I would say if you don't care about multiplayer, 100% recommend. If you prefer or only do multiplayer, I would say maybe wait a bit until they make things better and remove exploits. I like to do a mix of both myself. I agree that the DLC thing is bs. But I did get it anyway since I have Humble monthly so they had a discount and with my sub I got more off. I got if for like $43 Which isn't too bad for a FPS that is well made. It definitely has issue though. Getting stuck in walls and bad spawns sometimes for example. I really like the game overall and I think it will become better over time. I think I read somewhere that Germany will be added later as well. Not sure if any other armies will.
I think its just the one-shot nature of the game. It can feel like cheating sometimes when you get popped with one shot and have no clue where it came from. Kinda like Hell let loose, 90% of my deaths I have no clue what happened... coincidentally 90% of my kills the enemy has no idea where I am.
@@bojcio lol yeah I know how that feels. I don't know either most of the time. But I'm talking about stuff like them sprinting at full speed in a trench and they pop out and shoot me as they run without slowing down and I die. Or when I pop out of a random location and get instantly killed while running full speed. Also the cross map kills. And that's fair. I have also done the same back but it still feels like they're too good sometimes. I mentioned it in the official discord and the admit told me it's not possible and that I had to prove it or my point is moot. Like ok, he said it's not possible in a game he's and admin in the discord for so it must be true... 😂 Also, how TF is it MY job to prove cheating for THEM?! That really rubbed me the wrong way.
Cosmetic DLCs? I mean yeah it would be nice for everything to be unlockable but I really don't sweat it that much. It's a way for the devs to keep making money after the main sale, and with the economy and the way people can wait forever for sales on PC I don't blame them. Pay to win DLCs that actually give you benefits, premium accounts and loot crates with the option to buy them with real money are the problem items you should really be hollering about, in my opinion. As for the game it looks really cool. Nice to see a theater of a major war that we don't think about in the West. Seems like if you asked most Americans and Brits they'd tell you WWI was fought entirely in France.
The main thing is, can you dig tunnels into the mountain while while the enemy is counter mining you? If not, it's missing half the uniqueness of the setting.
@DailyPunch You underestimate gamers. If there is enough incentive and it's fun, the mechanic would definitely be utilized. Just the thought of popping up behind enemy lines and having a permanent link between your base and theirs is reward enough.
Mack, are you going to give Foxhole a proper review when 1.0 drops in a couple weeks? Picked it up this week and it's so much better than even the Alpha was a few years ago

The amount of cooperation that would take is unrealistic
@DailyPunch You underestimate gamers. If there is enough incentive and it's fun, the mechanic would definitely be utilized. Just the thought of popping up behind enemy lines and having a permanent link between your base and theirs is reward enough.
@@HappytreeLuis Good ol times when i played free version of ace of spades we dig so many tunnels to the enemy flag :D
@@HappytreeLuis try playing pub on squad and you will see what he means
Mack!!!! You did no headshots ? Whats the headshots sounds like ? Crunchy, dings, nothing ? :D
3:20 Good Tip
a Dutch game development ;)
Mack, are you going to give Foxhole a proper review when 1.0 drops in a couple weeks? Picked it up this week and it's so much better than even the Alpha was a few years ago
Wierd that they didnt include a key to hide the HUD, in their other games its a simple push on T - I know cause Y is the chat, and more than once I have pushed the wrong button and ended up not knowing whos my teammate or where we were going 😛
My sort of game, but if you can certain scenery options down to gain an advantage then I'm afraid it's a pass from me.
Played one match on console. Gun sounds are shit. Takes time to customize sensitivity. Everyone seems to be an aimbot. I had decent fun. I’ll play more later tonight.
I loved Verdun and really liked Beyond the Wire but they’re both dead and I just can’t justify going out and buying this with the good chance it’ll be dead in 2 months which is what happened to Beyond the Wire. Hopefully, I’m wrong and come back in two months to see it thriving
Gonna be a good one this
Alright mate. What would you is the game you play the most?
Hopefully it can maintain a big player base.
Please try Hell Let Loose. It damn near gave me PTSD. It's just so good.
having alot of fun on this game
Does this game require an online connection to play all the modes?
Please make a vid of it in a few months and let us know what you think of it after few months of playing
The DLC thing and the gunfight are very strong downsides.
Always enjoy when multiplayer shooters have bots. Playing solo or PvE with friends is always the most fun IMO
Mack actually likes a video game? The planets have aligned.
Did anyone else randomly find this in their XBox library of games? I know I bought one of the older ones from this developer but I definitely did not pay for this new one and I have it and I installed it and I have been playing it
I have the same problem with uniforms in games like this, utimately I gave up playing them.
I wish straight up deathmatch games would come back and be popular, I'm sick of team based online shooters and grinding XP to be able to play a class you might actually enjoy, especially when you know the game will be dead within 3 months.
For Emperor Franz and his Sissi !!!
"A" is a weird keybind for bandage. What if you wanna move left?
Would probably waiting for
Somme
Gallipoli
Doiran
Cer
Ypres
Argonne
My mates and I played Verdun to the death. I just don't know if I should spend my money on games with the current energy prices being what they are, you know?
Rip Queen Elizabeth.
This game - did it just play out of nowhere? Hadn’t heard anything about it or the developer. Have they made other games before?
So why would anyone play this over the other 40 WW "hardcore" simulator shooters?
one needs good gun sounds in a war game
Mack I'm SO sorry about the queen
wtf... how do you have your keybindings set up? how is A what you use for your bandage? what button do you use to strafe left?!
