are you referring to the ex GB&W/KBSR unit (308) with the chopped nose? KBSR runs right past my house, driven/rode that unit along with the 301 (RS11) and 315(Alco C420) several times. got to love it when you know engineers =) shame they use GP40's now =(
Yeah, there were 5 people in the cab which was another unexpected thing about Throttle Time. This video was the sort of training session for Chuck to understand what he was supposed to do. None of the experience was exactly what we expected but it was okay.
We were under the impression that the Milwaukee Road 1649 would be running for Throttle Time and that's what Chuck really wanted to operate. The IC was a bit of a momentary disappointment but we plan to go back when the 1649 is operational. Thanks for your comment.
