People think this version sounds weak because it's a lot tighter, which no offense to Metallica because they are still one of my favorite bands of all time, but metal music is supposed to be tight like this. Of course, it helps that Halestorm's drummer is a machine whereas Lars, while not as bad as everyone jokes about, isn't the most technical musician by a long shot

I always forget that Halestorm did the whole album of legendary covers . I have love Lzzy Hale from day one but the moment i absolutely fell in love was when i heard this "Ride the Lightning" metallica cover by Halestorm. This girl is so talented. And also this band does the best AC/DC covers too.
