New song: "I shot the sheriff. Then I killed the Deputy...." Edit: I just want to point out: In episode III, Palpatine told Anakin, "I have the power to save the one you love. You must choose!" And here Luke is basically saying the same thing to Grogu: "You must choose your path; Mandalorian, or Jedi." I think it's a test, though. After all, Luke used attachment to turn his father back to the Light Side of The Force. So why would he be against Grogu having attachments. Luke is attached to Han, Leia, Chewbacca, and soon to be attached to Han and Leia's son, Ben Solo. As Obi-Wan said, "Only a Sith deals in absolutes"... so I really don't see Luke forcing a relatively young child to make such a choice.

If Grogu doesn't eventually end back up with Din I'm going to be heartbroken. The show is fascinating in the sense that, you just naturally love Luke because of the original trilogy, but since the shows are from Din's perspective and his and Grogu's relationship is so special, Luke almost feels like an antagonist. Hands down Grogu belongs with Din, as awesome as Luke is. Personally, I don't think Cobb Vanth is dead. Watching the scene back, he took the shot to the shoulder, which shouldn't be fatal. His Deputy though, that poor man is very dead. I'm hoping that Garsa Fwip survived her Cantina's destruction, since she seemed very interesting, but didn't do a whole lot of consequence yet in the show. Cad Bane looks amazing, and he was voiced by the same actor who voiced him in the Clone Wars (although his physical performance was by a different actor). I was skeptical of the idea of bringing him into live action when the rumors were floating around because he could have looked incredibly silly, but they did a great job in my opinion. Hours after watching the episode my brain is still spinning out of control. Very impressive episode. I hope the finale hits us hard in all the feels and with some amazing action as well. If the show sticks the landing, I'll forgive some oddities in the pacing of the first few episodes.
Nobody realizes it yet, but shooting the Sheriff was the biggest mistake the Syndicate could have made. Not only did it solidify support for Fett's cause among the townsfolk, it also pissed off the other half of the 'Great Krayt Dragon hunting party'! The Krayt skull was on display for a reason...to remind us just how deeply the tie between 'desert peoples' and the townspeople goes! Everything on Tattooin rests or moves on sand...and the Pykes do not own the sand. I'm getting 'Dune' vibes.
Tatooine has always been ruled by crime lords because its residents are so divided and insular. Each community spurns all the others, the different tribes of Tuskens spurn civilized settlements, and one another, and the Jawas are just all doing their own thing. . The Syndicate is slowly uniting them, entirely unintentionally. Boba and his allies have given them a seed to gather around, and now the Syndicate is pushing them toward it.
"When I take a job. I always see that job through." It was a scary line in the Good the Bad and the Ugly, and also fits a certain Bounty Hunter Duros so well. Looking forward to the confrontation between him and Boba.
Love returning characters Well sit on back I love that Mando showed he cared more about Grogu than seeing him. The important thing was him giving the gift. I don't think Cobb is dead. I also laughed when Bane saying that Boba Fett is cold blooded and worked for the Empire. Says the guy working for spice smugglers.
A little surprised Luke is so attached to the rules of the Jedi, you'd think he of all people would consider letting Grogu have a connection to his father figure in the Mandalorian whilst also being trained as a Jedi
Personally, I think it makes no sense. NOTHING they’ve done with Luke in the Disney films/series fits with what we know of him. Extended Universe Luke was better.
Of all the reactioneers out there, your's are my favorite. No walls. Straight from the heart. Thank you!! PS< I think Din's having to deal with separation from Grogoo must be what parents of divorced children must go through. So hard on the heart. But then, I've never been married, no kids, what the hell do I know. :p Thanks again for a superb reaction.
Luke: Grogu you can only choose either Mandalorian gear or Jedi gear, you can’t have both. Tarre Viszla: Oh sure he could choose only one. Revan: Yep only two options. OR! You go with a third option! Tarre and Revan; You choose both Mandalorian AND Jedi gear and you get to be cool like us!!!
I could honestly see him force pulling both towards him and Luke realises he's gonna have to not only train a Jedi but become a go-between for a new Mandalore and his Jedi Academy
I know that was a scary stressful moment but I am SO GLAD you are reacting to clone wars to know how scary Cad Bane IS That was a shoulder shot so he could be ok
This show is so much. At the end I feel Luke is testing grogu and will give him both if he chooses the baby armor cos he knows grogu’s heart isn’t fully into the training at this moment
I'm PRAYING it's a fake out and Grogu can pick both and be a Jedi Mandalorian like Tarre Vizsla and Luke can teach Din how to wield the Darksaber and we get a found family Im sorry I'm emotional
i swear i teared up when ahsoka said "so much like your father". oh and *terrified* when cad bane rolled into town. always fear old men in a profession where most men die young.
Sesska Gurl, I love watching your reaction videos to the Mandalorian and now to Boba Fett. You really let out your emotions and I feel you and I totally agree with you. Because although I get it and understand why Grogu cannot have a strong attachment to Din I still feel it's So Unfair!!! Anyway keep making the videos and I think you look amazing!!! 😁
The "so much like your father" line had me in tears too. Because it means Luke and Ahsoka have talked, that he knows someone who knew his father whilst he was still Anakin, and SHE knows that Anakin came back from the dark side at the end. (And there won't be a dry eye in the house when Ahsoka meets Anakin's force ghost...)
Don't be too sad, Sass. I think Cobb Vanth might be alright. I heard them say "get some stems! Gets some medical attention!" Stims usually heal alot of near fatal wounds in Star Wars.
You are so adorable. Seeing you cry makes me wanna hug you. Anyway, I wouldn't worry about Marshall Cobb: from the looks of things, he got shot in the shoulder and may still be alive. His deputy is DEFINITELY dead though. As for Grogu, he has definitely a difficult decision to make. I am in the same boat as you: part of me still wants him to rejoin Din, but another part of me wants Grogu to continue his Jedi training. Whatever decision Grogu will make eventually, it will definitely affect his life as well as the rest of the Galaxy... LOVED your reaction, sweetie. Keep up your great work! Daniel
First of all, I absolutely loved how amazing and emotional your reaction to this episode was. Second, HOLY S^^^!!! Luke Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano meeting each other after ROTJ is finally canon, and we finally got the live-action debut of Cad Bane, especially since we now know that he is still alive after the Galactic Civil War. Also, I thought Yoda's lightsaber was destroyed in the first issue of the "Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith" comic book series.
It feels very MCU-like to me the way they're telling this story. But hey, that's not a bad thing, I don't think. This episode had everything a fan could possibly want in it. Just incredible.
Well it’s a formula everyone hopes to achieve but fail because of the key ingredients that Star Wars now has with these series. Dave Filoni’s in-depth knowledge of the universe and Jon Favreau who listens and has day 1 MCU experience. If Dave says no that doesn’t fit then it’s a no. Choosing directors that love the franchise and want to enrich the stories. I loved the MCU but I have never cheered when the directors name is revealed like I do for these shows lol
Fuck balls! 😁👍 What an truly honest reaction which mirrored my own. I was emotionally floored and drained after witnessing that. Mando's dilemma had me in bits. Such a beautifully crafted episode. So steeped in everything I cared about. I have total faith in the team making all of Star Wars now. They are connecting everything in such a fluid way. All of Star Wars is now a whole, a history that joins the prequels through the animated series' to the sequels. It's the best time ever to be a fan and I'm loving it all! 💗
The Tusken Jedi was part of Legends, but you’re right otherwise!! Why else would the Armorer bring up Tarre Vizla in TROTM just to mention he was both Jedi and Mandalorian?
@@skinnysnorlax9356 oh. Legends did have some good ideas. Heard from a youtuber about an imperial who was kind of a friend to vader to the point he healed him. His friend was different since he worked hard and wasn't afraid to join in the fight.
The opening sequence was just Justified in space. The basically just replaced "heroin" with "spice" and "Harlan County" with Mos Pelgo" and you know what, I'm down with a season of Space Justified. Also, if you told me that a puppet reaching out to a man in a space knight suit would reduce me nearly to tears I would have called you a liar.
I'm not so sure that Grogu really wants to be a Jedi. Everything that has been Jedi related in his life has sucked major balls. I feel like he might want to run around playing ball, eating frogs and going on adventures with his Dad-alorian.
He still need to learn to defend himself and he can do that only as a Jedi. But I think he will be on the middle path... being both a Jedi and Mandalorian. :)
In Obi-wan's show. I just want him to pop up going 'Kenobiii, my old friend' and Ben goes 'I wouldn't call us friends exactly, Hondo'. I think I just heard JAT in my head saying that 😂.
wait till you get deeper into watching the clone wars series and watching Star Wars rebels you think you're emotional now.. wait I sense a lot of tears coming
One thing is for certain.. Grogu is one of the best characters ever created... everyone absolutely LOVES this kid.. He makes everyone cry.. He tilts his head.. Everyone cries.. He makes a noise, everyone laughs.. He just makes Star Wars fans soo emotional, its AMAZING to watch
I think the Marshal Cob Vanth is still alive, he was only hit in the shoulder. Cad Bane (clone wars and an episode of The Bad Batch) looked great in live action. I think Grogu is going to choose the beskar chain mail and to return to the Mandalorian, Grogu could practice his use of the Force and could return to his training in the Force once he's 100 or so years old. He doesn't have to totally "abandon" him connecting to and using the Force... he has another 900 years and can train to be both a Force user and a Mandalorion like Tarre Viszla was both Mandolorian and Jedi...
Man, Mando S3 has been hitting it out of the park these first two episodes. In all seriousness, the cameos and appearances this episode were incredible, and the fact you’re going through Clone Wars makes your reactions even better to witness

*this is why history is so important. luke doesnt know anything about his father, just "from a certain point of view, the emperor seduced him" or something. not that he was a child murderer well before the emperor came along. & that his mother was totally onboard w covering up warcries: again, before the emperor. she hit a threshold, but only when "her ppl" & career were also threatened.* & yoda didnt want him trained from the start, obiwan never mentioned that either; for the exact same reasons re grogu. attachment to a parent figure bc he was too old (@ 6-8, let alone 50. remember that baby is 50yrs old) & never forget, anakins attachment was what made him kill children, wholesale. the emperor didnt order that (the 1st time). duku woudnt even do that! few ppl take "go murder these children" orders well, for the most part. *certainly not w a hand to melee hand weapon anyway.* clearly, drone missiles from an air conditioned booth in the outback or nervada isnt the same. I am glad you decided to watch Clone Wars because Cad is such a scary m'fer and in live action he looked amazing. Also this episode was just unbelievable.
Heartfelt reaction Jess! This episode is truly one of the special ones, . . . Grogu's Choice - really emotional cliffhanger there, . . . Next week's finale's going to be one for the books!
This is the Luke Skywalker we should have seen in "The Last Jedi", giving Rey his knowledge and experience in the ways of the force rather than appear as a crabby old hermit who just wanted to die. Thanks Dave...
Not sure if this is intentional, depends where it goes, but I like how the training scenes with Luke do a good job of showing how he taught the same mistakes Yoda and the Jedi taught regarding emotions which led to Anakins downfall and eventually Kylo. It's one of the most interesting elements of the Last Jedi which ep9 kind of ignores, if the Jedi don't change their teachings, history is doomed to repeat itself.
Timothy Olyphant doesn't look hardly anything like he did when he was younger. He is aging well, but he looks like he is morphing into a scruffy version of Pierce Brosnan. LOL!
saying he may never see the mandalorian again is not saying he is not allowed to it is saying that during his training years of training it may turn out that he never runs into him ever again personally I'm thinking it's just a test to see where Grogu mindset is at perhaps just a trial that Luke is putting on him and if he chooses the lightsaber he passes the test and at some point when grogu has more control of his emotions and Powers he will be able to handle the attachment of the gift
Your reaction to Ahsoka and Luke is beautiful, and I would have believed you had seen all of Ahsoka's story by now! Since you haven't yet, all I have to say is you have such a gift to look forward to there, and it will only make her appearance here with Luke even more intense. Great reaction in general.
I believe Grogu will choose the armor because, as Luke stated, Grogu will outlive Din so he can always train as a Jedi after Din dies. That being said, I believe Din will ultimately go to Mandalore and bathe or drink the Living Waters of Mandalore. The Living Waters will accept Din enabling him to claim he's a true Mandalorian. I also believe that before Din can stop him Grogu will also bathe/drink of the Living Waters and also be accepted as a Mandalorian. This will enable him to become the next Mandalorian Jedi. Now after his Jedi training I don't think Grogu will go after the Dark Saber because that would mean he would have to rule Mandalore for the rest of his life and I can't see that happening.
we just finished this and I was blown away. Came here to watch your reaction and my gf said you look like a "nice Poison Ivy" XD Also she wants to know what mascara you use
8:39 This really is what we wanted to see Luke do in Last Jedi. Teaching and passing on the legacy of what he had learnt onto others. Being a Jedi Master. This really was a highlight episode for me.
When it comes to Grogu's choice, I don't believe he will have to make one, I think what Ahsoka said about the student teaching the master will come into play and Luke will learn that it doesn't have to be one or the other.
i love the raw emotion from you, its hard some times, I was there in 77 hoping with the "new hope". dont worry,I'm crying with you. what will his decision be?? I hope he chose's the suit. whats your choice. finish the clone wars and you'll understand more of the story. May the force guide you always. :)
I was thinking about this the other day regarding your TCW vids Jessika; I would perhaps NOT watch the Kenobi series, until you have seen almost all of Clone Wars, as it could potentially spoiler a major story. Now I was running through how fast you are going through them, and you might finish them before year end, if you stick with your 2/1 2/2 viewings for the major arcs to come, but there is a few things in Clone Wars that will lose their emotional impact if they get somehow mentioned in Kenobi. Have a think about it, you might be done by the time Kenobi airs, but please keep this in mind. And Cob Vanth signed his death warrant by letting that last Pike go; they went on and hired the best bounty hunter around! What an episode.
Listen, if they include the mention of what you are saying in a way it is mentioned in the Kenobi book between him and the Force Ghost of Qui-Gon (who I fully expect as a cameo), I will seriously burst into tears. And I second your suggestion. TCW should be completed before the Kenobi series.
@@binaldoshi495 Unfortunately there are rumours of Kenobi coming out in early May (for Star Wars Day) and Jess might want to watch it and post it as it will get the views for her. There might not be a major spoiler, but I just have a feeling with some of the things they are now expanding on in the live shows, that there will be references to one or two things she hasn't seen in Clone Wars just yet.
I wouldnt worry about the marshal. It looks like he was hit in the shoulder and I think I heard a "clanking" sound when he got hit. We will see. Oh, and it looked like the townspeople were treating his shoulder when they came to help him. Now you understand why watching the Clone Wars is important, if you had not you would not have recognized Cad Bane. Enjoyed your video.

I caught that, too. You're right, though... a lot of people missed that.
I feel like some Tuskens might show up at the last minute when all seems lost like the Ride of the Rohirrim in LOTR.
Boba in the first two episodes especially had very strong Paul among the Fremen vibes.
Definitely a reference to The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly. Also felt like the bomb scene was a nod to The Untouchables
I saw that, "hey Mr you forgot your suitcase!" Little girl goes boom
Cad Bane was done well. Sometimes cartoon characters don't scale well to live action.
Straight out of The Untouchables, that cantina explosion.
"When I take a job. I always see that job through." It was a scary line in the Good the Bad and the Ugly, and also fits a certain Bounty Hunter Duros so well. Looking forward to the confrontation between him and Boba.
Yup, I read Dave modeled him after Lee Van Cleef. That's angel eye's hat for sure!.
Love returning characters
Well sit on back
I love that Mando showed he cared more about Grogu than seeing him. The important thing was him giving the gift.
I don't think Cobb is dead.
I also laughed when Bane saying that Boba Fett is cold blooded and worked for the Empire. Says the guy working for spice smugglers.
"Is that who i think it is?"
"No?"
*"Fuck."*
Clone Wars, Rebels, Bad Batch =
A LOOOONG journey still awaits you!!!
Episode 5 was really good but in this one I was crying couple of times, like for example when Grogu started jumping to dodge this laser...
Only you can turn wise words into a “that’s what she said” joke
A little surprised Luke is so attached to the rules of the Jedi, you'd think he of all people would consider letting Grogu have a connection to his father figure in the Mandalorian whilst also being trained as a Jedi
Personally, I think it makes no sense. NOTHING they’ve done with Luke in the Disney films/series fits with what we know of him. Extended Universe Luke was better.
Space Rayland is the man and can not be killed by mere mortals.
I am so with you on Grogu choosing to go with Mando! Thats his dad, and he's Mandos son.
I do think he can be both
Of all the reactioneers out there, your's are my favorite.
I think Grogu will make the same choice Luke did.
"I am a Mandalorian like my father before me"
I love how your feelings just showed...
Looks like you're living it.
Love you.
I know that was a scary stressful moment but I am SO GLAD you are reacting to clone wars to know how scary Cad Bane IS
That was a shoulder shot so he could be ok
That series of F bombs was hilarious.
During the training scenes I kept thinking:
Run
Run
Run
Jump
I can be a backpack
While you run
This show is so much. At the end I feel Luke is testing grogu and will give him both if he chooses the baby armor cos he knows grogu’s heart isn’t fully into the training at this moment
Ahsoka and Cad Bane showing up have got my Clone Wars heart a flutter!!! 😍
Those Jedi rules led to their downfall, along with Sidious manipulation and I really don’t want Grogu to be a Jedi and completely forget Din.
Gets some medical attention!"
Stims usually heal alot of near fatal wounds in Star Wars.
*Stims. As in short for stimulant.
@@theadamabrams Nooo. I thought they were short of This is The Way
You are so adorable.
Maaaaybe that was actually Yaddle’s lightsaber that was destroyed? 🤓
Grogu can be both. The first darksaber holder was both mandalorian and jedi. Even tusken raiders had one jedi
Please Dave have him be both 😭
Ledgens Luke let his students wander, fall in love, and use blasters. Please?????
Yoda gave Luke the same choice in The Empire Strike Back.
this was an emotional roller coaster. anyone else want hondo to come into the picture?
I think Hondo is gonna be in the Ahsoka series, joining up with her, Luke, Sabine, and maaaaayyyyybe Rex to look for Ezra/take down Thrawn.
In Obi-wan's show. I just want him to pop up going 'Kenobiii, my old friend' and Ben goes 'I wouldn't call us friends exactly, Hondo'. I think I just heard JAT in my head saying that 😂.
I am very conflicted about what path Grogu should take. But yes, Luke totally upsold the lightsaber 🤣
wait till you get deeper into watching the clone wars series and watching Star Wars rebels you think you're emotional now.. wait I sense a lot of tears coming
Yeah, when you said I’m not going to cry anymore right guys? I said oh you got about 2 more cries coming 😂.
Given what we know about Luke's Jedi Academy, I hope Grogu chose the Chain-mail 😂
as Obi-wan would say "only the Sith deal in absolutes".
Love your reactions, they’re so genuine. But hot damn what a rollercoaster that was, I couldn’t take it anymore yet wanted it to continue forever 😂
Can't believe no-one has reacted the the 'nose' joke
Sesskaaaaaaaaaa I just want to hug you so much at the end of this one! Such an amazing series!
Thank you for watching the Clone Wars. I don’t think if you remember that I said you wouldn’t be disappointed & your reaction didn’t either.
I loved this reaction ahahah when you kept saying fuck throughout the video I was laughing so hard
My heart this entire episode was beating so much.
I think Luke is just testing Grogu, to see where his allegiance truly lies. After that, he will get both.
That's my prediction too.
Man, Mando S3 has been hitting it out of the park these first two episodes.
In all seriousness, the cameos and appearances this episode were incredible, and the fact you’re going through Clone Wars makes your reactions even better to witness
you should send out an advertising sizzle reel to some of the yter makeup lines showing the no run make up. you could do that no trouble. you have the skilz to throw a 1min reel together. -JC
*this is why history is so important. luke doesnt know anything about his father, just "from a certain point of view, the emperor seduced him" or something. not that he was a child murderer well before the emperor came along. & that his mother was totally onboard w covering up warcries: again, before the emperor. she hit a threshold, but only when "her ppl" & career were also threatened.* & yoda didnt want him trained from the start, obiwan never mentioned that either; for the exact same reasons re grogu. attachment to a parent figure bc he was too old (@ 6-8, let alone 50. remember that baby is 50yrs old)
& never forget, anakins attachment was what made him kill children, wholesale. the emperor didnt order that (the 1st time). duku woudnt even do that! few ppl take "go murder these children" orders well, for the most part. *certainly not w a hand to melee hand weapon anyway.* clearly, drone missiles from an air conditioned booth in the outback or nervada isnt the same. [yes i know all the research: no it isnt]).
anyway, gr8 react. baby yoda is gr8. luke is luking betr (it will date it tho, bc the tech still isnt thr). also, they brought palpatine back: 100% grogu is yodas kid. only 2 other yoda species are known, & they both lived in the tower grofu was found. yoda & yaddle. yoda, that hypocrite. having an affair, two grand masters. keeping the seat on the council, but forbidding a senator & jedi consular to marry publically. weirdo sick child thieving cult that it is. -JC
I am glad you decided to watch Clone Wars because Cad is such a scary m'fer and in live action he looked amazing. Also this episode was just unbelievable.
If crying in this episode was a crime you would be punished!!! *hug*
"That's what She said".... LOVE IT... I was thinking the same thing. LOL, FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK.......
Awsome reaction. But didn't the Armor lady say the 1st person with the dark Saber was Mandalorian and a Jedi. Why can't Grogu be??
Not sure if this is intentional, depends where it goes, but I like how the training scenes with Luke do a good job of showing how he taught the same mistakes Yoda and the Jedi taught regarding emotions which led to Anakins downfall and eventually Kylo. It's one of the most interesting elements of the Last Jedi which ep9 kind of ignores, if the Jedi don't change their teachings, history is doomed to repeat itself.
Heyyy glad to see you still active! I hadn’t been getting notifications. Missed ya!
I wanted ashoka to call r2 rtooie like in clone wars
I mean... The first Mandalorian with the Dark sabre was a Mando & Jedi... so technically Grogu can be the next dual Mando-Jedi again.
Are you going to watch Bad Batch or Rebels after Clone Wars? Rebels continues Ashoka's story after Clone Wars up to the live action.
Came here to watch your reaction and my gf said you look like a "nice Poison Ivy" XD
Also she wants to know what mascara you use
love, Love, *LOVE!* Your reaction 😍❤🥰 Tears, feels, emotions and all 😄
8:39 This really is what we wanted to see Luke do in Last Jedi.
Almost everyone I’ve seen react to this show far (and also me) cried when Ahsoka said may the force be with you.
It’s cause there’s something about the way she means it that just gets us man. I FEEL it when she says it I swear
