I use tea tree oil and coconut oil for rain rot. It works after one or two applications It’s also good for other skin conditions. Just mix equal parts of tea tree oil and coconut oil and rub briskly on the skin loosening the scaly bumps Trust me it works
People dermatologists recommend glycolic acid products to hydrate and moisturize skin and it really works. Glycolic acid is found in fruit. So theoretically you could use some fruit pulp, but you'd not know the strength of it. As we know it is the dose that makes it medicine or poison. I've been known to glide a piece of fruit on my face which is why I look magnificent for 102 /s. Azelaic acid is a little milder. You can get both from "the ordinary" very inexpensively and add a drop or two to the coconut oil. This works on humans . Happy New Year.
Based on 50+ years with horses, I strongly believe there's an immune system component going on with horses that get rain rot, sarcoids. Why do some horses get rain rot over and over and some don't when they're managed the same way? Seems like things like thrush and white line follow this pattern too. Many times these horses act a little lethargic or lazy like Bob did. While treating these things from the outside, I treat from the inside also and the combo has never failed me.
She has the kindest eye! Thank you for taking such good care of her. Biotin is great! it actually has helped me, personally.
I give this to my mustang gelding during allergy season to help his immune system. He absolutely loves it and licks it off the popsicle stick. Haha❤😂❤
She like "alfalfa cube!"
I used MTG oil on my horse this summer after a bout with rain rot. It's great for growing back their coat.
She’s so cute!!

She looks like such a nice mare. I really hope it helps her. 😊 Plus, if it does, it helps us all when we're stumped with an ailment.
Hope was very interested as you prepared the alfalfa cube with the immune builder!! It is so great when the medicine is something they want to take!!
BIOTIN really helps also

Separation shock leads to hair loss and skin problems. What happened to her?
