Okay, let me get this straight. A "Dial In" can be customized based on how you use the "speed" of the car based on distance (e.g. 1/4 mile) and precise timing of how close you complete that road distance with the targeted time (Dial In). It also doesn't matter how much power your vehicle has or how fast it is as long as you're close to the "Dial In" time you chose.
However, your opponent will more likely have a different "Dial In" that's different than yours. The real challenge is to race the time to get close to the Dial In timing, not the opponent! It takes a lot of practice to do so, but the very first thing is to know exactly (at a close, specific Time) your vehicle is going on the road. Easing off the gas based on the Gear (3rd for me) and RPM (6500 for 1 whole second) will slightly increase the timing so you won't complete the course (a little) too early. I just practiced. I simply did 5 attempts on my car to get the results: 10.345/10.312/10.356/10.367/10.330.
I decided to choose 10.345 as my Dial In. The O/U within the Dial measures how many milliseconds you're close to/over the Dial In time after the race. The purpose of the O/U compares Time Slips between the opponents completing the track based on their own Dial Ins and your own; which ones were too early (e.g. -1.257) and which ones were too late (e.g. 0.628). The lesson is getting to the Dial In Time by making the results of how much time it took you to complete the track. Your recorded time must be precise letting the O/U get as close as 0.000 seconds. By comparing "-1.257" and "0.628" O/Us, the closes to 0.000 which is "0.628" is the winner. The O/Us must be positive numbers, otherwise, you will "Breakout" losing the chance of winning (and at this situation, it doesn't even matter how much less/more Package you have; if you Breakout, the O/Us will have negative numbers (like -1.257). The Package is the overall reaction timing of the driver's performance on the track (not based on how much horsepower you have). The less Package you have, the more likely you will win, but ALWAYS remember that your O/U must be positive and close to as "0.000" as possible to guarantee the victory. If the competitor of "0.628" had a Package greater than his/her opponent (knowing that he/she was the closest at "0.000", but the opponent has less "Package") the competitor of "0.628" will more likely lose the race. "0.628" opponent will absolutely lose if the "Package" is greater than the opponent's. It doesn't matter if you're the closest at "0.000", the Package makes the difference. You have to have less of it to guarantee the win while winning at your own Dial In and having your "O/U" time numbers as positive as possible.
Overall:
-Dial In time must represent the absolute performance of your vehicle based on distance.
-O/Us must have positive numbers that are close to as "0.000" as possible; Breaking out leads to negative numbers that will more likely ruin your chances of winning.
-Package must be kept at a minimum. Otherwise, if you followed the 2 steps above, but your Package is greater than your opponent's, you will absolutely lose the race.
😐
Lol
Yes
Bruh
why
The problem is the other racers are accepting a race that's slower than the bracket they should be competing in but that's probably because they think it's bracket racing where each car has it's own average time. When I first started playing I didn't understand and I kept joining races that I was doomed to lose. The best way to heads up bracket race is to host your own race and set the time up that works for your car as in this video. I've found that I win the races I host more than the races I join whether bracket or otherwise.
Can you show the CORRVETTE tune

It's your R/T (reaction time) that is low. Improving your R/T faster will grant you a better Package. Same goes for your Dial In "O/U". Usually, an R/T of 0.300 is good, but your R/T can be as high as 0.100 or even higher. Just remember at any Tree (of your preference) that R/T can happen before the Green Light after the Yellow Light appears; always remember to check your R/T after every race especially in the Test & Tune, but just try to avoid as many Red Lights as possible in the Test & Tune.

It's because you have more Package than your opponent. It's a guarantee lose.
Breaking out is the actual term for running a faster ET than your dial-in. You can't break out going too slow.
True, but it will add more to your Package which would ruin your chances of winning. However, between "0.000" and "0.020" over O/U is best, but you gotta still master that R/T when you're taking off.

I think it’s best to build a car that’s all built out but only uses one gear so you can be as consistent as possible
What you are doing here is Index racing in super comp class that is set at 8.90 off a Bracket tree for you to be in a true bracket racer there would be different dial in on both lanes and the tree would be staggered according to the difference between the two dial in,s😲

They probably left the line before you did...your time might be faster, but the winner is the one who crossed the line first.
It factors in reaction time.

bro same here been happening to me all day i should have won all these races but it’s saying i lost
Just lost a similar way, makes no sense unless I’m missing something??
They’re getting a better reaction time which gives them the win
@@CODYSEVEN2 and the reaction time only matters off the line or does it matter for every shift? And at what point does reaction time mean more than the actual time, at a 10th of a second?
@@paulkass4504 reaction time (R/T) is the amount of time you get off of the starting line immediately BEFORE the Tree Light turns Green. It has nothing to do about your shifting. All that matters is that you improve your R/T while making it across the finish line a little over the O/U. Going under the O/U will make you Break Out.
Do 32's actually not effect your performance?

Welcome to bracket racing.....
Thats how it works for heads up, this is bracket.
someone explain how this works, I just finished a race at 8.939 and my opponent got a 9.012 and he took the money ????
It's a new game hitch happens to me oo
It happened to me too, it was a 8.9 dial in, I ran a 8.935 and my opponent ran a 8.70 and he got the win
@@Zoneeee13 that doesn't make sense. If the Dial In is 8.900 and either racer came across the finish line UNDER 8.900 will Break Out, which make them lose.
Raxgde, it's your Package after the race. Your Package is the R/T (reaction time) plus your "O/U" in which case is between "0.038/0.039". I can tell that your R/T must have been above "0.200", but the point is if you accelerate after the Green Light appeared, you ruined your R/T. The right time to accelerate to improve your R/T is going on the Yellow light before it quickly turns Green on the (preferred) Tree. For example, after the race, if you had a Package of "0.338" and your opponent had a Package of "0.123", you will lose because the most important goal of a Bracket Race is the racer that has the _least_ Package. The racer that has the least Package after the race is the winner.
how is ur top speed 721 mines 674 and the same car

So good I made over 100k thanks Cody
This helped me so much thank you very much ❤️😀
I do custom bracket at 5.960 cause I always get 5.960-5.980 , the opponent sometimes dials in for example 8.300 and he’ll get like 8.450 and somehow he wins the race ?? When he’s way off to his dial in then I am, I’ll be 10 seconds off and he’ll be like 30seconds , why is this?
It's your Package after the race. The only qualifications of a good Dial after the race is getting as close to the Dial In as possible without running BEFORE the Dial In; running under the Dial In (let's say your DI is 8.960 but you ran 8.940) will result in a Break Out, which you will lose. And running over the DI (if your DI is 8.960 but you ran 8.990 or higher) is still qualified, but it will add more to the Package. Remember this: Bracket racing is not about who was the closest to their Dial In, but it also depends on the racer that has the best Reaction Time (R/T) that decides their Package. The lower your R/T is and the better your DI run is, the better your Package. By low, I'm talking about an average R/T would be "0.400", but you can get it lower than that; like below "0.200", it would be a lot better. But getting below "0.100" is the best. To make your R/T quicker, you need to accelerate on the Yellow Light before it quickly turns Green. It takes practice, though. Do it in the Test & Tune. If you're getting any Red Lights, you're doing the start right. If your opponent had a Package lower than yours, then you will lose.
