Why not build drop pods that can survive impact w/o parachute assist whilst keeping the supplies on board intact...? Then no need for new vtols...

Keep them cheap and sneaky a mass produced cargo carrier like the large relative of a switchblade. 1 or 4 of them dropping boxes of ammo and MRE's to a squad at "next city over" range would be slick. Replace the tanks with something like Hybrid power Ripsaw ACV's as sensor/ drone platforms with heavy self protect firepower would be smart too.
we have been experimenting with VTOL drones since the nineties; its about time one actually got of the ground (no pun intended). 😎

I hate the fact we have to because China and our enemies have started using such tactics. Might as well be terminator the movie. Imagine risking your life or being fatally wounded and your best efforts were to break a stupid machine because Udong can’t parachute and fight us like a man or fly it himself like population was ever their issue 🤣.
It is a cost effective weapon but there have been programs working on this for a decade or so. One was utilizing multiple types of drones airand ground to flood an area and control it.

Is it me or is it sort of funny that the drone has 20+ electric motors on it? It is not flying it is simply dominating the air through power which means when it fails it will drop like a rock. It will also use a insane amount of power as well.
