after watching you for 2 years have brought three things that make cleaning the cars so so easy thank you John, number one AXA pressure washer brilliant, put this together with Touch Less and Touch On, what can I say absolutely blown away with the three of them. Thank you so much need to by you a pint at least. Martyn.
I've stopped snow foaming because of the mess it leaves on the floor after, i've changed to using either forst in a spray bottle or even touchless in a spray bottle and it still works great. Just food for thought.
I also switched from foam but more due to product usage amounts. Still throw a tarpaulin on the ground under the car. Block paving and snow foaming just not meant to be. If i drop something, i can pick it up and rinsing down after the car wash is simple and clean-straight into the drain. Also satisfying to see *all* the dirt thats removed.
I love this stuff, so glad that Obsessed Garage is importing it to the US now and holding the line on price (the old seller was doing much bigger markups). Seems to do a great job on road salts. We get much colder here in the middle of the northern US, but as long as it is at least 10F (-12C) and the sun is shining, I can pull my car out into my south facing driveway to do this process with hot water supplying my pressure washer. Then I pull it back in to the heated garage to do a rinseless wash and I get the safest wash possible without making my garage extremely humid.
its in good hands with matt. if it went to the wrong person they can tend to go overboard with the "cheese" in the USA. And it would break my heart to see this product being overhyped and cheese'd up.
Have to say Jon, out of all the products you've showcased on your channel and that I've invested in, the AVA Go, Optimum No Rinse and Bilt Hamber Touchless have been absolutely superb and my go to items. Thanks for the content as always. 👍🏻
I do like snow foam, I too find that it removes the majority of the contamination on the paintwork. This time of year, when it’s very cold, as much as I love spending a day detailing, it’s just not possible, so I have to make do with touch less spruce up, I snow foam, rinse, then dry with my flex blow drier. Not ideal, but it has to do when it’s just too cold to spend hours outside❤.
Touchless is amazing. And i dont need alot in the IK foam pro 12. The PIR way of using it with a pressure washer uses so much product, its insane. And it even does its thing without making foam of it if ud want, absolute banger of a product!
Hi John, I find using less solution works better… I use auto foam in a pump action sprayer leave to dwell then go over it with pro clean snow foam the dirt really does come off so easy. Just my method anyway. Great video as always 💪
🚦😂 I use Touchless. I have the newer more concentrated version, and with my MJJC cannon and Karcher K4 Compact, I use 50ml of Touchless to 450ml water (I used to use 100ml of product to 400ml of water with the previous version). Get great results. I wouldn’t use anything else👌
Apologies...I do have the MJJC pro V2... My original question was referring to the extension wand (got my wording mixed up) Let me know your recommendation please, many thanks.
You're literally spot on about the PIR Ratio Jon ..... Ive watched loads of guys like yourself actually sit and work it out and its always worked out at around 100ml diluted to a litre is 1%......yes the ecact figure for 2% may be 238ml diluted to a litre but given the errors in accuracy of the measurements on the foam cannon (is 1,000ml actually a 1,000 or is it 992 or 1,010 and the same with the bucket you're emptying it into)
Actually I think this is very dependent on your foam canon. For example the draw rate from a MJJC cannon is about 50% faster than an MTM foam cannon. Which has a pretty drastic effect on PIR. 200ml in a MJJc for roughly 2% PIR would equate to 300ml in an MTM to get the same PIR
@@RustyHammer6 ....there's always exceptions .... Actually since having the car ceramic coated in April I've cut it to 100ml diluted to a litre and it's never failed me yet ... All I'm saying is that you can get hung up in measuring it to the last 1ml of product as unless you're using laboratory calibrated measuring devices you've no idea on how accurate your measurements are to start with .... If you use 200ml but your calculations call for 239ml it's not going to make an awful lot of difference and if it does then next time just stick a wee bit extra in.
@@petersmith7126 fully agree. I also don’t do any calculations, and just go with rough measurements, but I do think it’s important to know the flow rate of your snow foam cannons because they vary so much. What a lovely guy. Passion and explanation with all his videos. Ive heard he lives local to me , wonder whether he would clean my car for me and give some advice 😊😊😊 also, thats an awesome E36. ❤ Thanks.

I don't need snow foam when I have snow on the car already! 🤣
The dirt will be more abrasive to your coating than the touchless itself. Your coating will last longer using it every wash even if at a weaker solution, reset is a shampoo & has 0 non contact cleaning ability.
Perfect timing. As someone that doesn’t have an insulated water hose, I cannot foam cannon/pressure wash in freezing weather. Pump spray (although tedious) should do the trick right?
Agree John v1 was good but v2 Touchless is nice and thick now plus goes a very very long way. Cant wait to show off its performance in a video at the weekend.
@ForensicDetailing Im really trying to avoid the contact wash, would the spray and rinse sealant last less if I avoid the contact w? I feel that touchless is strong enough for most dirt and careful pressure washing would be enough for 90% clean.
I did a side by side of Touch-Less and Auto-Foam and didn’t find the cost difference was worth it, tbh. What I will say is that I started with a Karcher canon but then bought the Auto Glym version. It’s better but doesn’t spray anywhere near what the canon in the video does. My mix is the same. Always wondered how these videos show a lovely thick, sticky foam. I hear, often, that it doesn’t make a difference and my Auto-Foam still works incredible but it just satisfying to see. Plus a longer dwell time must clean better, surely.
yer mjjc makes the thickest foam on the market. but the snowfoam ninja society outlines the disadvantages of this. reality is you can just adjust the feed nozzle if its too foamy but it makes very little difference either way.
I use a IK foamer 9. Does a really good job on saving product. Only got it as I take my product and own buckets and brushes and microfibres to petrol station or jet wash to wash 😂 when I have access to a driveway though I’ll whip out the mjjc foam lance. Just wish you could hook it up to petrol stations
Another great video mate! I love Touchless, but recently also love Labo Primus 2.0. Cleans almost as well, and can be used as a shampoo too so great for lubricity for contact wash.
Need contact wash always, as you say gurney still leaves some, is alot less, but once it dries is visible. It is summer time here downunder, we get more wind blown dirt coating cars, i like to prerinse that off as its abrasive, and leads to the micro scratching swirls. Summer is fun, no shade in our car yard whatsover, getting warm water out the hose, and blisteringly hot paint, cars drying before i can microfibre dry, all kids of waterspotting issues and diluting suds down to bare minimum as it just dries seconds later. Our yards next to a 3 lane busy road, love the road grime spray coating everything, i even go out and clean the footapth and gutter, black filth. Have silt traps and is cray ammount of dirt that enter our concreted area, end up vacuuming concrete to minimise the dust/dirt.
I still find myself going back to Autobrite Magifoam. I guess it's not super cost effective, but it being available locally whenever I need it just works for me.
I wouldn’t use the 10W50 for winter and running in, use a 5W40 until the car is fully run in, spring temps have risen above 10 degrees C and its track day time, the UK has such a wide range of temps, summer to winter, using two grades is a good way to go. Just keep to the same make and type of oil as the additive packages will be similar and compatible.
Good morning sir. Do you have a link for your snowfoam gun? My current one is a bit naff. Foams OK but makes a mess, even after fine tuning the dam thing.
Think we have the worse colour on our cars for showing up the U.K. road grime. Ours is a pearl white normally but it’s looking more like the colour of your BMW 😂. After your review on snow foams I changed from the easy to obtain AutoGlym polar set up to the Bilt Hamber touchless and love it. I do still use the AutoGlym polar seal after using Bilt Hamber, both for touchless and as a touch wash then spray on the polar seal, rinse then dry. This combo is great for beading and lasts for ages. I have no other protection (waxes etc) as the car is still relatively new at 6 years old but when we get the warmer weather next year I’m going to give it a really full detail as some fox or cat has scratched the bonnet 😡 so I’ll be ready to bust out my polisher. Just hope the scratches aren’t too deep that I’ll need to wet sand 🙈 nothing too abrasive (4K grit first) let’s hope it doesn’t come to that. I have wet sand my old cars headlights, first on a cheap eBay purchase one (£20) then on the car and they came out great
I would never go straight to a rinseless wash on a car this dirty. Do this process first, then pull it in the garage and do your rinseless wash after knocking off all the crud.
Man I hate the winter I went to a car wash on saturday and managed to pick the only bay without snow foam...used just plain water from a larger distance then oxy water for around 7 minutes total and thought I managed to get most of it off... Then I arrived home and realised the car was still damn filthy as it dried when I was coming back haha Never again, snow foam is now 100% my go-to.
Hi mate, I got the mtm sgs35 (thanks for the recommendation!) I think I will benefit from a 20inch lance. Would you recommend the MTM one ? is that what you are using in the video (having said that, the MTM one has a black rubber cover I believe)?
Touchless worked great for me at first, but now I just can't get a foam from it. I've cleaned and replaced filters but no joy I have a Mjjc and nilfisk 145 just not happening for me
sometimes the spray and rinse products can effect the lances but if you changed the filters that would fix it. But at the end of the day you dont need like the shaving foam. Its nice but you dont "need" it.
I nearly swore when i looked into how much the 5l Jerry cans are from lab unlimited 😳 but im a knob so ordered 4 🤦 i do want 8 eventually but i may wait until after Christmas 😂
Hi, I have an AVA pressure washer. The snow foam cannon it comes with is poor. What is the one you use and attachments please and where can I get one. Thanks.
Did you use hot water?--I can't tell if that's steam or just spray. And what was the outside temperature when you did this? Sorry if you said in the video and I didn't catch it.
Curious how this ranks with chem-x S&S. I bought some S&S about a month ago...first time I used it, I didn't use the correct ratio so the results were not great. Problem here in Texas is the dwell time is very limited with the heat/sun.
that stuff is 7% caustic soda. ive said it many times and its not to be nasty. But the USA does not have good surfactants. Has nice emulsions and spray waxes and stuff. But surfactants over there are not great.
I have noticed that when Touchless is that thick it doesn't get into good contact with the surface of the car and somehow leaves "dryspots". So from that perspective I'd prefer it a bit less foamy.
I really don't notice that. Put it on let it soak. Blast it off. It does not need to sit for 10 mins.. I know what you mean though foam can become dry if too thick but you can dial it down a bit if u want
It's just a simple solid product that I will always have on my shelves ready to go. I've yet to use a snowfoam that will clean better. Uses environmentally considerate chemicals that has teeth and doesn't contain ingredients that can accelerate rust and corrosion with salt based cleaning power. A feel good product and its enjoyable to use.
Good video John. On the subject of reducing PIR to save money I have seen others using it through a pump sprayer with 2% PIR and hence using a lot less product per wash. I wonder if you did the two methods side by side (foam/sprayer) if the results would be the same. Cheers
I think if PIR is the same it should roughly same results. Only thing for me is I have the pressure washer out. So its quicker to get coverage with lance and the lance floods out the archers and nooks and crannies better than pump sprayer
Does the touchless keep ok if you pre mix it? I’m sure I read that once mixed in the cannon it needs to be used fairly soon? Does the same not apply for storing in the Jerry cans?
with surfex and autofoam I think you can get calcification if you mix with tap water (ok with DI water) This does not do it so its been fine for me. Touchless though is a sticky chemical in its neat foam so maybe it can clogg filters if left in lance. but ive not experienced this.
bee poop. not heard that before. but wash car and use a good citrus. Then try a tar and glue remover. then clay and polish if the chemicals have not removeed it.
@ForensicDetailing thanks. Problem is it happens 5 days a week. Was hoping for more for a better repellant. I'm using bh double speed wax and it still sticks like a mf..
For someone like myself who doesn’t have such nice and protected paintwork. Dirt Never comes off that easily. 😂 still thought bh was the best I’ve tried so far though.👍🏻
@@ForensicDetailing still a great way to remove most of the dirt and make the car look respectable in 20 minutes max, before going back inside to get away from the freezing cold. Cheaper and faster than going to the local scratch and shine for their £12-£15 special.
TFR is what I use in a pump sprayer. Whilst Touchless is undeniably effective, using 200ml of it in a foam cannon is just too expensive for a pre wash. Touchless in a pump sprayer would be a lot cheaper and still effective.
dont what to keep hitting car with caustic stuff it will dull my alloys, potentially stain trim, breakdown headlight CC. Non caustic TFR maybe but dunno TL for me is better at road film dirt removal than a TFR and its safe.
@ForensicDetailing Fair comment about caustic TFR as that will definitely spoil your alloys and brightwork over time. I use non caustic TFR. I find it's effective and safe, but maybe the reality is I'm too much of a tight wad to splash out on Touchless as an everyday prewash hahaha.
@@ForensicDetailingyea but John you spend more time in un tangling them than actually washing the car, there must be more flexible hoses available Why Karcher uses these hoes I’ve no idea, they are crap
Looks like Ava go p55 is 95db and karcher k4 is 88db. Very tempted to get the p55 on offer at £220 ATM. But I do remember the was a bundle last year at £150 I just seem to have read somewhere it was old stock or stock that blew fuses?
@@oursulaert yer they wont do that 150£ deal ever again lol. They emptied the entire stockpile of it. But it was 150£ for the unit with delux bundle. was wayy too cheap. so if you can get a bundle deal for about 200 quid now you will be doing well mate.
Could you tell us if self-service presure car wash shampoo is any good? At my local pressure wash I have the options of Snow foam Shampoo Wax Plain water Oxy water (or whatever you guys call water that has close to no impurities) I now do Snow foam -> Plain water -> Oxy without drying and I'm wondering if I should do Shampoo too, maybe after the Snow foam?
no mate this is better at road film removal and if you spray on the APC then this wont be able to saturate into the dirt. you can use APC and then foam on top maybe with a milder foam to turbo charge it. but you dont need to with touchless.
@@steverogers7473 you could do either. I used to do that but now go from bottom to up to make sure I don’t miss any spots. With snow foam it’s easier to keep track than when using spray form but you still have the same challenge at the end of it.
@@steverogers7473 autoglym videos on here say it stops streaking, I think it means I don't have water running down taking away the foam. The foam is always waiting to be hit with the pressure washer
mate with any shampoo. you dose it out in the bucket you wipe over the car and you rinse off. And thats it. they all work. BH is low frills. its not high foaming or sudsey at 1:2000. but I trust their expertise very highly. Trust the fact it saves me money. But car chem 1900:1 was my shampoo best of winner.
Jon. Nice one on easy PIR to volume on the old Touchless. Is this on new TL or the old TL. Cheers. Winter guessing new TL can get down to 1/9. Really low 1/5?
@ yup. Still bit ouchy for trade budget car dirt. Love LOVE the TL on girlfriend’s car. And 1 or 2 a year I own. Trying best g et away cheap TFR through cannon. But god is it effective. Hits one car once. For sale. So no rubber chrome issues just clean clean clean. I do like to keep the protection on nicer cars summer. Hence the TL still in my arsenal.
Also Jon. Ended up going 20L £48 CarChem MaxiMoose. Not convinced spelt that right. Both through a cannon. Do I take it the MaxiM is a little more caustic and drags bit more dirt off. Vs TL????? Needed finally get a Citrus on go start the move away from aggressive TFR. Cheers
Hi Jon, slightly unrelated question in regards to the video. Is bilthamber AUTO-QD Good as a drying aid? Have you any experience with it? Thanks. Thanks to you im slowly switching to nearly entirely bilt hamber products, best of the best
Yes at 1 to 9 through to 1 to 20. Doesn't have magic slick buff. Doesn't add to much protection or much beadage.. but it's a functional product and perhaps cheapest on the market. I'll always have it but I also have a few other better ones to hand as well.
I use a hoselock hose mate. into AVA p55 go. which uses the stock steel reinforced hose. Then to a AVA/nilfisk adapter then to SG35 gun with quick release. works well. I think Im running a size 40 orrafice on the white 40deg nozzle. dont back your machine up if you use non standard nozzles.
Somehow Touch-less has never worked for for me like in youtube videos. I have to use it almost 1:10 in a pump sprayer to get the car relatively clean for the second phase, even then it's leaving quite thick film of dirt. I like the anti-rust aspect of it though
Note, US Plastic sells ‘5 Liter Space Saver Container with Spigot’ jerrycan for $11. Nowhere near the quality of Lab Unlimited, but also nowhere near the price.

Touchless is impressive no doubt. I used it today on a big build up of this kind of road film and it took it in it’s stride. Bilt Hamber are top dogs in detailing 👍

yer I can just turn the tap and fill the lance. saves time. can add a bit of water if I want to knock it down.
Agreed, I use BH touchless as well as being safe for me it’s safe on my tarmac drive too everything else seems to dissolve it! Argh 😢
Cheers mate and thanks again for all the help and suggestions 😊
1 mile of driving in this weather and it’s back to square one. A fortnightly wash is plenty this time of year.
more like 100 meters ! :)
Another great video mate! I love Touchless, but recently also love Labo Primus 2.0. Cleans almost as well, and can be used as a shampoo too so great for lubricity for contact wash.
Bilt Hamber Touch-Less V2 my favourite to
Need contact wash always, as you say gurney still leaves some, is alot less, but once it dries is visible.
I guess it's not super cost effective, but it being available locally whenever I need it just works for me.
its a good foaming cleaner and its reasonably priced.
Running in on 0w40. Switching to 10 50 later.
Good morning sir. Do you have a link for your snowfoam gun? My current one is a bit naff. Foams OK but makes a mess, even after fine tuning the dam thing.
Mjjc pro V2. Must be pro and V2 mate not S and v3
@ForensicDetailing thank you sir
Would it be good to use on a wet car ie it rains and just spray touchless on and jet wash off?
you can do mate yes.
What foamer/power washer is that, i use a normal power washer whick sends too much water through and go through foamer like no tomorrow 😂
ava p55 go with mjjc pro v2 lance
Can this be used on a car with ppf? I have ngenco spray ppf.
yes m8
It’s a yes from me too,brilliant product 👍
Have you a link for the ‘power-washer’ please Jon. Just finished my 5ltr of ‘old’ touchless. Sent for 5ltr of the new stuff.
Think its in the description for indetailing and a code forensic or similar too
Ava P55 GO
wow what is that pressure washer your using great pressure better than a karcher
I have wet sand my old cars headlights, first on a cheap eBay purchase one (£20) then on the car and they came out great
Love the lance attachment / nozzle on the AVA, what is that please ? Great watch as always ! Many thanks 🙂👍
SGS35 gun m8
Would a rinseless wash be suitable with the car in this condition or are you too concerned of causing scratches and swirls with the salt/grit?
Not really no all the nooks and crannys mate easier with jet wash
I often do a pre wash as this video, then a rinsless wash once 90-95% of dirt is gone
I would never go straight to a rinseless wash on a car this dirty. Do this process first, then pull it in the garage and do your rinseless wash after knocking off all the crud.
What did you say the model of your pressure washer is again please?
ava p55 go
Many thanks 👍🏻🍻
Man I hate the winter
I went to a car wash on saturday and managed to pick the only bay without snow foam...used just plain water from a larger distance then oxy water for around 7 minutes total and thought I managed to get most of it off...
Then I arrived home and realised the car was still damn filthy as it dried when I was coming back haha
Never again, snow foam is now 100% my go-to.
Hi mate, I got the mtm sgs35 (thanks for the recommendation!) I think I will benefit from a 20inch lance.
Would you recommend the MTM one ? is that what you are using in the video (having said that, the MTM one has a black rubber cover I believe)?
I would get a MJJC pro V2 (NOT "MJJC S V3" and NOT "MJJC PRO V3")
Where did you get the end attachment for the short trigger gun please?
the extention is just a quick release extention bar mate you can get on amazon or in2detailnig cost about 10 quid
I use ez car care and valet pro snow foam 😊😊😊 great channel 😊😊😊
Touchless worked great for me at first, but now I just can't get a foam from it. I've cleaned and replaced filters but no joy I have a Mjjc and nilfisk 145 just not happening for me
sometimes the spray and rinse products can effect the lances but if you changed the filters that would fix it. But at the end of the day you dont need like the shaving foam. Its nice but you dont "need" it.
How does surfex hd compare to touchless for a prewash? Also does using a pump sprayer give different results compared to using a foam cannon?
i think touchless is a better prewash personally but you can use surfex.
I nearly swore when i looked into how much the 5l Jerry cans are from lab unlimited 😳 but im a knob so ordered 4 🤦 i do want 8 eventually but i may wait until after Christmas 😂
They are damn expensive. I want a 10 litre one but I value my kidneys too much.
Hi, I have an AVA pressure washer. The snow foam cannon it comes with is poor. What is the one you use and attachments please and where can I get one. Thanks.
Mjjc pro V2 with SGS35 gun
@ thanks.
Did you use hot water?--I can't tell if that's steam or just spray. And what was the outside temperature when you did this? Sorry if you said in the video and I didn't catch it.
no mate just cold water feed. I think it was about 10 deg?
Would you recommend foaming directly on a dry car in winter to give the foam more bite ?
if you can yes. the dry dirt film will draw in the chemical. A wet dirt film is saturated and cannot draw anything in.
Can I safely use the Touchless on a car that I have used Autoglym Rapid Ceramic Spray, without it losing its protection?
Get yourself a bottle of polar seal
@ so is it a good product that will stay put after using pre-wash foam?
A feel good product and its enjoyable to use.
yer its really good cleaner with no nastys.
Please tell me the best way to protect against and remove bee poop, my white car looks like a dalmatian with yellow spots everyday.
bee poop. not heard that before. but wash car and use a good citrus. Then try a tar and glue remover. then clay and polish if the chemicals have not removeed it.
@ForensicDetailing thanks. Problem is it happens 5 days a week.
Was hoping for more for a better repellant. I'm using bh double speed wax and it still sticks like a mf..
I have seen a YT video that recommended Fenwicks caravan cleaner. Not tried it myself yet as no bee poop about at this time of year.
For someone like myself who doesn’t have such nice and protected paintwork. Dirt Never comes off that easily. 😂 still thought bh was the best I’ve tried so far though.👍🏻
Get it xlayed and polish and protect mate and keep that protection zinging. You notice the dirt peel when the protection is fresh and zingy
I always have a film of dirt left after pre wash and snow foam! Using bh touchless and bh autofoam
Using any pre wash or TFR worth having will still leave a thin layer of dirt that can only be removed with contact wash.
yer I mean in this video there would have still be dirt on the car after the prewash as well.
@@ForensicDetailing any chance we could get a review of non caustic TFR like Road Rage?
@ForensicDetailing Fair comment about caustic TFR as that will definitely spoil your alloys and brightwork over time. I use non caustic TFR. I find it's effective and safe, but maybe the reality is I'm too much of a tight wad to splash out on Touchless as an everyday prewash hahaha.
@ auto foam is a good cheaper alternative but if you insist on a TFR, maybe a non caustic one like HDD Road Rage could be one to try.
Mega foam is good with a hot water jet wash :))
I had exactly the same car brand new 1997..........is that Monaco Blue?
cosmos swartz mate.
@@ForensicDetailing It look real blue...
Which pressure washer hoses do you recommend for the weekend DIY'er Jon?
the free ones that come with the machine m8
@@ForensicDetailingyea but John you spend more time in un tangling them than actually washing the car, there must be more flexible hoses available
Why Karcher uses these hoes I’ve no idea, they are crap
they cheap mate :) company called hose direct sell lots of different more industrial ones.
Is the Ava go noisey or is it just amplified with garage
Im not sure mate it whines away like any pressure does. dunno if theres much difference
Looks like Ava go p55 is 95db and karcher k4 is 88db. Very tempted to get the p55 on offer at £220 ATM. But I do remember the was a bundle last year at £150 I just seem to have read somewhere it was old stock or stock that blew fuses?
Smart Series: - 10-year warranty - 3-piston pump - Universal motor - Steel-reinforced hose - Requires assembly - 92 dB noise level - Weight: 10-10.6 kg Master Series: - 20-year warranty - 4-piston pump - Induction motor - Steel-reinforced hose - Ready to use straight out of the box - 90.7 dB noise level - Weight: 28 kg
@@oursulaert yer they wont do that 150£ deal ever again lol. They emptied the entire stockpile of it. But it was 150£ for the unit with delux bundle. was wayy too cheap. so if you can get a bundle deal for about 200 quid now you will be doing well mate.
How are you finding the Arva pressure washer?
Grrrrrrrr8 so far mate.
Nice one, I'm tempted 👌🏼
Do you use rust protection on the cars like Atom-Mac or dynax?
If needed mate but not so often
Could you tell us if self-service presure car wash shampoo is any good? At my local pressure wash I have the options of
Snow foam
Shampoo
Wax
Plain water
Oxy water (or whatever you guys call water that has close to no impurities)
I now do Snow foam -> Plain water -> Oxy without drying and I'm wondering if I should do Shampoo too, maybe after the Snow foam?
No idea mate honestly without testing it it's impossible to know
@ForensicDetailing thanks either way! I'll test it in future washes and leave a comment with the results, perhaps you find it useful.
Which adaptor/gun/foam cannon are you using with the Ava Go? I have the same machine and dislike the plastic connectors. Thank you!
SGS35 gun mate
@@ForensicDetailing Thanks!
So you use an apc on the bad areas before spraying the foam ?
no mate this is better at road film removal and if you spray on the APC then this wont be able to saturate into the dirt. you can use APC and then foam on top maybe with a milder foam to turbo charge it. but you dont need to with touchless.
Great video Jon.When you are rinsing, is there any reason you don't start at the top of the car and work downwards?
I am an avid BH Touchless user thanks to your recommendation. 👍
can do mate
@@steverogers7473 you could do either. I used to do that but now go from bottom to up to make sure I don’t miss any spots. With snow foam it’s easier to keep track than when using spray form but you still have the same challenge at the end of it.
@@steverogers7473 autoglym videos on here say it stops streaking, I think it means I don't have water running down taking away the foam. The foam is always waiting to be hit with the pressure washer
What are your opinions on the bilt hamber autowash?
its a cost effective car shampoo. but lots of people dont like it because it does not smell of bananas and create thick foam.
@ForensicDetailing how is it as a car shampoo? Does it live up to the Bilt Hamber name? Is it better than Carpro Reset?
mate with any shampoo. you dose it out in the bucket you wipe over the car and you rinse off.
Really low 1/5?
this is new TL mate. 1/9 would be close-ish to 1% for lots of systems. 1/4 yer gets you closer to 2%.
Nerta blue Diamond 👍🙂
Cheers
I have bilt and maxi and maxi is my go to product. In fact my bilt is never used and just sits doing nothing
Have you tested this versus Koch Chemie VB and SF?
No. VB I would not make the switch to because of the NAOH. Could be worth a comparison with SF but its 10L only isnt it?
@ForensicDetailing is there NAOH in the new one, ive seen VBn and VB - free of NTA. Yeah, it is 10L only i believe.
@@buvik100 no sure mate theres only one on their SDS pages. www.koch-chemie.com/en/products/data-sheets/v
Hi John what pressure washer hose have you upgraded to ?
It’s the normal one Ava used to send out with their machines. It’s steel reinforced.
I have a karcher k4, but the hoze that came with it kinks all the time and gets stuck when pulling it around the tyres. I need to upgrade
I'm a bilt hamber touchless man now. Stick it in a garden sprayer, leave and rinse, bingo.
Somehow Touch-less has never worked for for me like in youtube videos. I have to use it almost 1:10 in a pump sprayer to get the car relatively clean for the second phase, even then it's leaving quite thick film of dirt. I like the anti-rust aspect of it though
That's 10% pir needs to be 1 to 2% mate.
@ForensicDetailing I know, it's just not enough for the dirt in Estonia
Note, US Plastic sells ‘5 Liter Space Saver Container with Spigot’ jerrycan for $11. Nowhere near the quality of Lab Unlimited, but also nowhere near the price.
Can I get in the UK?
Love your videos and appreciate all that you do to make them come to life. I’m 6 months and untold currency down this rabbit hole. Loving the chase and learning the craft. Videos from Obsessed Garage, IMJOSHV, Kiev with Cars, Pan, and others have been a blast to watch. But yours are unique and arguably my favorites. Would not change a thing. Be good.
@@ForensicDetailingYes, looks like they have an international orders contact. I just ordered 6. They are HDPE vs your much sturdier polypropylene. Let me know if you would like feedback once they arrive.
Blimey Jon, you've got some product on that car?
What about labocosmetica primus V.2 your fellow youtuber detailingschool suggests? As the best combination of effectiveness, safety and versatility
60quid for 4.5 litres. I just can't afford it really.
@ForensicDetailing Yes, it depends on the market and country of production. To me, Koch Chemie AF is the most vfm, good cleaning power, ultimate scent, not too aggressive and you need some 10-20ml for the car
I have a bottle of touchless and I'm not happy with it. The auto foam cuts so much better than it :/
seen this comment but reversed many times as well.
Hey Jon 👌
Touchless is impressive no doubt. I used it today on a big build up of this kind of road film and it took it in it’s stride. Bilt Hamber are top dogs in detailing 👍
I like the fact its not really a detail brand but also more a care treatment brand with its rust treatment stuff and then degreasers and cleaners. I think if it became fully detailing focus;d the prices might go up too much
Get yourself a decent power washer!!!
Its not actual table sugar in touch-less
No mate 😁
Brother thank you listen to your advice on Angelwax regenerate compound. Fuck me rasta bloodclart the product is really good. Looking for a Finishing polish test if you can, F6 01 using at minute but think there is something better respect.
F6 is mid range mate. Finishing polish try Koch M2 or Scholl S40 mate.
