How did I miss this a month ago? We have a couple large animal vet friends that we get several pounds of young beef nuggets a year from. They are much smaller because they cut em when the bull gets around 500 lbs to grow steers, and we sit with a razor blade and get both membranes off and will either butterfly them or cut them in half length wise (roughly chicken nugget/finger size when finished) and batter and fry em. Its chicken fried steak with the consistency of catfish fillets. I bet that smoke is killer!
That’s awesome ! I get them as often as I can when I can find them. I love smoking them then frying, adds that extra boost of flavor! Very underrated good to see others enjoying them also lol.
@@Ifitfitz22 haha yes getting off the membrane and tissue is a pain but man o man is it the end result worth the hassle! They probably do taste better though 😂
Pro tip for getting the membrane off without the boiling process, just work with them frozen. The outer membrane can be skinned and peeled off with relative ease when they’re semi-frozen and you’ll still have the whole ball in tact. Great video! Love all the jokes 😆

A couple hours away from me there's a restaurant in Silverton, CO called Handlebars and they serve Rocky Mountain Oysters, IN THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS! And when we go there we usually order them for the table and those that don't know what they are, love them. THEN we tell them what they ate and you should see their faces LOLOL!!!!!
