What were your highlights from this year's Guitar Summit ? feel free to tag yourself with a time stamp if you see yourself in there =) **edit if you want to see the other side of meeting Lee & Pete from Andertons , they just posted their video: ua-cam.com/video/W3yxbsx7byo/v-deo.html
@@JamieSlays yes =) let's chat/hang next time, or if you feel like coming to see a show in Luxembourg, drop me a line, got a serious ton of cool metal shows later this year
Really enjoyed this video! My personal favorite of the Summit videos, because you are super calm, explaining everything, guiding us nicely through - well executed!
Nice one. Funny to see some visitors that I actually remember seeing when being there, ha ha. I walked 15.000 steps that day, my Garmin said. Well. It wasn't boring. What an event.
Thanks for this, I have been asking friend I knew that went how it was but this is so helpful to get a sense of it. I’ve been to NAMM so knowing how that is I really appreciate seeing this perspective of Guitar summit and the fact that you could have a conversation with people a summit. NAMM it’s so hard, you shout and lose your voice by day 2-3. I hope to go to this event one day.
thanks 🙏 glad it was useful, there was definitely more people on the Saturday (when i shot this) so this was on one of the busier days, but you can still walk around, talk to people, and the noise level is always manageable, the Friday & Sunday in comparison has less people, Sunday is a more family orientated day with concerts for kids in the main concert room and the Friday a lot of people work, so i guess that's why a lot of people pick the Saturday for a one day excursion i'll definitely be going back next year, depending on work can't say if it'll be the full 3 days or not, would be great to hang out if you ever make it over
@@paulbradshawguitarjust to get the full experience of likely go both days or I’d go with what friends I knew there were doing as plans at the show as it’s always fun exploring with those who have gone before! If I get out that way for summit I’d totally love to hang!
@@PedalPlayhouse for sure, always great to explore with friends, there is however so much stuff to explore and also try, add to that if you have content to film/talk to people etc.. you lose track of time quite easily, but that's not a bad thing 🙂
@@PedalPlayhouse yeah the filming/content vibe is definitely a thing, i ended up with only 3 things, this walkthrough video, and then something on Balaguer guitars (which I think a lot of people might a missed due to them being on the top floor) and Soulman pedalboards, could a done a lot more, but there's only so much time there , and you want to enjoy it as well 😄 seeing the andertons rig on their walkthrough was nuts, super hi-end stuff, but still loads of work either way
Great video mate! Enjoyed seeing your take on this. I’ve been to the NAMM show plenty of times but never any of the European shows - hopefully next year, maybe…
ah thanks a lot 🙏 I haven't been to NAMM , so I can only make comparisons based on videos i've seen over the years, I can heartily recommend Guitar Summit in any case, if you're around at some point let me know, would be great to hang out
I would like to know about that purple Schmidt guitar around 8 minutes 30 seconds. There doesn't seem to be anything like it on their website. I think it's love at first sight.
that did look amazing, sorry there wasn't more footage as i was walking by, i have a feeling it's maybe something custom made for guitar summit, quite a few booths had custom pieces just for the show, it might show up eventually, or best to drop them an email / contact =)

8:37 Schmidt Guitars are amazing instruments!
Thank you for the walkthrough, but you were actually "running" ! LOL I have to slow down the video to really see these guitars and gears
I'm 2m01 tall or 6'7" 😄i make big steps when i walk , thanks for checking out the video 🙏
Did I miss Suhr in here? I saw a few teles, and I was wondering if they were customs, or a new annual run, but I can't find much video of their booth.
there's a part of the musifacts booth at around the 6:20 mark that has some Suhr guitars, maybe 7-8 guitars i think,
