That's my favorite thing about new Broly. He's an actual sympathetic, genuinely interesting dude that the others are tryna help out. Much smarter than you'd think too, taking a seemingly throwaway line of Gohan's and making great progress with it.

I really like that it was Beast Gohan he went up against that showed him unlocking Super Saiyan in a controlled state. Not only was Gohan one of the first two Saiyans to master the original Super Saiyan state, but also Beast Gohan is a representation of the rage that ascended Super Saiyan in the first place, it is THAT power, in a controlled state. So these two forms combatting one another feels very thematically appropriate. In this way, Broly really feels like the "Vegeta" to Gohan's "Goku".
Except Gohan is only half saiyan so not really 😂

Hear me out. Broly is the perfect candidate to bring SSJ4 into Super canon. In GT, it was, in a sense, brought about by channeling the Super Saiyan power through the great ape form. Broly has the ability to tap into that great ape power without a transformation. So what if he were to mix the two states together?

while I would love to see canon SSJ4 the way the dialog between Gohan and Goku for beast was written its more likely that Broly will get his own transformation that we haven't seen before. plus its also implied that people with peak Ki control like Goku and Vegeta should be able to preform a transformation similar to Beast Gohan. but then again it could be that same peak control that stops people like them from raising their energy that high.

And it works perfectly for him, because he basically awakened the power of Oozaru in his humanoid form. Growing green fur would be a great ultimate conclusion of that uniqueness, Broly is the most primal of the current Universe 7 Saiyans so I propose a green furred SSJ 4 looking transformation unique to Broly called Ultra Primal.

I think it should of been more like enhanced instincts to gokus already high battle iq. Orange piccolo (although he deserved a new form looks dumb and, sounds even dumber. Vegetas form should of been like destroyer mode or, something ultra ego sounds worst than Orange piccolo. And, back to piccolo I think he should of got some kind of nameiekan god form. Would of been cool if universe 6's nameiekans seen their universe wasn't gonna survive so they fused into piccolo giving him a god form and, look more like his base but, darker and, a little more buff. Even tho that might have disqualified him he'd still maintain that form and, able to go to base at will. Rage Trunks (ssb vegito level) should've been an actual form similar to ultimate Gohan but, instead of the z sword and, Kai unlocking it. The spirit sword and, the energy from his timeline unlock it. Could've been called ssj unleashed or, something. Maybe there's still hope he can achieve that power (form) again. And, little trunk and, goten could focus on mastering fusion with the ability to unlock new forms and, stay in it as long as they'd need too. Also broly going too ssj4 would be insane and, even beyond to the iconic fan made ssj5.
People forget that on the planet where he was stranded with his father, Vampa. It was a planet with extremely hostile life, large monsters constantly attacking him and his dad Paragus so he trained and was constantly powering up fighting off all those monsters all those years since he was literally a baby.

More like only Legendary Brohan. Beast is implied to be an evolution of Ultimate state, so the resulting being of their fusion might need to do the ritual for potential unlocking, as he is a new being with different potential. And after that, he might need to evolve his Ultimate state, that may be Beast or a different state, as Toriyama said it was a unique transformation for him.

gohan absolutely does not take the hybrid path, Trunks does. Gohan takes the human path, with his most powerful transformation being an evolution of Ultimate, which itself isn't even a Saiyan transformation.

Gohan teaching him honestly makes the most sense. Gohan is a perfect example of a saiyan with deep seeded and hidden rage issues, who later learned to harness and control that rage so he would be the best teacher for him, as he to a degree understands and has learned to control the kind of emotions that overrun Broly.
Goku - Has almost always progressed through Passion
Vegeta - Has almost always progresses through Pride
Gohan - Has almost always progressed through Rage
So who else would be the perfect mentor to him other than Gohan.

@@Flamingo48923 I think it'd be absolutely busted, but wouldn't be on the cards. Controlling blue is way harder than ssj, by too big of a factor for him to just do it. It'd be like Saiyan saga Vegeta getting super Saiyan, it requires too much ki control for it to work, even if you boosted his raw power. It's clear given all the other characters focus on their own forms away from blue that broly shouldn't be looking to enter the divine realm, rather to continue working on his unique Saiyan abilities he and he alone has, basically being permanently in oozaru all the time. Wait, super Saiyan oozaru... Isn't that golden great ape, a key component to ssj 4? Ah shit. Welp, I guess we'll get an answer on that in cannon, ssj 4 vs blue.

What’s even more terrifying is…. He’s immune against power creep, he’s always growing and adapting, he started out at a MASSIVE power level of 10,000 and stayed that way for DECADES, only really increasing when fighting goku and vegeta; plus Ikari has only a 10X multiplier. Multipliers alone don’t explain how he was able to reach a fusion level in only a matter of hours, but he’s literally built different, he grows to his opponents power. Terrifying thing is, if he does get those forms, he could slowly POWER DOWN during the battle, as his power grows so he doesn’t get absolutely destroyed by something that’s much stronger than him in the now, and that power could last with broly FOREVER. He would absolutely use them as an equalizer until he’s able to power down and beat them in base. That’s just crazy to think about
Where tf did you get all this from? His power capping is why he almost died to gogeta. When he hit full power at super saiyan, his power didn't increase one bit and he failed to land a single decent blow on gogeta.
Ikari would turn the multipliers of base super saiyan into tripple digits. So that's 500x, 10 times stronger than his super saiyan form really should be. No different from goku applying god ki to super saiyan to get blue.

Broly has the biggest potential right now. They taught him to use THEIR Super Sayian, since no one has experience with the full power ssj. Imagine if he learned how to controll his battle thirst, same as Vegeta has to do with his Ultra Ego form. He'll get better and better at this and reach increasingly more power without losing control
From a narrative point of view, it would make a lot of sense to make broly a glass cannon. He has the potential to beat anyone in front of him but the power he has can also turn on allies as well as enemies.
Broly's potential is one that shows up once every thousand years let that sink in

He overwhelmed base gogeta and was somewhat even with ssj gogeta, gogeta went blue to finish the fight before he ran out of time.
All of this in his first ever real battle
He is THE legendary super saiyan after all, so his potential is the highest among all of them, even higher than hybrid saiyans like Gohan and trunks. To put it into perspective, in the OG movies, it’s confirmed that Goku was born with a power level of 2 (around the average strength of an adult human on earth), whereas Broly was born with a power level of 10,000 (which is what Goku could achieve after training with King Kai to fight the Saiyans in the Saiyan Saga). So yes, his potential is able to supersede all the saiyans, and possibly all the gods as well.
Truth. And Gohan had a power level that reached 2300 by the time he was 5, and was shown to have a higher power level than Vegeta and Piccolo combined during the Saiyan saga. He’s like a mini Broly but even he doesn’t hold a candle to Broly. They were meant to train each other though that’s for sure.

I think Brolys version of Super Saiyan is quite different though. I feel like this line of Super Saiyan isn't even able to achieve Super Saiyan 2 and 3. It would make more sense to find out that this is the TRUE Super Saiyan, one and done. The pinnacle of Saiyan potential.

Idk if it’s just me but I really like the simplicity of giving Broly just Super Saiyan and if he goes berserk, the legendary version. I feel like it allows the initial stage to keep relevancy within the series while still keeping Broly in that “personalized transformation” sphere cause he’s the only one who can use it and match these “god+”-tier opponents

I've been saying that from the beginning. People are quick to bash Broly saying he's the weaker and that Gohan is the strongest of the universe blah blah but they keep forgetting that Broly didn't have his potential unlock twice and he didn't went through all the shit the Z Warriors went.
Broly only has Super Saiyan meanwhile the rest have multiple forms and had a lot of time for learning and training.
So imagine once he starts training hard and learning more and unlock Super Saiyan 2 and more forms.
He'll surpass them easily, Broly is so broken that they barely want him to go SSJ 😅.

Brolys potential is insane. Doing what he did with basically no training was awesome. Just like goku and vegetas base form being much stronger than it was years ago, I think broly just needs to train. In his base form if he knew better he could be a real issue at base

Frieza being able to hit god level power without tapping into god ki should be a clear indicator of how dangerous he could truly be.
Honestly with Gohan, Broly and Frieza (and Piccolo to an extent and Jiren) going around, it's starting to seem like Goku and Vegeta are frauds.
They need God Ki to reach levels that the first three can achieve with just regular Ki.
