Two of the most incredibly talented musicians on earth!! Get their record "In Stereo " cause it's incredible!!
Did Guthrie let the cat out of the bag? "We are recording some new tunes...". We can only hope for another collab record. "In Stereo" is so good. Every listen I discover something new.
Yes
I love those two cats. What an awesome conversation! Thanks for posting! Hellos from Brazil.
Great interview!
❤ will be at both shows next weekend in Nashville for these two. I’m so very, very excited.
Such incredible talents. It's a privilege to be able to share in their experiences even in a small way. Thanks to them and thanks to you for bringing this to us.
Tom: I hate 99% of what I play. I'm looking for that 1%.
Aren't we all. Isn't that what moves the beast along every day?
I learned all them chords to beach boys song that Tom, Sarah, and two friends done years ago. Flute playing and all, it was so cool.
I too "discovered" Tom when he was doing his first at home videos with Sarah et al. I was looking for someone who could play "Blonde in the Bleachers" by Joni Mitchell on guitar and wouldn't you know .........
Thanks for the time-tested truths! 100+year old wood Does sound better, & a deluxe, princeton, or even pro junior will “get it”, set right! And spontaneous, melodic and original Will move people, esp. if you’ve put in your 20-30+ years in the trenches. Kudos 😎🎶
Meanwhile that's exactly how SRV got his big break. He asked Albert King to sit in and instead of giving him the Guthrie Trapp treatment, King was kind enough or smart enough to check the kid out and boy was he surprised.
Might be a "how you say it" not "what you say" thing.
@@andersestes yeah I'm sure SRV didn't say he was better. Lol.
The exception that proves the rule? Haha
The heart-N-Soul influence
of the future of Nashville...
