing until 11:06
Nice lore video as always :-)
Anyways maybe the russian coke runners in Alderney(from Phil Bell and Gravelli missions) are part of Petrovic's organization. He is the only known russian mob boss who known to have turfs in Alderney and it wasn't mentioned they are from Dimitri's gang. If they were Dimitri's men it's sure Niko would get a threataning phone call from him. So they are rather Petrovic's organization or a totally different russian mafia group.
Ye Gravelli that old man, I forgot his name but I think he was an ally for niko n he knew darko brevic had been smuggled from Europe into the city by the end of the story so he always got the word
Dis why i luv pro lore vids he always do gta lore thats NOWHERE ELSE or nobody else talk bout fire pro just fire keep it up and keep bring gta topics nobody else talk bout luv it 💪🏽💪🏽
You can still do the co-op missions on PC but you need some workarounds to make the multiplayer work like downgrading the game to a specific version and installing some patches.
Fantastic video again. Love these lore videos!
I didnt know about these missions. I see why you call yourself the professional, great content.
I’m glad I saved this video to watch later. It’s very informative.
*Happy 15 Year Anniversary GTA IV*

Great Lore Video 👍 👍 👍
I love your videos! Keep up the great work!
4:06 best comedic sequence in the whole game
AAAAAAAHHHH HEEEEELP
Another great lore video! Thanks Pro.
Brilliant video, I never knew any of this.
Imagine Kenny Petrovic and the Petrovic Mafia make a return in Grand Theft Auto 6.
This is actually super interesting. Never knew about this
I would love to see some lore videos on the Mafia games
I dont know because the last mafia game he played was mafia 1 definitive edition in 2020 so he has to do some research on it
Great video pro happy to learn something new since I never played the mp
1:08:26 In this case "Petrovich" is a patronymic not a surname. Russian surnames end with either -ov, -in or -ev. Kenny Petrovic is probably of either Belarusian or Yugoslavian descent.
Not all of them, some Russian surnames don’t end with that
Had fun last night playing gta 4 with you pro
Was it “mind-blowing”? 🤓💥🌺📱 🎶
I was playing this game earlier. Definitely a masterpiece. Happy anniversary
i love your role video its amazing, and you don't make clickbait videos, respect
Another banger love this content!!!
Great video. I think the reason he didn't appear in GTA 5 is because the Russian Mafia aren't as active on the West Coast compared to the East Coast. I hope we see him in GTA 6.
This video was very insightful and informative. Good job!
This is what I'm talking about!! You actually use context in the game
I wonder what would be Niko's story if he met Pretrovič instead of Faustin
I play GTA 4 so much that I don’t even realize certain details aren’t in GTA 5 (like enemy health bar, vehicle animations, etc.)
played it today. there was an update some time ago and since then i have framerate drops at the end of missions. cool video!
Thank you for the good work pro! I agree gta is one of my favorite games of all time!
I love those videos they are the best!!!
That buzz guy is pretty great
Anyone else think gta 4 also had the best concept art out of all the games? They all just go so hard over the soundtrack
17:46 this is also a hint of Bulgarin finding Niko, and wanting blood.
Ye n then next then u know luis is working for him it's kinda like luis niko and johnny were all against each n still saved theirselves in the end, Bulgarian had too many connections

Great job as always, never doubt!
i like how dimitri b4 the betrayal always sounded funny to me until he betrayed niko

Happy 15th Anniversary GTA 4 and great lore video Professional😉
