Just told my rep to order this for me. Had the solus legend ready to go on the truck but i found a video comparing the legend to the plus. The plus came out in 2023 and the legend in 2017. Coworker bought the Ultra years ago and is obsolete now. I wanted to future proof thre scan tool to i went with the plus considering the legend is already 7 years old on older hardware.
How much is it?
one for sale in my area for 1,500$ basically brand new. would you say it’s worth picking up for a first personal pro grade scan tool?
Yes I would but you need to make sure with your rep that it’s paid off with the serial # because if it’s not and you buy it and the previous owner stops making payments. Snap on will lock it up.

Can this communicate with abs module and body control module ?
Yes
I’m a Honda tech, but need a generic scan tool to scan off brand vehicles and need to enter service mode for electric parking brake. Have you come across any scenarios this wouldn’t work for me?
Dealership should buy that for you. You shouldn’t have to buy your own scan tool. Look into the topdon artidiag pro. Much more affordable. Use code enright and it will save you 15% too which makes it like $425
@@Enrightauto I was looking at TopDon as well. But I’m unsure between artidiag pro or Phoenix lite 2. I have experience with older versions of the Solus, but I don’t know anyone personally with a TopDon. EPB is the biggest thing I need in a scan tool

Dose anyone know where I can get the full software for the snap on aolus ultra my SD card is broken

Snap on scanners suck. Way under powered. Autel launch j box with oem subscriptions are superior
