We used this method to ease the pain during induction, very effective! I draw black dots on the back acupressure points to help locate them during contractions ;) We prepared using a book called the bonapace method and these acupressure points were part of the technique. :)
I don’t mean to criticise but the point between the thumb and index finger The Hegu is in fact LI 4 large intestine 4. It is the correct point though a great point to relieve pain throughout the body. Xx
Okay so this worked for me 100% I was having light contractions and I did it once before going to bed…. My water broke the next morning. During labor I used the hand one on myself and although labor took 12 hours it definitely helped relax me and speed up the cervix.
@Esmeevans378 okay so it's kind of funny that you commented on my comment, since this is an Old Post. But here's some tips now that I have five kids. I have tried everything to induce labor over the years. And I mean everything. Only one thing worked, The midwives brew. Do not skip on the castor oil. Don't do any extra though. Only the little bit that they recommend is enough. All the other things in the midwives brew help to be more substantial. I did not have any negative reactions to it. I did however go into labor the same night that I drink it. If you do research you find that it's actually highly successful in inducing labor

My midwife put pressure on the BL32 when I had a lot of back pain during labor, and it helped a lot!!

How far were you when u did this ? And how many times in a day u did ?
same exact thing for me
Acupuncturist here..great video! It is LI4 standing for Large Intestine 4, not L 14
Fellow acu here... going to say the same:)
the L14 is actually LI 4 large intestine 4, lung meridian only have 11 points
Hello just a correction for you. The hand point for pain is not LUNG 14 (LU4) it is LARGE INTESTINE 4 (LI4)
How often do we do those points to induce?

How long should I press these points if I'm trying to induce labor naturally? ALSO your hair looks stunning and healthy! Love your channel sm.
I believe the rule of thumb is 5 minutes every 1-2 hours

It’s large intestine 4 not L14. Point called hegu to move blood and Qi
Wow great tool! when should we try it? During latent phase of 1st stage of labour? Or active phase?
What is a surge
I’m looking for that info in the comments too 😅
Some people prefer to call contractions "surges" it seems to give them less anxiety 🤷🏽♀️ I'm 39 weeks with number 7... They are contractions 😅😅😅❤
How is this any different from the video you posted 2 months earlier?
How did oxytocin work steps by step
