I have a 2024 Xtrainer 300 also. Riding tip for you: In that soft slippery sand you were getting on and off the throttle. This causes the bike to pitch forward (off the throttle) and pitch rearward (on the throttle). This adds instability to an already treacherous situation. Keep a constant throttle thru that sand for stability. Also, speed is your friend in the soft sand. The faster you go, the more steady you will be.

I’ve been reading a ton about these xtrainers, all great! Few people commented on suspension not being the ultimate and need to upgrade.
I’m an old man who putters in the woods, and from what I’m seeing, that bike would extend my riding life! And I love to hear stories like yours that this company stands behind their products! That’s huge, KTM? Well, if ya do the research like I did…
Anyhow, I got a screaming deal on one of the last ones at a good shop. Put a deposit on one, and because I bought quite far away, won’t see it for a few weeks. But, my buddy is bringing it down, along with his new xtrainer and we’re gonna have some fun!!! 😊👍🏍️
@@alexdesamsonow822 That's awesome to hear, and you made a lot of valid points. There are plenty of suspension upgrades available if it turns out that something you feel you need. So far I've really really enjoyed it and I've been doing some faster trail riding with it. From the sounds of it I think it'll fit you perfectly. @@GS-zv3qn thats what my crf was, air cooled 4 stroke.
I wish someone would make a air cooled four stroke with good suspension like the old xr bikes, the 250f motor in an aluminum frame would be nice,the xr650l is nice but tall and wide, a xr400l would be cool, for a lightweight bike a beta or ktm are expensive but lighter than Japanese street legal bike, the crf450rl is nice but a little heavy, I looked at getting the 230 kaw because it's air cooled and not real expensive
@@GS-zv3qn yeah I considered the Kawasaki when I bought the Honda. I went with the Honda because it's got a few more horsepower than the Kawasaki has.
Honda should make a street version of the 250 like kawasaki does with the 230,honda did come out with the xr150l so they do have something smaller than the 300l, ktm and beta have more choices in size but are more expensive, it's hard to decide between expensive or inexpensive bikes, and now electric bikes are another choice in the mix
