Hey I loved this design, would love to see a walkthrough on your creative input in how you edited the mop text , I love the placement gradient and touch it gave the rest of the artwork
Loved this tutorial. How would you go about exporting this kind of photoshop design for DTG and screen print? A lot of t-shirt tutorials seem to not mention this and I've been wanting to get into this sort of thing
Hey man, cool content you're making. I wanna try and design some tees and stuff and get into POD, but since I never done this before what program would you recommend to a beginner? All I ever do was to mess around with Placeit. Many thanks, keep up the good work!
Hi, can i know artboard size? And can i use this method for designing tshirts for redbubble? Because i saw you taking images and add finally textures. Are they clearly visible after it printed? 🤔
Ask for knowledge if we make shirts like this for sale. Is it copyright infringement like kpop band shirt or modded image from pinterest? Thank you i like your work.
Man!! Love your content, You’ve been a huge inspiration. I’d love to see you make something for the band Insane Clown Posse. Would be interesting to see for sure.
Hey bro, nice work. I have so much t shirt designs/brands that I can't take all of them seriously. I want to just create them, mock up some websites and collections and sell them as a bundle. How do I do that though? Know any platforms? Also, how do I prevent my showcase artwork from being stolen? Is nft the route? 🙏
I wouldnt go the nft route, designs get stolen all the time just make sure you state that if your property is stolen then legal action will be taken place
Hey man, I was trying to apply filters on my image but when I do, it turns the picture yellow instead of Black and White. I tried to change it to B&W before the filters but it also happen, anyone knows about this please? Thks
I've been an avid fan of your work for a long time now thank you for these video's, your'e exceptionally skilled, and i learn a lot from these tutorials but i'm iffy on using elements from other artist's ,won't you get copyright problems ,the skeleton piece for instance wouldn't it cause problems.
The Skeleton is in the public domain so it’s completely safe to use. I always tell everyone to do their own research before using any asset. Thanks for watching my videos! 🙏🏼😀
Bro i got one serious question for you how the fuck still you work the photoshop with a damn laptop ? I mean photoshop eat a lot of memory it is for the hardest program.
@@CharliePangus i completely understand this mate. Just wanted to know if someone prints it, in that case would there be such scenario✌️ Appreciate your humble time and responce Charley You are a great human, dad and a designer. Hope to design and Collab artwork someday. Looking forward with positive hopes God bless
Why did you use the eraser tool at all? Use masks, dude! If you want to split images after that, copy the selected parts to a new layer and group the layers accordingly. It preserves all the information, that really helps if you want to make changes later on, helps with keeping stuff organised and is simply more professional. Also, try out the new object selection tools in photoshop, they work great with little adjustment (far less than rotoscoping things by hand). Cool design overall, but seemed a bit chaotic in the execution and you explained little of your idea process (e.g. Instead of saying "I'm not done yet, i want to add some lightning" you could have said for example "Metallica uses a lot of strong natural events like storms and lightning, so i took this cool lightning to add more drama"). Seemed kinda randomly thrown together. Really don't want to downplay your speedart here, just my genuine thoughts. Still, keep it going
I just do it the way I do it. That’s why I said in the video “do what works for you”. Appreciate your feedback but it’s the way I work and I’ve been doing it for 11 years lol. Everyone has their own opinions and I respect it. If I listen to everyone I wouldn’t be the designer I am today. I mentioned in the video that the selection tools don’t work well on my system since I use a brand new M1 max MacBook Pro. I feel I explained everything nicely. Thanks though!
@@CharliePangus Sorry, seemed like i missed that part. Thanks for clarifying :) Seems like i've gonna have to watch some more videos of yours, then ;) Have used some of your tutorials before which imho are well explained and cool techniques. Bonus points to taking time to reply thoughtfully. So, as i said, keep up the work :) PS: You probably aleady know him, but check out texturelabs on UA-cam. He got some crazy cool stuff on there, especially working with gradient maps opens up so much possibilities

Where do you find those old school movie posters?

Awesome work . May i ask what type of texture u used on the design after its been finished i mean to have that grungy look ? Thank you
It’s a plastisol shirt texture. I will be making a custom pack soon.
Hi charley what texture do you used in that design?
I feel like this video fast forwards through the tutorial part.
One and only
this is awesome! how can you tell if a photo is public domain or not though?
Just read up on the copyright of each photo and it’s fairly easy to find. Thanks for watching me and a lot to me. 🙏🏼
Actually sick that u come with the printed endresult in just a week though
Which print method would work for this style design? Sublimation or screen print transfers
DTG or screen print

And also where did you get that sick texture from at the end? I never get good textures online 😫
That’s a plastisol texture I found online. It’s been so long I can’t remember what website but just google it and you will find it.
@@CharliePangus thanks a lot, your videos are awesome 😩😩

Yooo that would be a fun band to design for. I will see what I can do. 🤘🏻🙏🏼🔥
Awesome work man! What´s the name of the band at minute 6? Nice bass!
Hey thank you! I found it on epidemic sound I forget the name now.
What kind of print was this, a dirct to fabric print?
Where did you get that poster from? Which website?
Which one?
How do you find the cool public domain images like the skeleton? When I look up public domain images I just see crappy boring normal stock photos
It’s definitely tough! Takes a lot of time to find good assets.

If U sell custom vintage tees I’m looking for a long sleeve green lightening type Metallica XL shirt

Where did U get that ilustration bro?
I explained it in the video
So fkn Fire 🔥🔥🔥
Yoooooo Holmescope is in the house. Thanks bro! ❤️🔥
One last question, can we get that same 3d text in photoshop?
I’m always here for you brother!
Ask anything you want anytime.
I made the 3D text in after effects using video copilots plug-in.
@@CharliePangus Thanks, can you do a tutorial? Love you man!😭
Is it legal to use the brand name (Metallica ) in a t_shirt desing?
Where do you search for images in a public domain? Not sure what you mean by public domain thank you !!
After editing can we print on dtf printer?
1000%
@@CharliePangus thanks 🙏💜
how do I use the metallic font for my own brand name?

How much do you charge for a shirt design???
how can you tell if its high enough quality to get printed on a shirt without losing quality??
To start its set to 300 resolution so that’s how I know. Always wanted to design at 300 dpi.

Just click the link and choose annual subscription at checkout
@@CharliePangus It just the same price tho, is there a code?

Great job but did you have to get Metallica's ok to do this? You know how they are..especially Lars
This was just for fun. If I were to try and sell this yes I would need permission.
You sure in 5 min or less ? 😂 Thanks for this
Probably not it was just a title adjustment I ended up changing back because yeah it ain’t happening in 5 lol

Won't there be any ©® issues if someone uses such brand names or artist names or band names etc in their designs!!
Dude it’s for fun no one is printing this lol. You missed the point. It’s called concepts.

If it’s lighting And thunder shouldn’t it be named “ride the lighting” instead of master of puppets
I still like it as master of puppets. Both can work. Lightning doesn’t mean it has to be 1 thing.
